It was a wonderful location. The property/room was very clean. They supply beach chairs, coolers, tents, and a wagon to pull your things to the beach. Bikes are provided. We will be returning as soon as we can!
The listing is accurate and they supply everything we needed and more!!
This was the cleanest home away from home we’ve every stayed in!!!
The Innkeepers made us feel like we were old friends!
This is a perfect place for two people. Location is good, right across from the beach, and the beach chairs and toys available to use are a big plus, especially for people coming via plane. Everything about the unit was well laid out and tastefully decorated. Furniture and bed were comfortable; linens were plentiful and in excellent condition. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to be able to prepare our own meals, and we also made use of the grills in the courtyard (two grills for six units). The living room TV is very big, borderline too big for the space, and has good cable, smart TV apps, and a Blueray player, so there's no shortage of entertainment options. The coffee table also had a small library on the shelves underneath. The only real negative, and it only stood out by virtue of how excellent everything else was, would be the fact that the hosts had stocked the place with 1-ply toilet paper. If this listing fits your budget and you're looking for a couples beach getaway, book it!
Best place to stay in Siesta Key! My husband and I stayed in The Nest on our recent visit. This was our first time at the Inn after several years of trying to book here. It is no wonder that it is always booked...it’s awesome! Paige is such a kind person and makes you feel so at home. The gift bag was such a nice touch and appreciated. The Nest was so cozy, beachy and had everything that we needed during our stay.
The location is perfect for walking to the village and right across the street from a beach access. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers for the guests. The pool was a nice place to relax and read a book after the beach.
The kitchen was stocked with all the things needed for preparing meals if you chose to do so. We mostly ate our meals out though since there are sooo many amazing restaurants to enjoy on the key.
The bedroom had a super comfortable king size bed and walk in shower. Plenty of towels for your entire stay and also available if more were needed.
We can not say enough about how much we loved our stay. Thank you Paige for making us feel at home. We will definitely be back on our next vaca!
Enjoyed the property, a very nice little unit, very clean and enjoyable

Why they chose this property
The Cottage is the original home built on this site in 1936. It has all the charm of a forgotten beach island in its close original state with modern conveniences. This location is really like having your own beach escape! Being right across the street to the beach at access 9 and only a 3 block walk into the Village lined with independently owned restaurants and cute shops. You really may not need a car to rent while here. Sarasota has Uber at easy access too.
What makes this property unique
I fell in love with Siesta Key easily, and the Inn just seemed to check off all the feeling that Siesta Key embodied. Naturally beautiful, causal, easy going. The " beach hair, don't care" attitude. The gentleness of the Siesta waves and kindness of the gulf are like the people who choose to make this their home or the guests who choose to visit us each year!
