SPECTACULAR CLEAN TRUE OCEANFRONT....CONTACT FREE CHECKIN...6th floor 2 BR/2 BA vacation rental with stunning Atlantic Ocean views! Hear the sounds of the ocean from the beautiful (and large!) private balcony as you sip your morning coffee and watch the sun come up. If that is your ideal way to start the day you are in the right place.

“The Grotto” is located in beautiful family-oriented Garden City Beach on the South Carolina Grand Strand. This 2 bedroom/2 bath 1,260 square foot condo has floor to ceiling glass across the entire ocean side. A private balcony with sliding glass doors from both the living room and master bedroom plus floor-to-ceiling windows provide magnificent views that you will not want to leave.

In the spring of 2022 we renovated and added brand new flooring, kitchen, master bath, lighting and updated the spare bath.

What is nearby? You are walking distance to several restaurants including the Conch Cafe! Garden City Pier is one mile to the south and the famous Marsh Walk at Murrells Inlet which boasts food, live entertainment and fun is just 4 miles down US-17 BUS. There are several boat tours, including fishing charters and even pirate adventure rides as well as watersports available at the marsh and throughout the area. Myrtle Beach is 8 miles north of Garden City.

Do you golf? We are located among some of the best courses in the state! Caledonia G. & Fish Club, Pawleys Island and The Dunes G. & Beach Club, Myrtle Beach are less than 10 miles away. Two of the "America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses" are located in South Carolina! The Ocean Course Kiawah Island and Yeamans Hall Club, Charleston are about a 90 minute drive from our building.

What is in the unit? This condo features a fully-equipped electric kitchen, washer/dryer, central air conditioning and heat. Flat screen TVs in the living room and in both bedrooms plus a blue ray player and dedicated Wi-Fi keep you entertained when indoors. Sleeping accommodations include a king sized bed in the master, one queen plus a twin in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and are located on opposite ends of the unit providing privacy.

What is the building like? The common area features an elevator with luggage carts available to help transport bags and groceries, we have 2 ocean front pools and hot tubs, the pool decks were refinished in 2020 and provide access to the beach. There is ample parking, some covered with 7-foot clearance. Parking spaces are reserved for guest vehicles only; vehicles not displaying a parking pass on the rear view mirror are subject to immediate towing per the SurfMaster HOA. This unit is located in the south building. Cleaning service and linens are included. We do have a minimum age requirement; renters must be at least 25 years old. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED, no pets, no golf carts.

Beautiful Murrells Inlet Condo

Enjoyed our stay! Condo was immaculate with much appreciated little touches that made us feel welcome. The owners made sure that anything you needed was there; beach chairs and towels, restaurant suggestions, full kitchen set up with any small appliance you might want to use, and the best view of the ocean. We'll be back.

Beautiful and Clean!

Our stay at Surfmaster was wonderful! The view off of the balcony was beautiful and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. And the inside was gorgeous too! Beautifully decorated and extremely clean and had everything that we needed and more. Communication with the owner was very easy. The location of this building was very nice as we were able to easily get to everything we wanted. The restaurant recommendations in the binder in the condo were fantastic. We had never been here and each restaurant we tried was great. And the beach was perfect here! Definitely would like to go back and stay in this same condo.

Relaxed and Refreshed!

The condo was exceptionally clean and well maintained. This was a first time VRBO experience. Everything that we needed was there which was especially nice. The host answered any questions and was nice enough to give suggestions for dinner and a spa for me while my husband and son played golf! Thanks also for the muffins in the morning! My son took care of those when he flew down a few days later to meet us. Little things mean a lot! Thanks again! It was nice meeting you too!

Best Surfmaster Condo

We've been staying in condos at Surfmaster for 20 years and this the best condo we've stayed in. Beautifully redone with lots of amenities that the other condo services don't offer. It was slightly more expensive than the other condos, but was so worth it. Was such a joy not to have to pack out beach chairs and worry about sheets and towels. They even provide beach toys and boogey boards, which was an added bonus. Our hosts were very responsive and even promptly replaced chairs that had broken from wear and tear. Will definitely recommend to others to stay and will look forward to staying again when we come back to Myrtle Beach. One note for the owners - a broom and dust pan might be nice to include in the unit. The swiffer worked, but we couldn't pick anything up with it. We had to get out the vacuum. :-)

Long time visitors

My family has been staying at this property for almost 20 years. By far, condo 611, is the best condo we have ever stayed in. Just to name a few of my favorite things… the condo has a lovely decor, comfortable beds, very clean, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, items for the beach like beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, the condo offers a breathtaking sunrise and ocean vistas off the balcony. We had an amazing vacation and will be retuning soon! Thanks for the memories!

Unbelievable!!

The pictures of this condo, do not do it justice! Absolutely beautiful, the location to everything for our family vacation couldn't have been better! Sat on the balcony and watched the dolphins swim by in the morning, and went to the pier and seen sharks, and stingray, just breath taking Lord willing, we will def. stay here again!

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo for the week! The condo is well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The kitchen is stocked with well-made kitchen utensils if you just wanted to stay in and cook. Beach chairs, umbrellas and even beach towels are provided! The mattress we’re very comfortable! Looking forward to coming down again soon!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful week at Deana and Darins property. View was spectacular and apartment was exactly as pictured and really clean. Everything. Was provided from beach towels and chairs. Parking was easy, water was warm and even some cloudy days didn’t spoil the fun.

Relaxing Getaway

4th of July celebration

It was our first time staying in an ocean front condo. We loved the location. Perfect for watching 4th of July fireworks. Property was clean and nicely furnished. The view was amazing. Sunrise walks on the beach are our favorite way to start the day and shelling on the beach is always a treat. The people we have met and that have stayed in our place have all been wonderful. What makes this property unique

The wall of glass overlooking the beach sold us. You can see the ocean from just about everywhere in the condo. Our parking decks are very convenient and offer covered parking as well as open parking. We really felt that our guests would appreciate the convenience and beauty as much as we do.
