Located on the beautiful Florentine hills just 15 km from the center of Florence
Part of a rural complex of 1600 has been completely renovated with great attention to detail and to safeguard the simple and refined elegance of the typical Tuscan house.

Positioned on top of a hill, among vineyards and olive groves, it can be reached via a country road, dirt road and a closed ground.

The apartment is about 120 square meters on two floors with a fully furnished patio in a simple and elegant and equipped with all comforts.
The ground floor consists of a large living room with fireplace used as a kitchen and living room
The patio-garden from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset on the hills has a covered area with a table to eat al fresco surrounded by the scent of lavender and jasmine.

The upper floor includes 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms
A very large room with a double bed, a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, which can also be used as a double, and a third bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.
A bathroom with a shower and one with a whirlpool bath and a shower.

The small village of San Vincenzo a Torri ada parte and Ginestra Fiorentina on the other side only 2 km away offer everything you need, food shops, bars, post office, pharmacy, trattoria.

The area has been famous for centuries for the production of ceramics, as can be seen in the archaeological museum of ceramics, in Montelupo, one of the most important in Europe.

Despite being in the open countryside, given the proximity to Florence, the highway to PISA, QUELLA PER SIENA and A1 MOTORWAY, the location is perfect for visiting all of Tuscany.

Away from all the hustle and bustle

This home is tucked away up a very steep and in part dirt road so you can be sure of peace and quiet. A lovely place to be based in for tours around the countryside. The kitchen space is tiny but we soon learnt how to make it work. the bedrooms large and spacious and the outdoor area beautiful to sit in and enjoy the evenings.

Tremendously beautiful

What a beautiful setting. Quiet, stunning vistas, quite a bit of space for our family with 2 teens to spread out in, and central to the area. As pretty as it is in the pictures and then some - we would defy come back. Thank you, Patrizia!

Beautiful and peaceful

My husband, 10 year old daughter and I spent 4 wonderful nights at Patrizia’s apartment. It was beautiful! The gardens, outdoor dining area location and view were perfection. The inside was clean, and cozy with a spacious upstairs. The views from the bedroom windows were amazing. Patrizia is the sweetest, kindest host. She helped us many times with reservations and recommendations for dinner. Our favourite dinner of our trip was at the restaurant Patrizia recommended. Thank you so much! Hopefully we can come back again one day. If you’re considering staying here, do it!!

Fun in Tuscany

The house was lovely and perfect for our family. Beautiful scenery in the hills of Tuscany! Patrizia was a great host, very helpful and accommodating, she helped us get a car as well as reservations to restaurants; she also had groceries ready for us! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

This property was amazing. A beautiful, charming, and quaint farmhouse overlooking the surrounding hills in Tuscany. Patrizia went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She even offered to get some groceries in advance for us since we were arriving on a national holiday which we took her up on. A fantastic host in all respects. Thank you Patrizia!

Hill of Florence

We had a great stay at this beautiful country retreat the fire place was great and the view was amazing! Loved having a few days down time away from the big cities!.. and Patrize was right next door if we needed anything she helped us make reservations at a really good restaurant nearby .. I will def recommend and come back!!

Beautiful farmhouse just outside Florence

Staying in Patrizia’s guest house was a true pleasure. She is the sweetest host and helped us so much with making reservations and answering any questions we had about the region and getting around. If you want to experience small town and country Tuscan life - this is the place for you! The apartment is very comfortable with three nice bedrooms. Our whole family loved it. Thank you Patrizia!

Florence with family

The home is charming and cozy. Everything was perfect for our stay. Very clean. Plenty of space. I can’t say enough about the service that Patrizia offered. She goes above and beyond what’s expected. She filled our fridge before we arrived, offered suggestions for driving and booked reservations when needed. She was always kind and prompt. We will definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back in the future. Grazie mille!!!

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

Our hostess, Patrizia, was wonderful. She was very helpful, had lots of information about the area, and stocked our fridge with essentials so we were comfortable from the get go. The Villa was lovely and the location absolutely beautiful as well as convenient for travel into Florence. I highly recommend it.

Little Gem just outside Florence

A charming and rustic villa just outside florence. The perfect blend of quintessential Tuscan countryside and a short car or tram ride into the city center of Florence. We took our 3 adult kids and enjoyed our time taking day trips to wineries, San Gimignano, and Volterra over our weeklong stay. I can’t say enough about Patrizia’s hospitality! She helped with lunch and dinner reservations any time we needed them and even booked salon services for a couple of us! She’s wonderful to work with! AC works well and provided in each bedroom. Beds are very comfortable and Patrizia provided all the amenities we needed including laundry detergent. The only thing I would caution is if you are looking to do some cooking other then light meals, the kitchen is very small and would make it hard to accommodate. We ate breakfast in, but other then that it was either take out or dining out. Thank you Patrizia, we hope to come back some day!

Amazed at how amazing it was!

This property is not in Sandicci, its just outside by a little village on a hill overlooking the valley with grape vines and olive trees and gardens...oh my word. An Patricia is a true hostess with an eye for design and creating a space that makes you want to relax and never leave. Comfortable gorgeous rooms, bathrooms are large and one has a soaking tub. Books and art surround you with a patio and outdoor table to relax and enjoy the scenery. Kitchen is very small so don't plan on making big meals, but perfect for a cup of coffee or making a simple meal. This one was our favorite of all the places we stayed and Patricia was fantastic. She was there when we needed her but never made us feel she was in the way or intrusive. I would say her description is not accurate because her pics do not do this place justice. Its stunning!

Great Host… Great Property!

I’m sure anyone who’s booked with VRBO (or any other online rental property company) has had some trepidation about what they saw online will align with what they actually see and experience. I’ve seen both sides of this myself. Well , I can assure you that Patrizia’s property is actually better in person! She is a friendly, accommodating and fantastic host and her property in Scandicci is wonderful. My family and I had a great time there and Patrizia was there to great us and make sure we were comfortable from the get-go. She let us know about the area and things to do and see. Just an amazing host and person. I can not recommend it enough!!!

Magical place, amazing host

This was part of a road trip through Italy with my sister. Patrizia is the kindest and most welcoming host - very concerned for our comfort and enjoyment. The home and area are absolutely breathtaking. The rolling hills and sunset from the patio are magical. The stars/moon and peace and quiet were so refreshing to the soul. House has everything you need - lovely dishes, travel info, supplies, closet space, luggage racks, bathrobes, wood for the wood-stove, cushions, extra blankets. The bed linens are top quality - soft and beautiful. Beds are super comfy, lots of pillows. The house has such amazing character - it is exactly what you want in a country stay. Beautiful wood beamed ceilings, skylights. Bathrooms are well equipped and modern. Washing machine and dryer for use. For accessing Florence, drive to the tram (20 min) and you are in the city in another 20 min. There is so much more to this area than just the city - wineries, olive groves, hiking, biking..... it was so wonderful to spend a day in Florence or in the surrounding areas and come home to peace and quiet, fresh air, beautiful skies and views all around. Thank you Patrizia for taking such wonderful care of us. We would love to come back some day!!!

Relax tra le colline toscane

La casa è situata in una strada molto tranquilla, adatta per chi vuole passare dei giorni di relax lontani dal caos della città, in mezzo alle stupende colline Toscane. Con la macchina si raggiungono comunque facilmente Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Siena... L'appartamento, immerso nel verde, è semplicemente meraviglioso e molto accogliente, dotato di ogni confort e arredato in modo impeccabile. Nota di merito anche alla proprietaria, Patrizia, che si è dimostrata molto disponibile fin da subito. Anche se solo per un paio di giorni, siamo state benissimo e torneremo volentieri!

Great place in Tuscany

Patrizia was very helpful and quick to respond to our inquiries . She helped us making dinner reservation . We really appreciated getting a few items for breakfast . Her place was very clean. The location is a bit remote . You definitely need a car . Thank you Patrizia.

Tuscan Charm

What an amazing stay we had. Upon arriving we where welcomed by Patrizia, a lovely warm fire, wine & fruit. We can’t say enough about this lovely villa. Charming, homey and rooms with views of the rolling hills of Tuscany. The grounds are lovely and lush even in late November which was a great surprise. Our trips to Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena where all memorable. Patrizia takes note of everything which made our stay perfect, ask her for any assistance and it’s done. I now have a new skill... building a fire thanks to the lesson graciously provided by our host, thank you.👍😀 Patrizia’s charm and friendliness made our stay complete. Beautiful and comfortable

Views are amazing, beds are comfortable, living area with fireplace homey. As others have said there is beautiful artwork all over the house and a thousand books on art, travel etc. Lots of room to relax and enjoy the views. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and has everything you need except an oven. Patrizia couldn’t have been more helpful; picking up groceries for our first night there ( and making us a delicious lasagna), making reservations, being available at all times and answering all our questions. House is stocked with all the amenities and sundries in case you have forgotten to pack something (toothbrush, toothpaste etc). The downside of beautiful views and lots of room is that you have to drive everywhere. And being there later in the year as we were, it got dark early and we ended up having to drive twisty turning mountain roads in the dark for fairly long distances coming back from the major towns like Siena, Lucca etc. The Tram to go to Florence (20 minutes on tram) is the way to go into Florence but even that is a 20 minute to 1/2 hour drive to parking lot depending on time of day and route you take. Be aware that you must put into GPS Autostrade parking lot. If you just put in parking at tramvia you may be directed to the daily commuter lot on the other side of the train and it is full very early in the morning. There is no easy way to get to the other lot other than to backtrack to Autostrade and get off designated exit which takes about 10-15 minutes, which we learned the hard (and frustrating) way. The house could do with a little updating; fresh paint and the living room furniture is well worn. All in all we loved our time here and the chance to experience Tuscan life.

Scandicci is Perfect

We spent eight nights here and it was perfect. The home was everything represented and more. The home could be a movie set, it was furnished with authentic local decor from sterling silver and antique art to overstuffed sofas and chairs. And the the bedrooms were cozy, very comfortable and romantically decorated. There is the most perfect and picturesque patio with massive vineyard views and stunning sunsets and an amazing dining table for perfect breakfasts to start every day’s adventures. We were in the middle of everything with easy day trips to Pisa, Luca, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence of course. But the best part of our visit was getting to know our host, Patriczia. She knew everyone and everything in and about Tuscany. She got us the best seats in the best restaurants and she guided us to all the must see and must do things and places. She is such a friendly person that we feel like we have a new friend in Tuscany. She really made sure we got the “locals” perspective of Tuscany. Her love and passion for this area was our true and unexpected value add. She showed us such a special glimpse of her Tuscan life that provided us with a priceless experience. From her gardens and hen house to her beautiful dogs, to her kind and sharing heart, she made perfect, even more perfect!

Beautiful views and dreamy home

This countryside home was amazing. The views at sunrise and sunset were so beautiful over the Tuscan hills. The house is a 16th century farmhouse of which we had one apartment of it. It was very private and we never saw the other people. It was decorated in an eclectic, beautiful style. Patrizia, the owner, loves art and classics. She has hundreds of books everywhere. The beds were quite comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was strong. We were there in a hot spell and the house was warm but with fans and portable a/c units we were able to cool off. Patrizia welcomed us warmly and even provided nice snacks and drinks in the kitchen. It was very convenient: 10 min to grocery store, 30 min to Florence, 1 hour to Siena, 1 hour to Volterra (our favorite) and San Gimiagno. For Americans: We loved it, but the a/c may not be quite enough for you if it is very warm outside. It is not what you may be used to at home. Had a couple of nights when I couldn't sleep well due to feeling warm. Finally put a fan right on me and that helped. Also the kitchen is tiny and has no oven. (It does have a microwave.) I did not feel inspired to cook there, but it was sufficient for a quick breakfast and snacks. No complaints as the ambience and views blew everything else away! And of course, Patrizia's hospitality was the icing on the cake.

Breathtaking views and panoramas

What an amazing place! In the heart of Tuscany this property met all our needs. patrizia’s property is clean, comfortable and offers everything you could need. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The Village is quiet, with the only sounds you hear are the occasional tractor, car and rooster. She is very organized and has a binder full of suggestions. The restaurants are numerous. You must have a car to get around. Several wineries to choose from, and the drive to them is not to be missed. The rolling hills as you drive are picture perfect. The rooms are comfortable, nicely air conditioned, and very large. Amazing linens and robes at the ready. This is a place to go back to. The kitchen is on the small side, but functional, with an breathtaking patio with amazing views. Patrizia was in contact with us and will make dinner reservations, and has great advice on the best places to shop.

Wonderful Tuscan getaway

Patrizia was a lovely host and made herself available to answer any questions we had as well as assist us with local dinner reservations and day trip recommendations. Her villa is lovely and felt like home. She had a beautiful fire waiting for us upon arrival and the villa was very clean , well equipped and stocked with fresh eggs from her chickens and other goodies. We will return and look forward to our next Tuscan visit!

Absolutely amazing!!

We had the most amazing time. There was plenty of space for our family of 7 to move around. It’s a perfect location to use as home base if you want to explore Italy. Patrizia was so very kind and welcoming. She helped us with anything we needed. The villa has the most amazing views. Sipping on wine at the outdoor dining table was the perfect way to end the day. The gardens at the villa are gorgeous as well. I highly recommend staying here. It is clean, cozy and beautiful. I felt like I was in a dream.
