Wonderful Trip

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with my sweet family. The home was spacious, it was clean and very well decorated. The unit had everything we needed and more for the week. The people that lived at the other units were just delightful and we enjoyed getting to know them as well, it certainly felt like home for the week. It’s a short walk to the beach. The only drawback was that we were given the wrong code upon entry, but we finally got that handled. Thank you again for the wonderful memories, we hope to visit again soon.

Family surprise

The condo was spotless. Parents used to own at Waters Edge so this was a holiday/ 90th birthday surprise for my mom. Had beautiful weather. Island still holds its charm. Great spot to relax and enjoy life.

Kudos to Vacasa Management

When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working. Things happen, right! Unfortunately it was about 11:00 PM and they were unable to send some one that evening. However, we were contacted first thing the next morning. They sent a technician out who was unable to fix it. They sent another HVAC specialist later in the day who was able to fix it. They also sent a portable AC unit over just in case something went wrong. They provided regular communication throughout the process and were diligent with getting it repaired. The rest of the week was wonderful. The unit is very nice and clean, with high-end cabinets, fixtures, and comfortable beds and furniture. Despite the minor glitch at the beginning of the week, we were very pleased with our stay.

Summer vacation

The condo was great! The location was fantastic! The beds were comfortable and the open floor plan was nice. They need to stock more bath towels for 6 people and kitchen hand towels. Also should supply 6 beach towels not 4. Wish there was a washer dryer in unit instead of shared but would stay again!! We have a fantastic and Nichole with the local Vacasa was extremely helpful and easy to work with.

Big space

It was super spacious and updated. There was plenty of room for my family to spread out and feel like home and not cramped in a tiny hotel room. The only thing that was irritating was we weren’t given the pool gate code and wasn’t able to use the elevator to get to and from the pool/ beach. We had to use the stairs which would have been fine except I have a special needs son and he hates stairs.

Amazing condo

This is a beautiful condo with an amazing ocean view. Beautifully decorated. Beds have great mattresses. Right on the beach in an area that is not crowded. Walking distance to several restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo.

The condo was beautiful and spotless. I loved the beachy vibe throughout, the decor was tastefully done. Everywhere you looked there was a beach vibe, right down to the silverware. All of the furnishings were nice and comfortable. Plenty of storage, closets, counter space etc. we wanted for nothing, everything was there that we needed. The beach was a short walk and it was lovely as well. The only complaint was that the pool had algae in it, nothing to do with the oweners of this complex. I believe somone complained and the pool Company came and worked on the issue, but didn't resolve it. Personally, I would get a new Pool Company, I only saw them once the entire week we were there. I have a pool and I attend to it daily. But all and all our stay was a 10. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us, I would love to return.

Lovely stay

Very cozy, felt like home. Quick response and our needs were met. The view of the beach from the balcony is so beautiful. The only negative was the laundry setup. There’s one shared, coin operated washer and dryer on the floor and when I went to check it out there were rugs being washed in it. Definitely didn’t use it. We packed enough anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. Great stay overall, I definitely recommend!

Water’s edge unit 208 S

Our experience at unit 208 s was absolutely wonderful. The unit has everything you need for week long stay or more. The nearness and privacy to the beach is absolutely the best attribute of the building. The pool was also a plus for the children and for adults too. Very well maintained The check in process was a mess. After picking the keys from Vacasa after hours lockbox. We headed to the building with only two keys for the unit but not to enter into the building. We were given directions to also retrieve a set of keys for the unit from a lockbox in the parking lot and for our luck we could not open it for two hours Nor enter into the building until a kind women who was cleaning a unit in the building gave us access to the building . There were like 20 lock hoses all together and TWO on them with number 208s. We could not open one for two hours and did not realized there was another lockbox as well. Apparently one got damaged and they put other one much newer which did indeed open. The worst part was that we were calling Vacasa From 4 phones for help during this incident during check in and we could get on hold by anyone since there were longer waiting time than expected. Vacasa recorded message while waiting to be helped kept saying sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately no response from them for over 1 hour and how frustrating that can be. Only after getting in the unit 2 hours later, saw a paper with Vacasa after ours emergency and called to explained what have happened to us and they responded within 2 minutes. But that phone number was not giving to us in any of the emails received. With a family of three kids it was frustrating not being able to get a hold of Vacasa after following all the prompts for trouble checking in .

Beautiful!

Gorgeous Unit!

POSITIVES: Wonderful week at the beach in this beautiful unit at Water's Edge. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the unit. The property is very pretty and perfectly located. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes, glasses and silverware. The veranda provides a nice view of the ocean and we used it daily, and the unit sits almost directly over the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds pretty comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The unit has obviously been recently updated and is beautiful. NEGATIVES: We did have some issues, however. Construction caused problems with parking. The water was turned off in the entire building without notice one day (I was actually IN the shower when this occurred) and it was a few hours before it was turned back on. Again due to construction. The construction was loud if you were inside (and one of our daughters was sick a couple of days, so this was uncomfortable for her). The pool was closed for two days; again without notice. There is no washer & dryer in the unit, but one on the same floor -- ONE washer and ONE dryer for ALL of the units on that floor. One towel supplied per person (6 total), which is NOT enough, especially if you have to share 1 w/d with everyone on the floor. We ended up having to throw out food because we woke up on morning #2 with sugar ants in our closed food boxes, sugar ants crawling up the walls in the kitchen AND in the guest bedroom. (There was no food in the guest bedroom and the kitchen was clean and the food was closed up.) There are NO area rugs in the unit, except at the couch area, which means your feet are filthy, constantly. I would have LOVED a bedside area rug. That would have been heaven. The kitchen is not well organized and it is very difficult to find anything or if the unit has something you need. I don't know if this is a housekeeping issue or an owner issue. I tend to think it's lazy housekeeping. All that being said, HOWEVER, the folks at Vacasa were very nice, the maintenance guy was so kind, the property is very pretty and the unit is gorgeous -- and I would stay there again.

Gorgeous Unit

This is a beautiful 2/2 condo in Water's Edge where we stayed with our family for a week. POSITIVES: The property landscape is well-maintained and the unit is recently updated, spacious and clean. There is a view of the ocean from the veranda overlooking the pool, which we enjoyed daily. The beds are pretty comfortable; the bathrooms have plenty of room and there is ample closet space. There is a queen Murphy Bed in the front room and there are linens provided for that. The kitchen is stocked with pretty dishes and glassware, utensils, and cookware, along with other appliances you may need. They provided 3 beach towels for our use. Use of the chairs on the beach was nice and easy. We had a visitor one day who found guest parking easy to get to across the street by the tennis courts. (I had been worried about that, but it was fine). The staff at Vacasa are very nice and easy to work with, and were tried to help with every situation that came up. NEGATIVES: There are no area rugs in the unit, except for under the coffee table. While I understand why there are no rugs (sand), it would be great to step onto a bedside rug when getting into and out of bed because of all of the sand and dirt that inadvertently gets tracked into the unit. Our feet were constantly dirty. So, we used towels at the bedside, which meant we didn't have enough towels to bathe, which meant we had to buy towels for the bath (we had beach towels). We had parking issues due to construction in the condo next to us. This caused a lot of confusion the day we checked in (Saturday) and we didn't get an answer until the Monday evening or Tuesday after. The construction was also very noisy if you were in the unit during the day for any reason (naps, eating, etc). The construction caused further issues when the water to the building was shut off without notice early in the morning -- and I happened to be in the shower when this occurred! NOT a good situation. We couldn't use the bathroom, brush our teeth, etc., for several hours before it was turned back on. We had to leave the condo to find a place to go to use a bathroom, wash off, brush our teeth. It wasn't good. Couldn't use the pool to wash off because it was closed -- for 2 days. We had zero room to store food in the unit because every single cabinet had junk in it; it appears that either it's an organizational problem. Not sure if this is the owner's fault or lazy housekeeping. I started to try to organize and then realized it's not my job to organize the condo where I am paying to stay for vacation. We had to keep our food on a 2' area of counter space (kind of a wet bar area) or in the fridge. We had sugar ants on day 2 that had crawled into two CLOSED boxes of donuts as well as crawling up the wall of the guest bedroom by the door frame. Maintenance took care of that. The toys, floats, etc. down by the pool area are pretty gross -- as is the garbage cans that are kept down there. They smell. Maybe the pool toys should be kept where they can dry off better and someone should maintain that area daily. Just kind of yucky. All that being said, though, the unit is GORGEOUS, and if we come back to the area (we are native Floridians), we will want to stay in that unit again!
