This house is in a quiet new neighborhood in Pleasant Hill Iowa located 20 minutes from Downtown DesMoines,15 minutes from Adventureland amusement park, 15 minutes from Prairie Meadows Casino, 10 minutes from the Iowa State Fairgrounds, 20 minutes from the Chichaque Valley Trail head in Bondurant and 30 minutes from the Iowa Speedway in Newton. This is a two story house with 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. The property has a washer and dryer and a 2 stall attracted garage available for your use. This entire 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom home is for your private use. It comfortably sleeps 6. There is 1 queen size bed and 2 full size beds. All the comforts of home, with direct TV, wifi, new furnishings, pots, pans, table service, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc. Kickback on either of the two custom leather sofas while adjusting the flame and heat in the fireplace. Utilize the 55 "smart TV in the living room or the smart TV in the Master Bedroom.

Iowa Beef Expo cattle trip

What a great place to stay! Was clean the house was warm and was great place to relax after all day in the cold barns! Convention to the Fair Grounds looking forward to booking again for our next trip to DesMoines

Needs Cleaning and Organization

There was animal hair on the beds, and one beds had hair on the sheets. House could use a deep cleaning (fridge, fans...) and organization. Things are thrown and stacked in closets and cabinets.

Trip to visit extended family

Property is nice, for all the house rules and remarks about leaving everything clean and items in their “home” property was not that clean. Oven was a disaster that required cleaning to use. Otherwise nice if you do not mind taxidermy and possible daycare with 3 dogs next door.

Quiet location

This house is located in a really nice quiet neighborhood. House met our needs for space. Could use a thorough cleaning. Especially since I paid a cleaning fee… Kitchen well equipped although we only used coffee maker. Didn’t like that we were responsible for washing and drying towels. Makes timing tough when you’re sitting around waiting for towels to get done.

Good location for activities at the state fairgrounds

The house was in a nice nieghborhood and easy to find. The house was as described and reasonably priced. It could have been a little cleaner and the towels and bedding were not great quality. Just hand soap in the bathrooms and one hair dryer. The master bath toilet needs a reset ( loose and small leak) and the washing machine needs to be cleaned.

The only thing i didnt like was the fact i never got the code to the key lock box and we had to contact the owner multiple times so we could even get into the house. And that the master shower was clogged and gross.

Girls weekend

We met up with family for a fun girls weekend. We enjoyed Big Creek State Park and the outlet mall in Altoona. The house met our needs and we didn't have any issues. Beds were comfortable. House was clean and decorate nicely. Kitchen was well stocked which we used twice a day to cook meals. I am glad in the instructions I received prior to the trip that it stated the expectation is to wash, dry, and put away all towels prior to checkout. For this reason, we brought all of our own bath and kitchen towels from home. I had no interest in getting up extra early to do laundry before our 7AM departure. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and have never had that as a checkout expectation. I would stay here again; I would just bring my own towels. Thanks for the use of your lovely home!
