This is our second year in a row - and our third time overall - staying at this home for our annual family ski trip to King Pine. We love the open floor plan of the main floor that allows us to be in the kitchen but still able to be with everyone else. Bring toilet paper and paper towels if you’ll be staying more than a night or two. The hosts are wonderful and communication was excellent. We’re looking forward to staying again!
A perfect location for us for a long summer weekend. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Listing description very accurate, entry/departure instructions concise and easy. Would definitely stay again!
Location was perfect for all water activities at the lakes and hiking nearby. Great neighborhood, friendly and helpful people at all the local stores, beaches, etc. Loved the ample space in the house for kids, teens, and adults to all enjoy the long sunny weekend. Plus the big outside deck with plenty of chairs, tables and a gas grill is great for family dinners! Would definitely recommend this place, it met all expectations from the VRBO listing.
Great house a quick walk to 2 beaches. We like Edelweiss neighborhood and it’s a short drive to N. Conway and beyond. Sean and Rebecca were quick to respond anytime we had a question.
The property was amazing. We all felt so at home and were able to just relax. Having the beach so close was a huge plus. The teenagers gave the whole weekend a thumbs up so need I say more
Our family enjoyed our stay at this perfect family friendly house. We walked to the beachfront pond and went to storyland which was a short 25 minute drive away. Hoping to go back again next year!
Stayed here with 5 other women for a Saco tubing weekend. Had a great time! Plenty of room for everyone. We all had a great time and was very close to our tubing rental company. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great time in Madison. The driveway was very icy and no ice was provided but other than that the house was it is described in the description. The location is convenient and very pretty.
We always love our family trip to this amazing Madison destination. The location is perfect for kids and adults alike. The home is always clean and the owners are kind, courteous and communicative.
Thank you again!
House was in an amazing location close to everything we wanted to do. The property owners responded quickly to all our questions and needs. Would highly recommend renting from Rebecca. Looking forward to staying with them again in the future.
We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils. Plenty of space for all of us and the kids loved the loft for their toys. They could have their own space but still be near us. Will go back again.

It was okay
The house is big wich is nice. Furniture definetly need an update especially the living room. We always stay in NH me and my family and honestely it was not our best.
This was our second stay and we’ve already reserved it for next year for our annual family ski vacation. We ski at King Pine because it’s great for kids, but there are several mountains within easy reach. We absolutely love the open floor plan of the house because we can all be together in the kitchen, living room and dining room on the main floor. There are four bedrooms plus a loft - just perfect for everyone to have their own space. As the listing says, the driveway is steep so if there’s snow, it would be tough without AWD/4WD, but this is typical of driveways in the area. The owners have been wonderfully responsive as well. Highly recommend!
We had a great 3 day getaway with two teens and two adults. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and the deck was perfect for breakfast.
We brought beach floats that kept the teenagers busy for hours. We loved swimming in Middle Pea Pond, the water is clean and warmed up quickly in the sun.
They also enjoyed the basketball hoop and playground that is so close to the house.
The owner was easy to communicate with if any questions.
Sufficed for weekend stay. Found the floor with bedrooms to be too musty & damp. I have allergies and wasn’t able to sleep on that level. Niece also had to sleep upstairs due to the mustiness. Dehumidifier helped little but filled up quickly with water.. Location was convenient to the beach & playground and accessible to local attractions.
Had a great time at the house. This was our second time staying there for a girls weekend trip. The pond was great when Saco river tubing was canceled we spent all day on the pond and it was great weather and had an awesome time. I didn’t remember this being an issue last year but this year the house was very warm, and there were no fans or air conditioning at the property, which made it very difficult to sleep at night. Did end up sleeping on the couch both nights just so I could have the ceiling fan in the living room. That’s my only real critique for possible improvements is the addition of some fans or air conditioners. Other than that our stay was great.

Cute but needs work
The location is a walk away from a cute pond that has several beach locations with clean water and docks for swimming. Our problem with the house was amenities- for a house on the water it really doesn’t set you up. No beach towels, beach chairs or floaties to bring down to the beach. We all came from out of state and couldn’t bring those things with us on the plane. Other issues: poor quality mattresses, carpet was dirty/stained, no chef knife in the kitchen. Couldn’t find dishwasher detergent or washing detergent. Seems like it just needs a little more touches to make it a great spot. It does have a ton of games and kept both kids and adults entertained.

Great house and great location
This house was perfect for our annual family gathering. It's been a long-standing family tradition to head to North Conway for Columbus Day weekend and gather with extended family. This house was perfect! First off it is clean and well kept. We didn't have to do any cleaning to get settled in. The bedrooms were a perfect size and they were very comfortable too. Additionally, the kitchen, dining room and living room provided ample space. Since we had many family members also staying in Eidelweiss, it was conducive to gather for a cup of coffee in the morning, to play a game or watch a movie in the evening.
The location is also perfect. Aside from being minutes away from North Conway, within Eidelweiss, the playground is very close. The kids were able to walk down there in the morning and let out some energy. Pea Porridge pond is also close which is perfect.
Finally, communication with the owners was easy. They made you feel welcome and were always available via text. If you're heading up to the area, don't hesitate to reserve this location!
We had a great stay. The house was just as advertised, clean and definitely spacious enough. The kitchen was also well stocked with basic cooking needs which was helpful.
This is our second summer in the village and love the lakes. Property was very spacious for the family to spread out. Lots of counter space for food prep. Deck also great place to relax. Would definitely recommend location.
Very easy check-in/out procedures. At first I was a bit worried about no AC in the summer heat, but windows down and fans running kept us all comfortable in the house. Great location, close to the ponds for swimming, easy commute to the Kancamagus and North Conway. Garbage/recycling was a bit of a hassle, as was packing all the sheets/towels for our stay. Overall it was a good experience and I'd vacation here again with my family.

About the host

We are family orientated. The White Mountains has a way of calling and welcoming us time and time again. Sharing this amazing location with other multi generational families is an honor.
Why they chose this property
We invested in a family home that would allow us to enjoy family and friends. The memories that have been made and continue to be told and shared are what makes it all worth it. We mostly enjoy hearing how well our family home accommodates multi generations of family vacations. This property layout and location allows for a wide variety of ages and physical abilities to comfortably gather with adventure and opportunity for everyone.
What makes this property unique
You are 1/10 a mile to a beautiful sandy beach to sit at or swim to a dock, enjoy the playground across the street from pond, bathroom, etc. Even with this amazing location you are still tucked up in the woods, set back from the road, able to soak in the natural sounds of mother nature.
