Multilevel home in a quiet residential neighborhood off Warm Springs road in the heart of Ketchum. Great location, one block from the bus stop, five minutes from either downtown Ketchum or to the ski hill at Warm Springs. Great for families, with a bunkroom that can sleep six. All the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, plus an additional bathroom and powder room in the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment, including a Keurig coffee maker. A high efficiency woodburning fireplace in the living room creates a warm, cozy atmosphere. There is TV with cable service in the living room and bunk room and WIFI throughout the house. A large private yard includes a year round hot tub, great for star watching. The bike trail is a block away and links to trails all the way to Hailey. Three bikes are available for use. Its the perfect getaway for 1-3 couples or families.

Great stay near Sun Valley

We stayed in John's place for our annual boys' ski weekend and we really enjoyed our time. The house is clean and well-organized. John communicated well and made us feel like he cared about our stay. If I ever find myself back in Ketchum, I will stay here again.

Perfect House for a Sun Valley Family Trip

We stayed here the week before Christmas and John was so kind in getting us in last minute. Everything was perfectly clean, well appointed, with very thoughtful details throughout. There was literally nothing that we needed that this house didn't have - they went above and beyond with what they provided. There was even a boot warmer in the garage! And wood for the amazing fireplace that kept us cozy the whole time. The hot tub and the view were spectacular, and the beds were comfortable. We can't say enough good things about our stay - none of us wanted to leave! Also, the house was a great spot for families - we have an almost 3 year old and a 6 year old, and they loved their cozy bunk room. We will definitely stay here again!

A slice of paradise in the mountains

John and Grace’s property exceeded expectations. We had a group of ~10 (3 couples and 4 other people) in town in Sun Valley for a friend’s wedding. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The property was spacious, clean and in a great neighborhood. Walking to town (Ketchum) is possible but also a very short drive. Every room was clean, bathrooms were stocked, and the outdoor space is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this property for larger families or a group of friends. John and Grace were also very responsive and we had a smooth check-in process.

Heaven in Ketchum

Our stay at this property was stupendous! The house is huge (bathrooms in abundance!), very well maintained and delightfully decorated. Ketchum is a short ride away, so easily accessible. The yard is beautiful. Loved loved loved this home!

Warm Springs Chateau

Comfortable Ketchum residents in an adorable neighborhood. Neighbors are all very friendly. Peaceful setting to visit with large family in the inviting family room. Easy to use kitchen that has everything you need to finish off every home cooked meal. Large lush backyard has a hot tub and hammock, great during summer stay. Every bedroom has it own full bathroom, that is very helpful when traveling with teenagers. Camping out

If you reserve this home bring everything with you but your kitchen table! It’s like camping! Very old cooking pans, old dishes and old spices left in the kitchen. The cooking sheets have no sides. Just a flat tray to cook on. When your food drips in the oven the owner wants to charge you even though he purchased the sideless baking trays, and leaves you nothing to clean with. We had to purchase dishwashing pods, cleaning spray, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. If you want a fire in the fire place bring a lighter cause one is not provided. The house itself is in need of a full update. Original 80s everything including blankets. Wallpaper on the ceilings. We were a party of 12 and the owner watches the front door cameras and says we had more people. Weird camping experience! But we all Loved Sun Valley!!

Amazing Ketchum Cabin!

What a FANTASTIC cabin to stay in for our son's Ketchum wedding! This was a great gathering place for close friend's and family during the wedding events downtime. The groom and his guys were able to get ready the morning of the big event, and the backyard offered beautiful backgrounds for pictures. This cabin offers everything needed for a very comfortable and fun stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with many spices, coffee, basic cooking essentials and also aluminum foil and ziplock bags. The utensils and cooking implements are more than adequate. While we were too busy doing wedding things, there were also games inside as well as a garage full of outdoor things (snow toys, golf clubs, various balls, etc.) to entertain all ages. The hot tub was super clean and amazing to relax in after the hectic and busy wedding events. The beds and bedding are exceptional! I honestly can't remember the last time I have slept so soundly! John and Grace are very gracious hosts too. They were extremely accommodating of our needs and called us the day after we checked in just to make sure everything was perfect. In fact, it was! I HIGHLY recommend staying at this beautiful Ketchum cabin! We hope to be back again soon when we'll have more time to explore everything that the Sun Valley area has to offer!

Fun family vacation home

This property was perfect for our entire family! We spent quality time together sharing meals on the large outdoor deck, playing croquet in spacious private yard, enjoying hiking, shopping, and swimming in nearby river. John, our host was100% available and provided quick response to our questions. We highly recommend this home!

Perfect for 3-generation group of 8

You should book this house. For a week in July, we had two 75 year olds, two 45+ year olds, and 4 kids between 12 and 18. Cannot imagine a better place for a crew that size. The 4 kids had a blast in the bunk room, which in theory could have slept 2 more on the trundle beds. We ended up not even using one of the bedrooms. Common areas were huge. Owners stocked house with great books about the area. We spent many afternoons and evenings in the spacious and shady back yard and on the porch — including one entire day when we were worn out and just needed to chill and hung out at the house reading, playing badminton and croquet, etc. All rooms were comfortable and well stocked with pretty much anything we would have wanted. Having never visited the area before, I was worried that the house would be far away from the town and the resort. Neither was a problem, at all. Sun Valley and Ketchum are small, and simple to get around. We had a car., which made things simple, but it was an easy walk to town as well, less than a mile. The (excellent) bike path is just a couple of blocks from the house,, accessible by foot or one of the three bikes the owners provide. Owners were proactive, reaching out when we arrived and quick to respond when questions arose. And compared to rates elsewhere, this place was a steal. Basically, if you are looking for a house for a big group over a week or more in the summer, stop looking. This is the one you want.

Just what we needed for our special weekend in the valley

John and Grace’s home was absolutely spectacular! From the communication months before the weekend, all the way up to day of checkout, they were extremely helpful. The house was clean, comfortable, and super homey. It was for myself and all of my bridesmaids and everyone had a comfortable bed, space to relax, and the backyard was the perfect place to hang out with all of us. Fantastic Stay In Ketchum

This was the first time in 40+ years that we included our spouses in our "guys" annual ski trip. John and Grace's home in Ketchum was perfect for our group of 7. Their home is situated in a very nice neighborhood located close to town, the ski areas and a great area for walking also. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, the hot tub and the grill outside on the deck. The home was very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. John and Grace worked with us to insure that all of our needs were met. We highly recommend staying here.

Gathering to Ski

Great location near Bald Mountain, with beautiful house, wonderful hot tub, and all the necessities. Our family gathered to ski and enjoy camaraderie. There were enough rooms/baths in this large house, with a nice, cozy feel. We enjoyed the Western and Bavarian/Tyrolian decor.

Great location for skiers. Short (3-4 min) walk to free bus, then 5 min bus ride to Warm Springs base. House was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and functional. Nice hot tub. Garage access and boot warming cabinets were great. House manager was extremely helpful in tracking and delivering advance luggage shipment that FedEx fumbled. The high tech thermostats had a mind of their own but worked adequately. Some of the bedroom decor is "period" but not to the extent of being a distraction.

The house is excellent. Very clean, well stocked with kitchen items and games. The owners were great, very helpful and timely with their responses. Close enough to walk downtown, yet you have a very private and big yard. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. We’ll stocked house and great big yard to enjoy long summer evenings.

Enjoyed our stay. Property is a bit older so wear and tear to be expected. But overall well maintained and cared for. Our kids loved it and we had plenty of room to invite friends to come visit for dinner on the patio. Nice being so close to town.

Perfect family home

We were in town for a family wedding and this house was perfect! It was clean, comfortable and a great location. Grace and John were welcoming and available if we needed them. Our kids had a great time in the bunk room, hot tub (very clean) and large backyard. The bedrooms were comfortable and all had their own bathrooms. We highly recommend this home!

Great Family Retreat

What a great home and property for our annual family retreat in Sun Valley. The owners were super communicative with us, bathrooms in each bedroom was a real plus. Also the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and the hot tub. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We loved staying there and look forward to staying again in the future.

Fun in the Sun ....Valley

The location is easy walking or biking into town or a trail systems. Surprised to see the yard type recreation games in garage. Not to mention 3 road bikes, hiking poles, snow shoes. Obvious owners are very interested in guests having a fun filled vacation. Don't see those amenities in most VRBOs. Very considerate couple
