Harbor House is located on the Gulf side of West Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores. This is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom 1st floor unit.
Upon entering the front door, you will find an updated kitchen with new appliances that is stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and small appliances such as a toaster and blender. There is also a stacked washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

The dining area includes a table and chairs for four plus 2 counter height stools. A coffee bar is the highlight of this area complete with a Keurig coffee maker and shelves stocked with books that are perfect beach reads.
The living room includes a sleeper sofa, recliner, and additional seating in chairs that can flex between the living room and dining room. Relax and watch TV on the new HD Smart TV. The TV stand is stocked with family friendly games that are perfect for rainy days or nights spent inside. The living room features a sliding door that leads you to the private balcony. The balcony has new polywood furniture. Enjoy your morning coffee here with a view of the water and sounds of the waves. A deck box allows for storage of your beach toys.

A small hallway off of the living room will lead you to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The master bedroom has a new king size bed and private balcony access. The master bedroom has a ceiling fan, a roomy chest for your clothes, full access to a closet, and new nightstands with a lamp. Enjoy waking up to the relaxing Gulf waves!

The second bedroom includes 2 new queen beds, a reading lamp with built-in charging port, bedside table, and ceiling fan. There is a closet in the 2nd bedroom with a hard shell cooler and miscellaneous beach gear for guest use.

The condo has new owners and has been recently painted and redecorated. The bedrooms all have Smart TVâ€™s and WiFi that can support multiple devices should anyone need to work from the beach.

The parking spaces are conveniently located beneath the condo and parking and 2 parking passes per guest will be issued at no additional cost. The condo is located on the first floor and is accessed via exterior stairs. There is a hose hookup and rinsing station under the unit. There is NO elevator. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. A short walk through the complex parking lot will lead you to the newly renovated, HEATED beachside pool and gate for private beach access. There are charcoal grills and picnic tables available for guest enjoyment.

This condo is located in a small complex of 36 units on the quiet end of West Beach Blvd. Attractions such as the Hangout, souvenir shops, and various restaurants are within walking distance. You may access these spots of interest from the condo via the beach or the bike/walking path along West Beach Blvd. There is a multi-use path along Lagoon Ave. across the street that is perfect for early morning walks, runs, or bike rides with a view. A small general store and coffee shop is conveniently located across the street for the purchase of bagged ice, snacks, etc.

Great spot!

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo! It’s a good location and was easy to find. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking- the toaster was a little tricky though. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the chairs for the beach! Def want to stay again in future!

Harbor House 25B

Nice, it was very close to the beach! and you could see the water from the balcony. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants and has a convenient store right across the street. We thought that the couch and living room rug need to be shampooed, it was hard to regulate temperature in shower, the bed was very comfortable though .

Great location, stocked fairly well, nice master bed, great beach, parking convenient. The minus, the couch cushions have seen their day. Might think about a new one! The beach key fob was not user friendly. Had to try several times before it opened. Others had problems too. Would rent again!

Overall good stay

It rained REALLY hard and sideways to the point it wet the keypad on the door and we were unable to lock it so we couldn’t leave. After about 3 tries, we finally got someone on the phone and he helped us get the master key to lock/unlock the door. The keypad worked once it dried out but we hung on to the key until check out. The bathtub faucet ended up coming off the day before we left. But it was still useable. Overall, great place!

Not the cleanest..

The location was awesome, the walk to the beach was short and easy. The place was really gross on the inside..the bathtub and toilet were covered in hairs upon arrival. The floors were very sandy and felt as if they hadn't been swept. There was a car air freshner hanging on the air vent, bandaids on the door knobs (I guess so the doors wouldnt lock?) dirty shower liner and bath tub was filled with soap scum. The air conditioner never got below 71, it wasnt hot but definitely not as cool as we would've liked. Pretty sure the cleaning lady made the beds and took a nap because it was not clean. Overall, it was an ok experience, but definitely needs help in the housekeeping department. I feel like my "cleaning fee" was a total scam.

Perfect stay!

Easy pickup of the key from realty office. Clean & comfy beds! Easy parking under unit. Short walk to pool & beach. Peekaboo view of the ocean. It was a perfect stay for our family. Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. Bring extra tp, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwashing/laundry pods. There were also beach toys available on the balcony. We had a great stay & will do it again:)

Adorable Beach Condo

This adorable and homey condo was perfect for our week-long stay in Gulf Shores. The listing is totally accurate. It had everything we needed. You can see the gulf from the deck. It’s not an amazing view, but it allowed us to see how calm or wavy the water was. Just walk through the parking lot and you’re at the pool or beach. It’s also a short walk to shops and restaurants. We had an amazing vacation and hope to return in the future!

Good location, some issues to address.

Dirty quilts in the closet. Extra pillows had no cases. No lamps would light. Dryer lint catcher needs replacing. Found someone else's toothbrush on the bathroom floor. Someone's Jean's in the kitchen cabinet. Good location, beds we used were clean. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, plates etc. Bathtub/shower clean.

June week stay Saturday-Thursday 2022

Single dad with 16yr old daughter and 8 yr old son. We all loved it. Place was clean, closet had cooler and wave boards, I left a sand shovel, fish net on telescopic wand and beach ring toss game to add to the collection.. pool was very nice to have and it was enjoyed daily after swimming in the ocean. Correct description. The beach and condo was immediate access, didn't have to walk across a street or anything. There was a general store across the street called Pier 33, you could get anything in there and a small coffee shop was above it. A few blocks away was a place called "The hangout" teens, adults and kids will enjoy it. My daughter did nightly. I mainly chilled on the beach every day with my son....ocean waves were just right....fun like a wave pool. Then we'd chill in the pool til sunset. 6a ocean walk and beach til 5p 5p pool til 7p....came in the condo to shower change go eat or stay in and cook. We loved our vacation. Thank you

It had all the things I needed. Was a great place. The garbage disposal didn't work, but all was good. Will stay here again in the future!

Perfect Weekend at the Beach!

Property was very nice and was perfect for out weekend. We were in town for a wedding and it was nice to have the beach available in our spare time. The property had everything we needed, The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking and dining. The bedrooms were much larger than we expected and we had a nice beach view from the deck.

Great location. The inside wasn’t as clean as one would like. For the high cleaning fee it should be spotless. Beds were not comfortable but it’s a beach vacation so everyone was tired they crashed. The air conditioner worked great in bedrooms but living room area was always hot and made sleeping for the kids not great. The oven didn’t work which would of been nice to know before we ordered groceries and no one every responded to attempts of finding out why it didn’t work. So food when to waste that we couldn’t cook. I would stay again if no other options but for the cost of stay would of been nice to have better communication with owner and working appliances.

Great location - But Beware

We loved the proximity of the condo to the beach and the nightly rate. We had easy access to the beach. However, there were several problems that we encountered during our stay. The most significant issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived. If we had been easily able to contact the host/property manager and had the problem resolved quickly, our overall rating would be higher. However, we arrived on Sunday evening and weren’t able to speak to anyone who could help us until Wednesday afternoon. Prior to that, we contacted the office management (that number was left on a laminated card in the unit above the air conditioner controls; however, when we called the number, the people who answered said they did not manage the property), the property management company via the VRBO app (to which we never received a written reply) and VRBO customer service themselves three times (called twice, messages through chat platform once). VRBO contacted the property management office for us, and we finally received a call from someone on Wednesday afternoon stating that the compressor needed to be replaced. Unfortunately they wouldn’t get the compressor until Thursday. Meanwhile, the temperature in the condo rose as high as 82. We recognize that the lack of having a compressor in stock is not the problem of the host or property manager. However, the only option they gave us was to leave early. No offer to place us in a hotel, no offer of a different unit, no offer of a temporary cooling unit to be brought to our condo. The AC final began working when we returned to our condo on Thursday at 10pm. We left on Friday by 10. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning was a huge issue that wasn’t resolved in a timely manner. Thankfully the property management offered is a partial refund for the inconvenience, but that didn’t make the other days more enjoyable for us. On top of all of that, there were other issues. When we arrived, the floor was already sandy as though it hadn’t been vacuumed or moped after the last guests. The only lights in the kitchen and bathrooms are heated lights which had us melting when the temperature in the unit was already at 82. The guest room smelled atrocious - like mildew. We found various objects left behind by previous tenants (plastic straw, candy, plastic fingernail, rubber band for braces) which had us questioning the cleanliness of everything else in the condo.

Weekend Trip

The location was great. Fees were outrageous total almost the cost of a 4 night stay doubling the price. None of the beds slept well, pillows were extremely flat with no extra clean pillows or linens. It would have been nice since we were traveling with kids to have accessible to some beach toys, chairs and umbrella.
