Puerto Vallarta is a charming seaside town on the western coast of Mexico. The vibrant colors of ocean, sky, flowering shrubs, and trees abound. Brightly colored flowers surround the Spanish style buildings with their characteristic red roofs. Because of the tropical climate, the living in Puerto Vallarta is a blend of outdoors and in.

Music abounds in Puerto Vallarta. One can find mariachis and other musicians just about everywhere in clubs, restaurants or by the beach. The town is safe for strolling, both day and night. On Sunday nights you can join the families of Puerto Vallarta as they enjoy walking along the Malecon or as they listen to a band concert in the town square.

Departing every day from the Marina are a variety of boat trips. You can go to Yelapa, a small fishing village south of Puerto Vallarta which can only be reached by water, or join the folks on the schooner Maragalante for a dinner cruise and fireworks or snorkel the waters around the Mariettas Islands. Or you just might choose to sit on your deck, overlooking the Bahia de Banderas and do nothing but read and relax. For the sports minded there is golf, tennis, and horseback riding, as well as other activities.

You can enjoy all of this and more from our beachfront condominium at the Villas Vista del Sol, on the southern end of old town Puerto Vallarta. It is located near the river Cuale and within walking distance of a food market, the Malecon, many find restaurants, craft shops, and art galleries.

Our condominium integrates outside and in with its flower theme. It is light, airy and cheerful; the perfect spot for a relaxing and fun vacation. There are two bedrooms, two full baths, a completely outfitted kitchen, dining room, living room with TV and deck. Maid service is provided every day but Sunday. Laundry facilities are available on a reservation basis. The roof holds a good sized pool, lounge chairs, and a covered area in which to gather when the sun is particularly hot.

Sunsets in Puerto Vallarta are a changing palette which you can view from the deck or the rooftop pool while relaxing with refreshments, companions or family. Enjoy!

Great stay for the price

Absolutely loved this place. The unit was outdated but the price reflected Appropriately. The location was perfect and the people watching as well as the ocean view were perfect! Most of the items in the condo are old but again, it is priced appropriately. Owner is very responsive!

Tropical beach front rental

We loved our stay at this condominium. So close to restaurants, shops and activities. Even though it is right above a restaurant, it was very quiet. Would definitely return!

Great Location Center of Everything

We enjoyed the location and area we stayed in. The building was secure and staff outstanding. However, the furniture and unit is in need of a deep cleaning and replacement of furniture. Very uncomfortable couches and beds. Although we don't spend a lot of time inside when visiting, we do enjoy being able to relax inside the place we stay. For the money we have stayed in better places and while I would stay in this building again, not sufe this exact unit without some interior changes.

Love It!

We spent a year in PV 17 years ago, and have been coming back nearly every year since. We’ve stayed in several different condos, and this is now our favorite. Comfortable, colorful, and an unbeatable location right on the beach. Great communication with Eskil and terrific staff. Don’t hesitate to book if it’s available!

Location, location, location!

Vista De Sol is nestled right in the heart of many restaurants and shops. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our unit faced the beach ---loved sleeping to the sound of the surf. It's well furnished and decorated in a traditional Mexican style. Being only on the 2nd floor and right above a restaurant does make it somewhat noisy, but it's quiet after dark. The rooftop pool area is very large, allowing everyone to spread out. The pool closed April 9th for repair, they said for possibly two months.

Perfect location for our family vacation

We were very comfortable in this condo. It had everything we needed, and the location was great. The front desk downstairs made check in and check out effortless. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Location is everything

Absolute paradise. The balcony sits right on the heart of the malecon so prople watching was a nightly activities. The Sea Monkey just steps from the condo had amazing food. EVERYONE was incredibly friendly. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Great place to stay

Great Find

We found this unit while scrambling after a VRBO debacle. Eskil was extremely responsive and flexible. The location is top-notch. The building is quiet and the beds are comfy. It’s a great find and we will definitely return!

Beautiful waterfront condo

I've been coming to PV for the past 15 years and this is the best condo ever I've stayed in. The pool on the roof is large, heated and has numerous lounge chairs available. Our balcony overlooking the Malecon and the ocean was the perfect spot to eat breakfast in the mornings. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Best condo ever!!!

Not as advertised.

While the location was excellent, the bed comfy and the staff welcoming and helpful, we were extremely disappointed to discover that the only air conditioned space was the bedroom. Because the temperature was in the high 80's (October) we could not utilize the main living area and kitchen. We recommend that the description of the property make that clear.

Great location and wonderful host & staff.

Stayed in PV for a few nights with another couple. We were looking for a basic 2BR/2BA suite in a relatively quiet beachfront location. Eskil's was perfect for us. Not noisy despite being adjacent to a waterfront walking promenade (not the main Malecon) and had an unobstructed view of amazing sunsets each night. Building was situated near the river's entry to the ocean, so not sandwiched between other properties, and was close to convenience & grocery stores plus tons of good restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Best of all, Eskil was a very responsive host and the on-site staff were excellent.

The Best

Location couldnt be better. It it is steps away from the beach, the malecon and eateries. The condo was beautiful. I went with my adult son. We both had our own bathroom and bedroom. The master bedroom faces the ocean. At night I heard the crashing of the ways. Besides all the amenities the condo had beach chairs, umbrella , binoculars and a boogie board. Beautiful sunsets from the roof. .The host replied immediately with any questions I had before we arrived. Can't wait to book this property again. Thank you Eskil

Summer getaway

We enjoyed this condo very much! Staff was extremely helpful and felt secure all the time. I would have given 5 stars, but the pool was out of order for the 10 days that we stayed there. There were alternate pools to use but quite some way from condo, which made it a little difficult with the kiddos. But other than that we had a wonderful time!

Amazing condo and even better view!

We visited this part of town for the annual gay pride festival so we expected it to be a party spot and it was for the most part but overall not too crazy. The view is great! You can see the ocean from the master bed and watch the sunset. Also overlooked the Malecón so fun people watching as well! The building has security 24/7 so we felt very safe there. The owners were easy to contact and let us check in early!! The few minor things that bring this just under a 5 is that there isn’t a deducted spot on the beach for condo tenants and the pool itself doesn’t have any shade so it’s hard to swim for any length of time. We still loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Perfect in every way

This is our 4th trip to PV Zona Romantica and this was the best condo we have rented. The kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful dishes, the bathrooms are beautifully decorated with good water pressure and the bed in the main bedroom is super comfortable. The art work in the condo is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for meals and watching the activity on the malecon. Being so close we could also hear all the festive music and entertainment but at 10 PM or was quiet and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. We never used the air-conditioner because there was always a good breeze. My husband worked and the WiFi was robust. The staff is friendly and courteous with good security. It was a treat to have daily maid service. The pool area on the roof is gorgeous. We had a fabulous stay and hope to come back.
