The accomodation is very central. We were able to walk everywhere. It’s quirky and has great character. Spacious to enable you to spread out. Washing machine on the balcony which was very useful. Local bar TSBAR which you can see when you look out the window does fabulous drinks and the guy who runs it Marco is a character and looked after us. Warm welcome on arrival. Perfect for the 5 days we stayed in Rome

An amazing property. We loved it. My family and I were welcomed to the property and shown around. Special touches like walnuts (that were delicious), lollies, toiletries and kitchen supplies made our stay extra enjoyable. The location is the best, so much to do and see right on the doorstep. My family and I walked to every big attraction. We loved it.
Large apartment from where you can walk to main sites. The decor is quirky, with Nick knacks everywhere you look. Air conditioning only in the bedroom but there are fans in the kitchen and lounge. Small shower and unfortunately, part of the shower was broken so it wasn't possible to turn off the wall jets which squirt out at you which was not very pleasant.
What a wonderful start to our Italian holiday! Such a beautiful apartment, in a great location, with everything we could ask for in a private apartment in the centre of Rome. Having our own entrance was amazing, no neighbours to share.
The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the sheets were clean, and the fridge was cold. The apartment even had a washing machine to do a quick load before we left.
Leaving the windows and doors open allowed for a wonderful breeze, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. So blessed to have found this gem, thank you so much for allowing us to stay and enjoy!
We stayed three nights in this location and found it to be a wonderful respite at the end of long days of sporting Rome. The location was convenient and safe with a welcoming atmosphere that felt almost like home (if we were lucky enough to have an Italian home). The accommodations weren’t luxurious but were comfortable and good value for the cost. Fabio was easy to communicate, ensured our accommodations were comfortable, and provided helpful recommendations for local eateries. If you are looking for a modest apartment in a safe and accessible neighborhood within convenient walking distance of Rome’s many attractions, I highly recommend this property.
On the positive side this is a large comfortable apartment with a lot of character (old wood ceilings, some antique furniture, a big library...), an adequate kitchen and nice bathroom. A convenient location within walking distance of several main monuments and of buses, trams and taxis. On the other side, the kitchen utensils could be updated: very few mugs, cups, teaspoons … and the pots and pans are are old and of poor quality. The downside to our stay in this apartment was that it was cold. As the owners explained, municipal (?) regulations limit the temperature in rented tourist apartments to 19-20ºC and the heating to 10 hours a day. As the A/C unit in the bedroom and the radiators in the rest of the apartment are set at these limits and the temperature never went below 20º, the heating never went on and we wore our anoraks throughout our stay, possibly due as well to a damp atmosphere. The owners made a consession for our last day by allowing us to increase the temperature of the A/C heater, but we were unable to turn off the timer. This concession begged the question: why exempt A/C units from the rules and not radiators? And others: are these limits applicable only to tourist apartments or to hotels too; or indeed, to all Roman houses? We doubt it. One more note for the unaware tourist: on arrival we had to pay in cash a 50 tourist tax (5 /day x 2 persons). This tax was not anounced on the Expedia-Vrbo booking website. (Nor were the heating regulations!).
Our family of four(2 teenage boys) loved the apartment. The check-in process was easy with lots of helpful information. The apartment was VERY large and is filled with lots of treasures from all over, making the scene even better. The room is set in a perfect location, easy to access all the sites. A main taxi stand and bus stop are 2 minutes from the door. Highly recommend this location.
This apartment was beautiful and centrally located. We walked to EVERYTHING!!! Fabio was super to communicate with and Pina went the extra mile to settle us in. I would absolutely stay here again
We greatly enjoyed all the apartmrnt had to offer. It is conveniently located and spacious. We saved so much money by buying groceries and preparing some meals at home. And having a clothes washer was very helpful.
Really nice, tastefully decorated, apartment, with plenty of room, within easy walking distance of the popular attractions in central Rome along with many restaurants and transportation.
My wife and i had a wonderful time, the apartment was nice and cozy, very clean and the the amenities needed. The housekeeper Pina was very nice and made us feel welcomed. Al the sites were within walking distanceand the bus stop was close by. Would definitely stay again if we get back to Rome.
What a beautiful apartment and stay! We had a smooth check-in process and enjoyed meeting Pina. The location was perfect for our needs and it was nice to be so close to a bus station to get around the city when we didn't want to walk. The historical building was incredible and felt like an authentic Roman experience. We loved the living room / library and sitting by the window with a glass of wine. One tiny note is that the fan stopped working in the bedroom, but the AC worked which was a lifesaver. And the bathtub / shower was a bit slow to drain. Otherwise, we loved it and would highly recommend!
What a fantastic place. Central to everything and perfect for recovering from jet lag with lots of space to spread out. This apartment had everything you could ever need and was very clean and quiet. Communication with Francesca was perfect and she is very kind. Truly a home away from home !
DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS APARTMENT !!!!!
Everything went beyond expectations. Fantastic hosts. Incredible location. Super easy to everywhere. We only had 1.5 days there ( two nights before our cruise ). We averaged about 17,000 steps a day and we did see ALL the major sites. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and Forum ( although we did not have enough time to walk in and around ), Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Monti District. We walked 30 mins to the Vatican in the early a.m. TRASTEVERE was the family's favorite area and we walked there within 15 mins. The only taxi we took was easily booked ( for 9am ) for pick up at the apartment door using IT TAXI app to go to Roma Termini. The master bedroom is air conditioned and ceiling fan. The livong area couches are beds that only have a ceiling fan. Our daughters were "ok" on those beds in the August heat with the fan on them.
Our stay in Rome was truly wonderful, thanks to Francesca and Raluca. Communication with Francesca was a breeze—she was incredibly quick to respond, making everything stress-free. The check-in process with Raluca was smooth, with clear instructions on how to use the washing machine and other utilities, which was especially helpful since we were traveling with young children.
The space itself is charming and unique, and from the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. Even though our stay was only for three nights, the comfort and warmth of the apartment made it feel like we had been there much longer. Our children absolutely loved the space and, after long days of exploring Rome, they kept asking if we could go back to our "Rome home."
Thank you, Francesca and Raluca, for your warm hospitality. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return!
We travelled around Italy for a good while and haven't been welcomed so warmly anywhere else. The apartment is perfect, has everything you need with walking distance to all attractions. We highly recommend to everyone and hope we will come back to Rome one day.
