Gorgeous home, lack of parking!
Gorgeous home and we loved the 4 queen size loft bunk beds! The loft and (its own bath)was the perfect place for our teens. Beautiful kitchen and living space. We didn’t feel crowded with 10 of us there. The only downside was the lack of parking and the crazy driveway that you needed to back down on portions because of how tight space is for parking.

Smaller than Expected, but still nice!
Great proximity to the ski lifts (only a short walk down the road). Getting in and out of the parking lot can be tricky if you don't have 4WD because the driveway gets pretty icy. The property is nice, but smaller than the pictures make it look. There is space downstairs too though, so we didn't have any issues. Be careful around the fire place- it get's really hot and WILL melt things. Definitely take advantage of the discounted lift tickets- we were able to get 3 day passes for $330. The property management was super helpful- they refunded one pass due to an injury and then refunded a second pass for 2 of the days because one of our friends got stuck Florida due to flight delays. Overall this place was great!

Nice Stay, Nice Owners.
We did a big get together up here with some college friends. We had 7 guys who all had a bed to sleep in. We soon found out the house next attached to this one was the owners; I was a little concerned they would be disrupted by us having a good time, but nothing of the sort happened. Instead we were treated to a nice southern welcoming, and again no issues at all. The house was a little older, but was perfect for what we were doing. Hot tub, solid, downstairs master bedroom was super solid.

Decent
The place was in decent shape. Except the hot tub which was not maintained and smelled bad. There were also beer cans and soda cans all over the back area.

Good
The property needs better cookware. We bought an additional skillet to cook with due to the poor quality of the cookware in in the unit. Part of the reason we rent large units like this one when vacationing is to be able to prepare meals and enjoy dinners with friends and family. Other than that, our stay was great.

Very clean and conveniently located to ski hill activities
I loved watching the gondola go by while sitting in the hot tub, and getting to see a mama bear and her cubs pass by, too! Overall, a very comfortable, well appointed house--definitely would recommend to anyone who asked.

Great place
We had an excellent time at the Ski Chalet. The shuttle was well worth it also for getting back and forth from the slopes and town.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway
Our weekend at the Rebel Hollow Chalet was everything we hoped for. Checking in and out was amazing easy. The property itself was exactly what we were looking for. The property is close to town yet also feels secluded. There were 8 of us total, and there was definitely room to spare. The next time we plan for a trip to Steamboat, this property is where we will look first!

Had a Blast
I've been going to Steamboat for the last few years and have never really stayed on the mountain (especially walk on, walk off). Having a group of 10 with 5 out of towners and not having to coordinate 'how to ride the bus' 'where to meet' 'where the car is' etc was amazing. Couldn't beat the price and everyone I dealt with was really helpful. I had to change the method of getting the keys a few times prior to arrival and they were quick to get back to me and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean - so all good by my standards. We have already decided this will be a yearly thing for us, especially now that we found this place to stay. Oh, and my dog had a blast too! He's also looking forward to his next trip to Steamboat!

Dark and older townhome
Let me start this review by saying that I live in a nearby ski town and worked for a very popular management company (that my husband still works for) for MANY MANY years. Did you ever hear the saying go to the best neighborhood and buy the cheapest property? Well......this condo/townhome is a good representation of that idea. It is located in a neighborhood flanked by million dollar homes but it is an late 70's 80's throwback, built in to the hillside in the woods with 49 steps leading down to the unit. The unit has a small deck off of the dining room but there is no view and a few older plastic chairs sitting on it. The grill is very nice though:) The downstairs bedrooms are very cool and two are VERY DARK!! The sofas upstairs are really really really dated (my guess would be 1989) which would be fine but they are very uncomfortable, I would not subject even the youngest kiddo to sleeping on the fold out and my parents in their 60's and 70's could not get up without assistance once they had sat down. I feel like I have to mention again that there are FORTY NINE steps leading to this unit, we had 4 people over the age of 60 who are in good shape but even for them this was a challenge. Carrying suitcases, groceries, etc up and down was crazy! I cannot imagine if they had been more out o f shape or bothered by the altitude. Someone should put this very important fact in to the description of the unit. I did keep saying to myself, this is what you get when you have 2 dogs and a budget but I am not so sure. The town home is old and dark. It really really needs some TLC. With some updating and landscaping this unit would be worth it but right now I would not recommend it:( That having been said, Erin at Retreatia was very nice and we still had a great time in Steamboat, we just made a point of staying out of the townhome as much as possible.

Great family reunion
The property is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by trees and built on to a hillside. You hardly know there are neighbors close by because it is so wooded, but you hear the gentle hum when outside of the gondola. From the house, you can hike up to the top of the ski run, or take a quick bikeride down to town or the bottom of the gondola (we did both). The bedrooms all afford privacy for a larger group, but everyone can come together to meet in the livingroom. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Ski Trip
Our annual ski trip was in Steamboat and we had a wonderful time. The folks at Retreatia had set up everything for us, they shopped for us and took us from the airport. Our kids loved how close it was from the lift, we walked in the morning and usually had lunch on the mountain. The house was spacious, it fir all of us, it was really clean and nicely set up. The hot tub was getting lots of use, we saw a deer one morning by it, took lots of pictures! We went downtown couple of nights, but mostly stayed in after a long day of skiing. Thank you for another great family trip!
