About this property

This is a newly renovated home to be used as our guest house for family and friends. This home is in the Westmoreland Heights subdivision in Batesville, just 2 blocks off Highway 6. The house is adjacent to our family home and sits atop a hill overlooking the 16th and 18th fairways of the Panola Country Club golf course. It features an open floor plan with a modern central kitchen with all new upscale appliances. We also have a basketball court for a little outdoor activity.

For SEC sports fans, we provide the "calm before the storm" being 25 minutes from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, The Pavilion and Swayze Field. For peaceful and mindful visits, our guests are 5 minutes from Magnolia Grove Monastery. Plenty of food and shopping available in Batesville and 25 minutes from the Oxford Square. For hunting and fishing enthusiasts, we are 5 minutes from Sardis Lake and 10 from Enid Lake and surrounded by some of the best hunting land in Mississippi. If you are gambler, we are 45 minutes from the Tunica casinos, with new Sportsbook available.

Graduation weekend

This is a beautiful, well appointed home in a beautiful golf course neighborhood. Very quiet, yet near the highways. A 30 minute drive to the Ole Miss campus and Oxford. Home was very comfortable for our group of 7 adults. We highly recommend this charming home.

The Perfect Property

Huge property with plenty of room and very clean. Extremely well taken care of. Owners went above and beyond my expectations with the amenities. The house is very well stocked. There were games, movies, sport equipment. This is the best property I have ever stayed at. Look no further this is the one. I am already planning my next stay.

Stayed for Softball Tournament

This house was perfect for our family to get out of the heat at a nearby softball tournament for our daughter. It comfortably held 7 of us. My dad enjoyed the back deck, kids enjoyed basketball and having room to run around, my wife and I enjoyed walking the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Rosemary!

Great Getaway

We came down to visit my daughter at Ole Miss and stayed at this Beautiful house for the second time. This house has everything you need and the views on the back porch are amazing. We loved our time there and the owner Rosemary is always available if you need anything. Home is only about a 23 minute drive to Ole Miss. We will definitely book it on our next trip to Oxford ! ❤️

Rebels beat LSU

Southern Hospitality Classic

Tom and Rosemary were excellent hosts during our stay for the AGJA Southern Hospitality Classic for the week. Crappie Fishing!

We stopped to Crappie fish in Batesville on our way to spring break near the Gulf of Mexico. The house & hospitality exceeded our expectations! It was warm, inviting, spotless, and full of every possible amenity we could imagine! The deck was perfect for a glass of wine at night, and the kitchen counter worked great for our family of 5 to gather. The hostess was friendly and very accommodating! We would highly recommend this home to anyone - it was an amazing way to start our vacation!

Family time to exhale....

What a wonderful property... full of both new and antique treasures, with a layout that was perfect for my family get together. My parent drove from FL while we drove down from MN. It was great that there were two separated space of rooms so that my parents had a quite "suite". The kitchen was up to date and fantastic, with two sitting areas for conversation. The bedding was fantastic and the house incredibly clean. I wanted to find a cute antique shop to hopefully find some of the cute pieces like the house had. The owners were lovely and communicated so well. My son was able to play basketball daily, while we went for walks, and enjoyed the deck, outside sitting and hammock. I love how the owners truly thought of everything and it was like we were in a home away from home, all the way down to fresh muffins and fruit bowl. Thank you Rosemary & Tom for opening your guest-home to us, where memories will be cherished for years to come!

Perfect Family Getaway

We booked Parsley Sage for our family's Thanksgiving celebration. It was the perfect place for our family! We were so relieved to find that every detail had been taken care of. We moved to Batesville in 1986 from Oxford, where we lived for 8 years. Tom is an attorney here and we both fell in love with Batesville, thus we have been here ever since. We raised 2 children on our 3 1/2 acre lot enjoying sculpting walking paths and many sitting areas through the wooded property. The golf course that joins the property allowed many hours of fun with family golf challenges, plus morning runs and walks along the cart paths. It has become our own little quiet family park. When our children , family and friends come to visit there are always plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained!

Why they chose this property

When our neighbors, who built this home, moved into a retirement facility, we decided to buy this adjacent property. It seemed like the perfect way to extend our little slice of heaven for our family and friends, giving them privacy when visiting . We have named this property Parsley Sage Guest House in honor of our children and a very old song! We hope that many wonderful memories will be made in this special home by our family , friends and all our guests.

What makes this property unique

Sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the sun come up through the trees each morning with a cup of coffee is very peaceful. A morning game of golf then in 30 minutes we can be in Oxford watching the Rebels play. If we want great food and keep our calm we can find many good restaurants here from great steaks to award winning pizza in Sardis. We feel you will find our home and Batesville both fun and relaxing.
