Welcome to your oceanfront condo! This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom property is part of the Sea Cabin Condominiums, which sits right on some of the best beachfront in Isle of Palms, and is located close to dining, entertainment and shopping. As an end unit on the second floor, this condo has some of the best ocean views in the entire complex!

Things to know prior to booking your stay:
• The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
• Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children and even perfect for some small adults. They’re also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”.
• All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen!
• Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
• Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay!
• Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass during peak season (June 1 – August 1). One extra pass may be requested during the off season.
• The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round.
• No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
• No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.
• This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!

Enter the home and you’ll find yourself in an entry hallway, with two conveniently cozy built-in twin beds—kids will love sleeping in this spot! Bunk rails are provided. Journey onward and you’ll come across the bathroom, which offers a shower-tub combo and a spacious vanity.

From here you’ll travel on to the open concept living and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, including a coffee maker! Whip up a tasty breakfast to enjoy with your ocean views or create your own specialty for a big family dinner. The kitchen is beautifully redone and offers a clean and modern feel, with an elegant backsplash and extra counter space.

The living area is designed to be your beachy getaway, furnished with a plush sofa and a cushy chair. You’ll enjoy plenty of natural light in this area, as there are extra windows since this is an end unit—revel in an ocean view from multiple vantage points! There is a flat-screen TV in the living area with cable, so you can take in a vacation movie night if you wish, or just relax and flip through the channels in-between trips to the beach—there’s also a DVD player if you want to bring your favorites!

A four-seater dining set under a large window makes for the perfect place to take your meals, or you can dine al fresco on the ocean-facing balcony. Just past sliding glass doors you can access the balcony, which offers a table and chairs, and as an end unit has unparalleled views. Wake up in the morning to have your coffee with the sunrise over the Atlantic and enjoy a quick and easy walk to the beach just beyond your front door.

Inside you’ll find the bedroom, which features a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV—the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the beach! This unit also comes with community amenities, such as the seaside resort-style pool, and use of a private fishing pier. The Sea Cabins put you in touch with the best of the isle lifestyle!

The Sea Cabins are 490 square feet and share a Community Pool, Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier. Located right on Ocean Blvd, this is a Great Location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Grocery Store, Shopping, and the County Park! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are comprised of a three building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! The complex has a large pool. Try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests, or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves.

Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a short walk from the complex.

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety!

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

Great oceanfront condo

Clean place and easy beach access. Great view of the ocean from the balcony, which is shaded in the afternoon. Condo is within walking distance of restaurants on the main street.

Communication with the rental company was great. The condo was right on the corner so you have views of the ocean everywhere you look. Pool area was nice. Loved the fishing pier. We saw some large ships and surfers from the balcony. We will be back !

Mother Daughter getaway

This was the perfect spot to watch the water all day!! The unit smelled so clean upon arrival and was perfect to walk to the beach and to many restaurants. We spent most of our time on the balcony just relaxing and watching the ocean.

This condo is in the perfect place for most of what is going on in Isle of Palms. It's a perfect size for 2 but might be tight for a family of 4 or 6. Rental company went out of their way to answer all my questions. Very nice people. Great view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and nice place

The condo was clean and set up when we got there. Had a little trouble with the access code on check-in, but Carroll Realty got it fixed quickly. Plenty of room with a bedroom, two bunk beds and a couch pullout bed. Easy walk to the beach, plenty of linens and towels.

Location , location. Perfect spot at the Isle of Palms. Comfy beds, decent property. Bare bones, bring everything from coffee to any other basic necessities. They did have "starter" packs, including PT, TP and cleaning materials. No beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Prepare to rent or buy. Check out is a hard 10am. Other than those things, very nice property with a fantastic view. Try to rent 2nd floor or above to get the view.

Great Location

We loved this end unit that had a great view of the entire beach! We did have trouble with the code to open our door not working upon check-in. But I was able to call the office and it was opened remotely with no more trouble after that. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the detailed emails regarding check-out procedures such as what to do with the garbage, used towels, and sheets.

Nice stay

We stayed in one of the Sea Cabins. Great location, right on the beach, and walkable to lots of restaurants, a seafood market and the grocery store. The company was very easy to work with. Pro tip - if you like to cook, bring your own knife for chopping things. That’s my only complaint: all the knives were so dull. But overall, a great experience.

A fantastic vacation awaits!

Best unit on the property! Great view. Everything is clean and the plumbing works very well. This is our second time staying here and we love it. The kitchen is modern and clean and has a good set of dishes and cookware for us. Highly recommend! Also the realty office who manages the property sends out very concise and useful emails ahead of the stay to explain checkin, getting around on the property and checkout. The neighborhood coin laundry is clean and works well. We did several loads of laundry and appreciated that it was available. Walking to great restaurants and of course the beautiful beach. We found this to be a perfect place for our vacation.

My daughter and I come to the sea cabins every year. We chose this condo this year because of the view and to be closer to the ocean. We enjoyed everything about the condo accept I do not believe some of the dishes were washed. Maybe they were the left over dishes from the stay prior that wouldn’t fit in the dishwasher? But there were several spoons and coffee cups that weren’t cleaned. The spoon had streaks on them like they do when you slide your food off and the coffee cups had coffee drips along the outsides of them. It made the place feel a little unclean because of that. Otherwise the stay was great!

Awesome!

Check in was a little bumpy as we got there after hours and the realty company was closed and our packet wasn't in the box as mentioned in the check in instructions BUT they answered my call right away and quickly resolved it so it didn't set us back at all. I was really impressed by how apologetic they were and how fast they responded. Not just with the check in but then a storm (did I mention that the weather was 2 thumbs down?!? Ha!) but they were so responsive and quick to help on that too. The location was amazing, views from 2 sides of the balcony of the ocean were wonderful and just down 2 flights of stairs and a few feet from the condo you could be on the beach. LOVED that part.l. And the Isle of Palms is such a great little island. If only the weather would've cooperated a little more but I'm not sore that's something they can be fixed with a vrbo review! ;) The condo itself was small but cozy and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. My only suggestion would be to replace the table and chairs with a high top table and chairs so the view out of the window can be enjoyed while eating if the weather isn't conducive to sitting out on the balcony which was our favorite (even when it was raining, windy and cold.) I will definitely be booking this same cabin again for a summer trip.

Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
