The house was adorable and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. Having a parking area was a plus, along with the secluded backyard. We enjoyed spending time outside listening to the birds. The house is a short walk to an old chapel and beach overlook. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful House on Normandy Coast

Beautiful home in historic location amongst the fields and coast of Normandy. Well appointed home with fully equipped kitchen, clean and stylishly kept. We stayed here to do a family tour of the D Day invasion beaches and locations and this was perfect. We hope to return sometime.

Great for families

This was the perfect place for our family during our Caen, Bayeaux, Landing Beaches stay. We have a daughter with a food allergy and it’s nice to be able to cook for her. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were amazing, and promptly answered when we reached out. Hope we will be able to come visit again!

So sweet

Nous nous sommes de suite sentis à notre aise dans cette maison. Tout y est pour se sentir comme chez soi. Le jardin est agréable pour tous et les tout petits peuvent s’y promener sans danger et s’y amuser. L’emplacement est idéal: au calme et à proximité de tout. Mention spéciale pour la literie, nous y avons dormi comme des loirs. Les jeux pour les grands comme pour les petits ont été très appréciés. Nous avons testé à plusieurs reprises les barbecues normands! Merci pour ces vacances mémorables!

Beautiful Normandy Lovely Central Location

If you’re wanting to visit Omaha beach, this location allows you to walk to the beach to the cemetery to the museum and it’s a short drive to the other beaches from this location as well as Mont St Michel is a great day trip. Bayeux to see the Tapestry should not be missed. It is close to many wonderful French cafes and restaurants. All of whom spoke English and were extremely helpful. Or bring your own groceries as the kitchen is well appointed. There was so much room in the cottage. We could’ve had additional guest without any issues. Parking is not an issue as there is room for 3 to 4 cars behind the gate There is a game room, which we didn’t use, but would be great for families. The outdoor space has loads of little areas in the garden. Where are you could spend hours. I couldn’t have been happier the owner was so accommodating. I happily recommend So Sweet and would go again!

La maison est parfaite pour des vacances en Famille, au calme avec un grand Jardin. Il y a vraiment tout l'équipement nécessaire pour les adultes et aussi les enfants, beaucoup de jouets à disposition, excellent! Rien à dire, proche Omaha, Port en Bessin, Arromanches. Nous recommandons!

Fantastic House

An absolutely fantastic house which was lovely and clean and excellently presented. Would recommend to anybody who would like a quiet location, though close enough drive to the town and fantastic walks/cycling paths. Will definitely be back!

Ein rundherum gelungener Urlaub!

Wir (vier Erwachsene 60+) haben die ruhige Lage unweit des Meeres und mitten in einer ländlichen Umgebung sehr geschätzt. Das Haus selbst bietet alles, was man für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt benötigt, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Langeweile hatte angesichts der zahlreichen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und des Spieleangebots (Flipper,...!) keine Chance. Dank der sehr sympathischen Severine fühlten wir uns als Gäste vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl! Inge C.

Très agréable location

Location très agréable, très bien équipée et confortable. La literie était confortable, les sanitaires propres et agréables et le chauffage par le sol efficace. La décoration est cosy et l'accueil est chaleureux (merci pour les chocolats et le jus de pomme !). Le site, près de la mer, est au calme et bien situé. Le climat est ... normand. Je recommande chaudement.

Excellent séjour

Séjour parfait ! Nous sommes arrivés frigorifiés mais nous avons vite été réchauffés par l'atmosphère chaleureuse de la maison. Un véritable cocon de bien-être ! La maison est parfaitement équipée, rien ne manque. Un bon feu de cheminée, le chauffage au sol et des lits confortables ont fini de nous revigorer. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et un très beau Noël ! Merci Séverine pour cette belle maison et merci Béatrice pour votre accueil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir aux beaux jours.

Tolles Haus in toller Region

Meine Frau und ich (57) waren im September für 10 Tage in diesem Haus. Wir haben uns hier von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, großzügig ausgestattet und hatte genau die richtige Größe, nicht zu groß, nicht zu klein. Es strahlt eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit und Heimeligkeit aus. Besonders die Betten möchte ich hervorheben, wir haben lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Am Ende eines langen Tages hat es uns jedesmal Spaß gebracht, den Spieleraum zu benutzen. Beim Flipper kamen Erinnerungen an früher zurück. Den schönen Außenbereich haben wir leider nicht genutzt, da wir jeden Tag unterwegs waren. Die Normandie ist einfach schön, hier gibt es viel zu sehen. Natürlich kommen besonders die Geschichtsinteressierten auf ihre Kosten, denn der D-Day mit seinen original Kriegsschauplätzen, Museen und Monumenten ist hier überall präsent. Fazit: Ein phantastischer Urlaub, eine tolle Region und ein tolles Haus! Vielen Dank dafür :-)

Wirklich hervorragend

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Das Haus ist lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Gegend bietet zahlreiche spannende Ausflugsziele. Ob zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder mit dem Pferd. Geschichtlich und Landschaftlich gibt es viel zu entdecken. Wir können das Haus und den freundlichen Vermieter nur empfehlen.

I am Séverine, married and mother of 4 children aged 1 year to 9 years. I live less than 10 minutes from our holiday home, near Port en Bessin. My family and I love this little corner of Normandy. We have both the beach and the countryside, the city and the picturesque villages, and finally a place steeped in history.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house because we love old stones. Located near the beach, it allows us to go quickly to the beach. Or, to lie in the garden, in the shade of a tree with a good book while the children enjoy the outdoor games.
In case of bad weather, a good fire warms the atmosphere quickly and offers moments of family or recreational cocooning with board games.

What makes this property unique

On the road to the landing beaches, near Bayeux, its museums, its cathedral and its animations, medieval during the summer as well as those of the Normandy coast ... A modern house and well arranged with all the comfort with a relaxing and spacious garden and a table tennis table sheltered.
A games room is offered with a real football table, a pinball machine and a dart board.
