La Casa M is only 30 minutes from downtown Kelowna yet situated in a quiet and secluded gated community.
And our recently redecorated home has everything you're looking for in a summer getaway. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy a quiet night after a busy, fun packed day enjoying beautiful Lake Okanagan or the 2 pools La Casa offers. A beautiful view of the lake to wake up to and a fully equipped home to relax in. Sleeps up to eight adults comfortably and there's room for youngsters too. 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, plus a brand new Natuzzi queen sofa bed. There's also a crib for infants in an upstairs bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals for the whole gang too. So if you don't feel like making the drive into Kelowna for dinner you can stay in and enjoy a meal looking out over the fabulous view of Lake Okanagan. Save On Foods conveniently delivers right to your door if desired.
Either way it's sure to be a holiday the entire family remembers.
And you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to La Casa.

Perfect Okanagan getaway with kids

We had such a nice stay at Mary's place with our family including our 1.5 year old daughter. The house was clean and prepared with everything we needed. Great location near the pool and amazing view of the lake. Highly recommended.

Perfect weekend getaway

Mary’s property was clean, stocked, and felt like a second home. The location is beautiful, quiet, and we loved that it backed onto the forest while looking out at the beach. She went out of her way to make sure we felt welcomed, was available to contact if we needed, and made the experience memorable. We are already planning to rebook again next year, as we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Thanksgiving 2023

A beautiful view! We really enjoyed taking it in on the balcony with the fire table going to keep us warm and to add to the lovely atmosphere. The cottage was well stocked and clean and we enjoyed the mini golf, pool and pickle ball amenities at the resort. Very good communication with our host. We had a wonderful stay.

Fabulous Property and View

The property was lovely. The only complaint was it was quite hot when we were there and we couldn't get the place cool enough at night to sleep sometimes. We had a few nights where it cooled down enough with the breeze to be comfortable. The view and accomodations were really good otherwise. Thank you Mary for everything!

Nice house with great views of the lake. Close to the pool, which is a big bonus. Kitchen had all the utensils and cookware required. Good big BBQ on the deck. Host was easy to deal with.

Spectacular views and comfortable home awaits!

Property and amenities were wonderful. The view from the deck is spectacular! The cabin was excellent with a lovely fire table on the deck to enjoy morning coffee and late night star gazing. The house is very well equipped, so you don’t really need to bring anything extra. Very easy access to the upper pool. Some members of our group weren’t too keen on the 30 minute windy road access on Westside road, however the others in the group enjoyed all aspects of the drive. The house owner was very responsive and accommodating to all of my correspondences. I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a beautiful stay in the West Kelowna area!

Great Place

I was staying in LaCasa for my daughters Wedding at the Okanagan Beach Club. Really nice place with great views of the lake. Close to the upper pool Nice and clean and really well equipped. The host was very friendly and accommodating Would definitely stay again.

La Casa Wedding

We stayed at this property with another couple who were also attending the wedding. The unit is very clean and very well stocked with daily household items (toiletries and spices) as well as all kinds of dishes, linens & pool toys. Excellent (brand new) outdoor patio seating for many. It is at the very top of the resort but the view was exceptional!! Mary was a gem to deal with and was always prompt with replies to questions we had. The only negative is that there are no TV channels. There's a TV but it is Smart TV only and being from Edmonton during playoff time, we had to go elsewhere to watch the game. Bummer. But who watches TV at the lake, anyway?? (except when it's raining and it rained the whole time we were there).

Wonderful stay!

We had an unexpected welcoming gift, a card and a bottle of wine from Mary our host. What a great start to a fun trip! The view is absolutely beautiful. We have incredible pictures of the sunrise taken from the deck. The heated pool and hot tub are conveniently three houses down. The home is very kid friendly. My four year old granddaughter had a great time. The resort has a restaurant, minimart and takeout. We tried three different pizzas which we would definitely have again. All in all I highly recommend this vacation rental home.

Lovely getaway

We really enjoyed our little spring break getaway with our two boys. The cabin is comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony is stunning. We went on a number of hikes including touring Fintry Falls. Our host Mary was very responsive and the check in process was convenient. Highly recommend choosing this cabin.

About the host

Hosted by Mary Budgell

Pictured in front of the property with one of our grandchildren and 2 Westies. Unfortunately Dave passed away suddenly in 2020. Mary supports people with disabilities while spending as much time as she can with her little grandchildren. We've been coming to the Okanagan for close to 30 years and have always enjoyed the West side of the lake. Quieter, cleaner water and more family oriented, we've always felt this would be a great spot to spend longer periods of time with our family.

Why they chose this property

A bit farther along Westside Road but well worth the extra time! We can get into Kelowna in about 30 minutes if we need to shop or want to have a meal out. But once back at La Casa we really appreciate the quiet seclusion and the feeling of community here. We also felt the view offered from this particular property is something we'd never tire of and would always look forward to in years to come. The house feels just the right size whether we're here for a long weekend or a couple of weeks with the kids.

What makes this property unique

Did we mention the view? Fantastic! And being a few doors away from the pool is a real bonus! You never have to worry about forgetting something or going back for a snack or cold drink. And the upper development is so quiet at night. The only vehicle traffic are folks coming home after an outing in Kelowna. The summer weather around the Okanagan is renowned for being perfect during June thru September. The lake is also perfect for enjoying all water sports or just a casual paddle along the shoreline. If you're a golfer, there are a number of courses within a relatively short drive that offer a challenge for the rookie and veteran alike.
