93+ 4.9 - 5 star reviews, rated as a "Guest Favorite" and I am rated as a "Super Host" (on another platform) for this duplex remodeled in 2018! 2 car attached garage! No noisy condo! Located in Silverthorne, in the Wildernest area, just under 2 miles off the I70 exit. A perfect central location for any winter ski or summer mountain vacation. A few yards from hiking/biking trail head! Hot tub! Water softener system! PLEASE NO PARTIES, NO SHOES, NO ANIMALS and NO SMOKING. (Summit County STR Permit #BCA-79577) (If I have the property blocked for my use on the dates you want, just ask me and I can be flexible and possibly open the dates for your use!) Parking is limited to the 2 car garage and the driveway. NO STREET PARKING is permitted per county regulations! Please do not block in our duplex neighbors!
Copper Mountain, Keystone & A Basin are all easy to get to in almost equal distances of about 15-20 min +/-. Breckenridge & Vail are about 30 minutes +/-. Summer hiking trail head is literally 100 yards from our front door!
There is now a full family room with another TV, five boxes of DVD movies and plenty of games to enjoy the "snowed-in" mountain feel. Currently there's a half-bath in the lower level until I finish the shower.

Charming and spacious duplex. Perfect mountain get away.
My family and I used rented this duplex for a 4 day ski trip. It is a perfect location between ski resorts, very easy to get to, and close to town. The home was incredibly clean!! A great layout with a large kitchen island we all congregated around. The homeowners had the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Much more so than the usual VRBO. That really made the VRBO feel like home for our short stay.
We did have a small issue with the heating in the house. The homeowner arranged to have someone out to the house within hours to fix the problem. Very quick and efficient.
I would highly recommend and book again!

I live and work in Conifer, but I do volunteer Mountain Safety Patrol at Copper Mountain every other weekend. We are sharing our family skibum cottage with your family so you can experience the love for the mountains that we have! Please respect this as our second home but enjoy it as your own!
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because it was not in a condo setting where we would be subject to little kids playing elevator tag, screaming kids or all night partiers! It is the perfect place for a quiet vacation (or party of your own).
What makes this property unique
2 car attached garage with parking for 4 cars. Laundry in the basement (not shared with 100 other condo people!) HOT TUB just added Sept. 2019 and basement finished in 2022 providing additional living space.
