Family Wedding

Our family had a wedding to attend nearby and Catherine’s place was a fantastic place for our extended family to call home for a few days surrounding this. Catherine’s response to any questions was prompt and her quick attention to a couple small issues was appreciated. A beautiful, private home in the heart of Wolfville. Thank you!

Great location - otherwise, mediocre -

Wonderful location walking distance to shops & restaurants in quaint town of Wolfville. Lack of photos on VRBO listing should have been questioned - living areas (including kitchen/dining room) and outdoor deck were small & not suited for large groups - bedrooms however were inordinately large. Second bathroom was extremely small and located inside one of the bedrooms so difficult to access - shower so small you could barely turn around. Dishwasher very old do most of the time we needed to wash dishes & silverware prior to use. VERY overpriced for value -

The house was just right. The owner is pleasant and available. We love the house, the town, the people, and the province.

Perfect home for a large group!

Where can you find a house to accommodate 13 women? We were fortunate to have found this gem, walking distance from downtown Wolfville. Catherine promptly responded to any inquiries we had. Overall a great find

Worked perfectly for our family!

We had the pleasure of staying here over the Christmas holidays this year. It was the first time in 6 years that my whole family was able to celebrate Christmas together, and having this home to celebrate in made it perfect! The major selling features of this home are the many bedrooms (all with large, very comfortable beds!) and the large open kitchen. We cooked Christmas dinner for 14 in this kitchen with ease, and even got everyone around a table (10 adults all at the main table and 4 kids, at a second table - already supplied by the house.) While the house is not new or modern, the old architecture is beautiful and the structure is clearly well built. The house held the heat very well and wasn't drafty as you might suspect an older home to be. Room sizes are very large and with 3 levels, there was always a quiet corner to escape to, or space to all be together. Catherine was incredibly accommodating and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. She even arranged for my mother to look at the house a couple months before our stay. Thank you so much Catherine! We hope to come back someday!

Spacious property in great location

This property is ideal for a large group looking for comfortable but not 5 star accommodation- with 6 bedrooms, several with two beds in them, it has large capacity, and great common spaces. This is a new house for the owner so there were some initial hiccups on arrival with no hot water, but the owner was extremely responsive and arranged to address the matter very quickly. Kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and all necessary utensils. The house is in walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, which is big advantage. While a few upgrades would be helpful (blinds in the attic rooms, a few more working plugs, for example) I expect the owner will be addressing these kinds of things as she settles in to owning this new property. The fact that she was so responsive to our needs was very helpful and makes me confident this property will only continue to improve.

I have been hosting people for 4 years. Wolfville is my favourite town in Canada (possibly even the world).

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with Wolfville when I went to Acadia University and have since purchased a couple homes here. A more beautiful town would be hard to find!
