Genuine OBX Beachbox!

Ocean View and direct access to a beautiful, wide neighborhood beach right across the beach road. No cottages on the oceanfront to block views nor access. With no public parking in the area this beach is primarily for locals so pack your umbrella and head on over! Lifeguard stand is about 100 yards from our front yard and they patrol regularly for your safety.

Give us FIVE! We want you to feel right at home at Waterview Two and we will work to make it happen. We are looking for the highest rating possible and want you to return to our beautiful beach home year after year.

Description/Amenities

You can hear those crashing waves as you sit on the deck with your morning coffee or your evening cocktails. Direct access to the beautiful wide beach makes this fantastic semi-oceanfront home the perfect choice for couples and families of nine or less. Beach access is right across the street and there are no houses between Waterview Two and the ocean.

Sit on the front deck rockers or swing and enjoy breezes from the Atlantic Ocean! When you open the door, the beachy furnishings and decor will make you smile. In the the lovely living room/kitchen area you can relax with views of the beach from its large picture windows or dine at the large farm table. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, each decorated beautifully in beach/nautical themes. An optional fourth bedroom is downstairs along with an enclosed outdoor shower, spacious laundry room, storage and parking.

Ground Level: Parking for 4 cars, Enclosed outside shower, covered deck, access to beach just feet away across beach road with crosswalk for safety. Laundry and secure storage is on the ground floor, also covered sitting area.

Main Level: Beachy keen! Waterview Two cheery decor will keep your spirits high. Open plan kitchen and living areas with high speed internet & cable, 50" smart TV, Blu-Ray player and ocean views. Gather the family for lively breakfasts around the lazy susan dining table. Kitchen conveniences are all there with range, microwave, and fridge with icemaker. No dishpan hands! Enjoy the dishwasher.

Retire in comfort after each full vacation day. 3 Bedrooms upstairs: Master with Queen, TV and full bath, another Queen, another with full-sized bed & bunk beds, full hall bath, covered porches front and back. Watch the sun rise of the Atlantic from the front and set to the west in the back.

Features include: Central AC/Heat, Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TVs, Blu-ray play, ceiling fans in every room, and deck furniture.

Rents Saturday to Saturday.

About linens: We want your vacation to be as pleasant and convenient as possible. Linens are always a question and different owners handle it in different ways. We provide sheets and bath towels. *IF* you decide to use them, you agree to wash, fold and return them to where you found them. Otherwise there is a $100 laundry fee. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! You are welcome to bring your own linens or rent from the OBX linen companies as well.

Perfect for the family

Great cottage that is set up for our family. Location is wonderful. The deck was great for the dog to wonder and be safe. We loved the decor and everything we needed was included! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Great Time

Plenty of room for 4 adults. Comfortable. Close to most restaurants. Little bit of a hike to the beach but doable. All in all a great place to spend your vacation.

The home is super comfortable, great, well stocked kitchen and perfect front porch. You absolutely can't beat the location - 2 beach entrances across the street with no houses blocking the view/access.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Waterview II! The cottage is in a perfect location, directly across the street from the beach. You can see the sunrise from the living room! The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The dog run in the back was perfect for our 13 year old pup! There are several restaurants in close proximity, and we really enjoyed our dinner at the Black Pelican. The host was extremely helpful and the instructions were easy and clear. The beach was peaceful and enjoyable and we would love to return again!

Great Thanksgiving at the beach!

We had a wonderful time here. Solid kitchen stocked with most of the basics, all the bedrooms were nice and everything felt as advertised. All instructions were fair, clear, and easy to follow. The host was very communicative and checked in twice which was nice. Location was obviously a huge plus. Would recommend!!

Loved it! 3rd time staying!

This has become our 3rd annual vacation w our doggies. The location, dog friendliness, restaurants available in the “off season” (October) beach where we can let our doggies run & hunt sand crabs! We always have a peaceful happy time. Owners are very dog friendly w a “sandbox” back yard for doggies to poop & pee. Plan on a 4th year at this house! Great getaway place

My husband and I, our dogs and two of our friends had such a good time at this house. The backyard area is perfect for the dogs to run a little and go to the bathroom. You can’t beat the location to the beach. Right across the street with no houses in front. Very private beach location. It could have also been the time of year we went but the beach was so quiet where we were which is awesome. The contact with the owner Mark was excellent. Very fast replies and such a nice guy. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a house that is pet friendly, well maintained and close to the beach this is the place for you! ☺️

Kitty Hawk beach house

The location was perfect and the dog run worked out great for our 2 goldens. The home was super clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was much better equiped than any other beach house we've stayed in. We enjoyed this house so much and will plan to stay here again.

Perfect for our family

Waterview Two is located only steps from the beach and only minutes from not only Kitty Hawk attractions but has easy access to both north and south OBX. We loved the open layout of the front room with kitchen which opened to the large front porch with swing and a tall table and chairs. The bedrooms were more than adequate in size and had a main bedroom with a separate bathroom which was much appreciated by me and my wife. The dog friendly property has a fenced in area making it easy for late night or early morning outings. We also loved the extra hang out area by the fenced in yard with another table and chairs. The outside shower is huge and has plenty of room to store all of your beaching needs. Very large and fun laundry room as well. I would highly recommend this property as it was clean and well stocked. The check-in and out process couldn't have been easier. It felt like home right away and the communication with the owners was great. Thank you to Mark, Skip and the entire Hall family for letting me and my family share in their OBX getaway!

Dog Paradise and Location Location

This was our first Vrbo experience so my review is targeted more to first timers. We wanted a place close to the beach that could accommodate our small family of four and dog. We liked the cleanliness factor of the house plus the location literally cannot be beat, it has supermarkets, restaurants and shops mins away but also a relatively private portion of a public beach because there’s no parking near the beach access so it was overall an awesome trip. From a doggie perspective, we really appreciated his attention to detail there with a clean and sandy poop section of the backyard, including supplied poop bags. My most favorite part was wrap around upper deck all gated so I could sit on the porch and listen to waves without having to worry about my dog getting out, dog loved the free reigns of having the full deck to walk and explore. We also really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, he even has Tupperware, which is great because we found we enjoyed cooking in more than going out. Before coming, we worried about the busy road in front of the house and there are busy and quiet portions of the day, most of the time we didn’t feel like it was busy because we were at the beach during the busy times, and almost all of the cars stop at the beach access cross walk right in front of the house. Thank you Mark for a great experience, we will definitely book again!

Spring Break

good location and access to beach directly across the road. With no parking on Va. Dare Trail the beach is pretty much private to local residents only. Property does have a nice fenced in dog or pet area even though there is no gates so pets will need supervision.

Christmas Beach Getaway

3 family households (small total of 5 + the dog) came together to celebrate the holiday by escaping the madness. It was awesome! House was clean and comfortable and owners were kind and responsive. Everything was as advertised with no “surprises.” 100% positive recommendation!! You’ll love Waterview Two!!

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our start at Waterview Two! It's conveniently located so to the beach so it was nice to have quick access and be able to hear the crashing waves from the front porch! The kitchen was also fully stocked, which was very helpful for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Looking forward to returning sometime soon!

Kitty Hawk Jewel Box

This was our 2nd year vacationing at this jewel of a home on the Kitty Hawk beach. We also bring our dogs for fun runs on the beach and because even the puppies deserve a vacation! Mark is a perfect host and the property couldn't be cuter or more comfortable. We're already planning for next October. Check out the great restaurants and shopping. Grocery stores very close by if you want to cook in. We're not into fishing but saw quite a few great catches if you are. Super nice having sheets & towels on hand so we don't have to bring our own. I can't say enough good things about this home. Please check it out with your kids whether two or four legged! Thanks again Mark. Colleen & Bruce J

Amazing OBX Trip!

Property was perfect for our family and dog. Extremely clean, lots of games and great location. Beautiful views from deck and directly across from beach. We had such a great time we stayed for an extra night! We can’t say enough for Mark - he was extremely helpful and responsive and the best owner we’ve dealt with through all of our VRBO trips. Fabulous!

Loved the location, awesome outside shower. I never showered inside.the sunrise sitting on the porch drinking our coffee was amazing. Very clean but wish it came with sheets and towels, but that’s a small optical we can over look. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Coming back next year. Yay!!

My family bought Waterview Two from a friend who had been in the OBX vacation rental business for many years and was finally selling the last and favorite of her wonderful properties. When we drove in and walked up, the decision was already made. It's a playhouse in the sandbox. We love the genuine feel of Waterview Two. It's like a classic "Nag's Head" cottage where families can relax and make memories.

What makes this property unique

The greatest benefit of staying at Waterview Two is it's BIGGEST asset: The Atlantic Ocean is in view and just steps away. We front the beach road. The cottages which were once across the beach road are now gone and none will be built on those lots again. So that ocean view will always be yours at Waterview Two. And beach access is just steps away by steps or sandy path with crosswalk.

Location, location, location! Waterview Two is at MP 4-1/4 so you don't have to drive far once you cross onto the island. And though you wouldn't know it because of the quiet of our neighborhood and beach, all the fun places to visit are very handy by walking or car. Walk to Black Pelican and Hurricane Moe's and other great spots!
