Large home with exquisite modern furniture and a great outdoor playground for the kids. Nestled in the foothills of the Hyalite Canyon, enjoy fantastic views of the entire valley, facing the Bridger Mountain Range.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Black Bear Ranch is a large five bedroom, four and a half bath home that enjoys a prime location south of Bozeman with fantastic mountain views, lots of peace and quiet, and hiking nearby in Hyalite Canyon. The home sleeps 14 people and with two family rooms, there is plenty of indoor space. The backyard will be a favorite spot for your group – gas grill, outdoor dining table, outdoor seating arrangement, a hot tub, and a fully- equipped playground for the kids. There is also a pool table in the downstairs family room!

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: A large master bedroom with a king sized bed is on the main floor with a huge adjoining bathroom. The master bathroom has his and hers sinks, a walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and a walk-in closet. Above the garage is a second master suite with a king bed, day bed, and one sleeper sofa that can sleep one person if needed. On the main floor, a half-bath in the hall serves the kitchen and living areas. Up a half a flight of stairs on the other side of the house are two more bedrooms with queen beds. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom with two sinks and a stall shower. Down a half a flight of stairs is a queen bedroom and a small den/office space. These two rooms share a bath with a vanity sink and a tub/shower. Also on this lower level is a second living room which has a sofa that sleeps and TV.

KITCHEN: This fully equipped and well-designed kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and amenities, high-end countertops, and custom cabinetry. A "Wolf" six-burner gas range, large side-by-side fridge, microwave, and dishwasher will please the chef in your group as well as the designated clean up crew. There is a nice selection of high quality cookware and serving ware as well. The cook can chat with the family at the bar, which seats four, and there is a nice large pantry to store the groceries. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and has a modern dining table with 12 chairs, plenty of space for the entire group.

LIVING ROOM: The kitchen opens up into the living room with a stacked stone fireplace, surrounded by cozy sofas and chairs, a TV with Roku, and a nice selection of games for the family to enjoy. There is a second entertainment room downstairs with a flat screen television, Roku TV, and a seating area with the sleeper sofa.

SETTING: A covered porch is off the living room – it overlooks the Gallatin Valley and features Loll Adirondack furniture. Doors from the master bedroom and the kitchen open up to the back patio. This fabulous space has an outdoor dining table that seats 6 people, a cushioned seating arrangement, and a hot tub! A nice gas grill allows for meal preparation outdoors, while you enjoy a glass of wine and the comfortable summer evening temperatures of Southwest Montana. The kids will love the playground with its slide, swings, forts and sand box with big tire and toys. The views of the Bridger Mountains across the valley are spectacular too.

AIRPORT: Downtown Bozeman is just six miles and it’s about fourteen miles to Bozeman's airport.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails in the Leverich Canyon, fishing on the Gallatin River is just thirty minutes away. The stunning Hyalite Reservoir Recreation Area in the Gallatin National Forest is a short drive away. Guests can also spend time skiing at nearby Bridger Bowl, which is about 20 miles from the home. Horseback riding, rafting, golfing, tours of Yellowstone National Park and everything that the town of Bozeman has to offer!
