Enjoyed our time at this property. The was a new update we weren't aware of---instead of 2 twin beds in bedroom #2, it was replaced by a queen bed. Great stay overall.

We got in late, but check in was super easy with the lock box. Very comfortable, cute 60's/grandma vibe. Had everything we needed. Super comfy bed and pillows. A little close to the road but otherwise perfect for what my best friend and I needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back again. Loved it! Thank you so much!!!
Cute cabin that fits the description. All of the primary amenities needed. Especially grateful for the complimentary coffee. There is convenient parking right outside the front door.
Cabin is very close to the main road so you constantly hear cars zooming by. Two other cabins are on the same lot so all three cabins are close to each other. I prefer isolation so I was disappointed that we were so close to the other cabins (10 step walk) and the main highway.
Walk into town is .8 miles from the cabin. Walking along the main road can be scary since cars drive by fast and there is no sidewalk. So we drove into town.
Don’t plan on sneaking out of the house. The creaky floors will bust you.
Very comfortable and owners are very attentive, personable and responsive if there are any issues. Pride of ownership and sincere desire for their guests experience is refreshing. We’ll be back again!
Cute wood paneled cabin with a great outdoor deck area. About a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive into town. Stayed comfortable inside the cabin during some hotter than average days, even without a/c. Well-provisioned kitchen. Would have liked to have had a screen door on the back /kitchen deck, but very comfortable and rustic.
Cabin was located close to town but we still enjoyed the outdoor feeling, a blue sky and sunshine daily.
Cabin does need some upgrades (bathroom sink was not draining water during our stay, toilet was noisy after flushing). Cabin was well furnished with kitchen items, towels, lots of bedding. Overall a nice experience for our two day stay.
This is a classic knotty pine mountain cabin. There were some things that could be replaced or repaired throughout, but we were able to over look that. The kitchen was missing a number of basic tools we needed to prepare meals and we improvised or bought what we needed ( Cheese grater, storage containers or plastic wrap for leftovers) Pans were old and difficult to clean. We planned to prepare all our meals and not eat out, so this was a disappointment. But we made do. Over all..the snow fell and we were cozy and comfy in this cabin and it was a good time in Idyllwild.
Cute, clean and cozy cabin. Had everything we needed. Nice combination of rustic/historic setting and modern conveniences. Will recommend to family and friends.

Parking was difficult. Must provide your own wood for fireplace but plenty to be had in the area for cheap.
The cabin is awesome! Great for a small family that just wants some no thrills, no frills peace and quiet! Everything worked, except the toilet is a bit tricky with the handle. Loved it very much!!!
Wonderful and relaxing! Fit my husband and I. And my four year daughter, baby and two dogs. My daughter loved the twin bed and channels for tv. Very close to town and kitchen to cook in and eat in. Thank you!
Beautiful little cabin among the trees, knotty pine paneling and ceilings, cozy fireplace and furnishings, nice neighborhood only a mile from the village.
My family had a blast staying at this cabin. Easy to find and has everything you need for a family vacation away from the city. Highly recommended.

Why they chose this property
As a realtor I've seen a lot of homes on the mountain. This property stood out the minute I saw it. It's from an era long gone. My first thought was Goldilocks and 3 cabins in the woods! I was so excited and couldn't wait to start my projects to make this place beautiful. I wanted to create the warm cabin feel and invite my guests to enjoy old Idyllwild charm. Situated in a nice area but close to town. The home is new to VRBO as of June 2018.
What makes this property unique
Gorgeous hardwood floors and cedar walls/ceilings. My favorite thing is the pocket windows in the living room and the rock fireplace. The home is roomy and comfortable.
