Very comfortable house in the most beautiful location. Very safe. Off-street parking. Walk the lovely residential neighborhood & enjoy the parks & gardens. Some nearby restaurants that are quite good, and not nearly as crowded as downtown or Kendall Yards. We especially enjoyed Manito Tap House, RUT bar & kitchen, Republic Pi, Summit Kitchen and Gordy’s Sichuan Cafe. Several grocery stores close by. Downtown & Gonzaga University are a short drive.
Bedrooms: Beds are comfortable. Both bedrooms have mirrors, but no accessible electric outlets near the mirrors. Good window coverings that are easy to operate for sleeping in after the sun rises. Plenty of room for stowing your clothing in drawers or on hangers.
Bathroom: basic tub/shower combo with GREAT water pressure & plenty of hot water.
No locks on doors.
Living room/dining room: spacious and comfortable. Great view of the park across the street from the covered, furnished front porch.
Kitchen: basics are mostly covered. Not very well stocked for cooking/preparing meals. Fine for simple meals or serving takeout.
The house is so charming, but is old - and has a distinctive musty smell (but I do appreciate that the host doesn’t make it worse with fragrance plug-ins!). It could have been cleaner. It was surface-clean, but dusty. If you have environmental allergies, this home might be a challenge for you. Decent WiFi. I would absolutely stay here again - it was a very nice spot!
