Quiet cabin 300 yards from deeded access to the beautiful Indian Lake.
This home boasts a large yard with fire pit, and a 2 car detached garage. The yard is also perfect for parking boats, trailers and or campers for big family gatherings. This a great access point for snowmobile, ATV and hiking trails.
Just a 10 minute drive from the town of Manistique with its lighthouse, winery and restaurants. For more sightseeing points Kitch-iti-kipi, also known as Big Spring is a 10 minute drive as well. Big Spring is one of the Upper Peninsulas major attractions with its crystal clear water that never freezes, so it can be enjoyed in any season.

Cute cozy cabin

My two kids and I were very comfortable for a 5 day stay. We enjoyed making potato leek soup from wild leeks we found on the property.

Fall Colors

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well stocked. The photos did not indicate a bunk bed in the one bedroom- updated info and pictures would be helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole boards as well as the beautiful fall colors. Would stay again.

August Stay

We enjoyed staying at this location. A couple things that may be helpful to know. There is no hair dryer and bring bag chairs if you want to sit around the campfire. The red shed near the campfire location is well stocked with campfire wood, so check this before buying any. There are two kayaks available, they were behind the garage and filled with dirty water because they were not stored face down. The door to the house closest to the garage does not work with the key provided for entry. That key only works on the door closest to the main road. The screen door on the side of the house closest to the road broke while we were there. The hosts answered our questions very quickly through the VRBO app. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed here with our family of 6. The cabin was so cute, suoer clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook in. Bonfire pit was relaxing at night. The location was within 1 hour of all the sites we wanted to see and was easy to access. We brought out boat and the yard allowed plenty of space to park with ease. We would consider this location again.

Girls weekend perfection

The location is perfect to go to Manistique, Munising and Hiawatha National Forest. We loved our quaint resting spot! We saw deer every evening in the yard, they are so beautiful!

Quiet get a way

My brother and I had a nice stay here and not too far off beaten path to visit with other family members. Surrounds were peaceful and I slept like a baby. It wasn't fancy, but had everything we needed, and our host was great.

Great stay

Cabin was very clean and well maintained with unexpected amenities like several tvs, movies, games, fans, and a small air conditioner. We would love to stay here again. Our only suggestion is that the wifi password be written down in the cabin or provided in a welcome email—though we did get it eventually. The signal was strong enough for us to use for basic functions like checking email and working in shared drives. We really appreciated having this available! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place

The cabin was clean and easy to reach property manager. Thought it was a bit closer to lake. Had to use another drive to access water and was rocky. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Very clean, quiet, great place

A couple friends and I stayed for a snowmobile getaway. Between the bed, bunks, rollaway and couch there is plenty of sleeping choices. Snowmobile trail is easily accessible by a short ride on unplowed forest roads. The house was clean and well kept, no problems whatsoever. An added bonus was having deer right outside the kitchen window every evening. Thanks!

We arrived and the cabin was a mess. Beds unmade and stuff everywhere.

Family Vacation

We rented this property for our family of 5 to stay in. It was more than adequate for our 2 littles and teen. The one bedroom has a bunk bed now which was great for the kids. The home had everything we needed and was amazingly clean. We will definitely be back!

It was a peaceful location to base our vacation at. We saw the sights around Manistique: Big Springs, the light house and shore line. Took a day trip to Munising and to Wisconsin. The local eaters and shops were all great! Indian lake was also nice to play in!
