Pelican Penthouse, Luxury Waterfront Penthouse (3Bd / 2 Ba) with 1800 Sq Ft Rooftop Patio with 360 degree view in West End. This luxury 3600 sq ft Penthouse unit at Mangrove Dock is a unique water front property located on the quiet end of the tourist area. Being just a three minute walk (no hills) from the Half Moon bay beach, Mangrove Dock is perfectly placed for those wishing for a quite relaxing vacation as well as those wishing to have access to all the tourist amenities available at the heart of the West End and West Bay; which is a short water taxi ride away. the location is perfect as it is quiet in this part of the community but close enough to all the bustling activity at the heart of West End.

Mangrove Dock has assigned car parking for each unit, so having a rental car is no problem, but you probably won't need it. The Penthouse also has an assigned boat slip on a private dock should you wish to have a boat while you are here.
The Penthouse has been designed with a modern loft design while ensuring that it still has a “warm and comfortable”, rather than “show”, feel about it. The main condo has 1800 sq ft with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and serve a group of 8 people and all the appliances needed for a care free stay. Central air and on demand hot water throughout. The main floor has a beautiful balcony outside of the living area and master bedroom.

The private roof garden is also 1800 sq ft and is set out as an outside condo with a full bathroom, kitchen and storage area, dining area, garden and sun deck. We have several other condos available should you wish to make a big family. There is a private pool set among a luscious garden for the community of 3 buildings.

Very nice penthouse unit.

Al is a good communicator and reply’s promptly. The unit is as advertised in the photos only nicer! We would gladly rent it again!

ABOUT THE OWNERS: We are a US diving family living in the frigid Northeast and have enjoyed coming to Roatan for nearly 10 years. This is our favorite dive location in all of the Caribbean, with an abundance of amazing dive sites and the 2nd largest reef in the world. The reef is alive with fish and plant life and only a 2-10 minute small boat ride to the jump in. The developer did a wonderful job with high end amenities and an incredible location. The place is the perfect blend of water activities and peaceful relaxation but close enough to all the benefits of West End.

WHY THE OWNERS CHOSE WEST END: West End is the perfect combination of water activities, beach, restaurants and night life. It is not overly developed and not a big tourist area. It is fantastic for divers and those interested in fishing. It is safe, with a variety of very affordable food choices: Honduran, Thai, Mexican, Chicken, Argentinian, Italian, seafood, burgers etc. Wifi access is available from the majority of dive shops and restaurants for those that don’t want to disconnect.

What makes this property unique

THE UNIQUE BENEFITS OF THIS CONDO: Pelican Penthouse, in Mangrove Dock is perfectly situated just 3-5 mins walking to the center of West End. It is just close enough that you’ll never need a car, but far enough away that you wont be subject to the late night noise and mid day bustle, especially on Cruise Days (only 1-2 times per week in season). The 360 degree views from the rooftop patio are amazing and the breezes allow for comfortable living not requiring use of the AC. There is a bathroom and wetbar on rooftop with a hammock and lounges for sun worship and full 8 person table for dining. Access to the rooftop patio is by stairs in the main hallway or private spiral staircase that connects the full length 3rd floor balcony (equipped with table and lounges also) to the rooftop patio. There is access to the 3rd floor patio from the main living area as well as the master suite. The views of the island and of Mangrove Bight are spectacular!
