‘Modern in the Poconos’ is a Premium Luxury Townhome. It is located on the top row of the Village at Camelback community, which is located on the top of Camelback Mountain.
It is half of a duplex in the Village at Camelback, and extremely private on the top. The community borders the Camelback Ski slopes and Camelbeach.
‘Modern in the Poconos’ is colorful inside, and beautifully furnished with a Modern Mountain Décor. ‘Modern in the Poconos’ has 4 levels, with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Each bedroom, living room and family room have a flat-screen Smart tv, with cable channels, Netflix and so on. Three bedrooms have a king-sized bed, and one bedroom has two twin beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the family room that sleeps 2. Each of the four bathrooms have a shower/tub, and a hair dryer is available in each bathroom.
The home was recently, completely remodeled, and everything is brand new. It comes fully furnished with upgrades including: Smart TVs, memory foam mattresses, Internet access, Wifi, fireplace, heater/AC, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, Keurig, coffee pot, toaster oven, blender, and microwave. The home includes linens, sheets, and towels, as well as dishes, pots and pans, and silverware.
There are three decks. The back decks have views of the valley ringed by other mountains. It is said on a clear day you can see 85 miles, to the Catskill Mountains in New York and to the east, the High Point monument in New Jersey. The front deck is furnished with a picnic table, chairs and a gas grill.
Camelback Mountain Resort hosts the largest ski slope in the Poconos. In the winter, skiing and snowtubing are just next door. Snowtubers have a new lodge to warm up in and enjoy some hot chocolate.
Camelbeach Waterpark borders the complex at the bottom of the hill. You will pass Camelbeach as you drive up the mountain to the home. The park is open all summer. It offers water slides, a lazy river, water rides, tubes, pools, picnic areas, and cabanas.
In spring, summer, and fall, Camelback Mountain Adventures includes a track ride down the mountain, and a ropes course. There is a pair of zip lines next to each other, so you can fly down the mountain next to your friend. Take the ski lift up and down the mountain to enjoy the blossoms in the spring and the colorful leaves in the fall.
Even though the community borders the ski slopes and Camelbeach, you will probably want to drive to each of these locations. From the entrance of the complex to the entrance of Camelback Ski or Camelbeach is about a quarter mile by car.
The Pocono Mountains have been a vacation area for many years, so it offers many additional activities, such as, trout fishing, shooting, golfing, horseback riding, sky-diving, ATV rentals, and hiking / biking trails. In the summer the nearby Delaware River invites you to go white-water rafting, canoeing, and picnicking.
If you feel like visiting New York City for the day, there is a bus terminal in nearby Mt. Pocono and another in Marshall’s Creek. There is a full schedule of buses going to the City and returning every day. It takes about an hour and half each way. You can enjoy a Broadway show, Times Square, shopping, museums, and fine dining in the City. Then, escape the noise and congestion, and return to the peace and quiet of your Pocono retreat.
