The house itself is nice. It's an older house, but clean and well appointed. The location is amazing - just a block from historic Annapolis shopping and the water.
Despite being that close to all the activity, the neighborhood is pretty quiet and feels very safe. Exterior walls/windows are thin, so when there are people outside (ex. coming home on a Friday/Saturday night), you can hear them pretty clearly. Given that it's mostly single family homes in the area, though, there just aren't that many people walking by. We were there the night before Thanksgiving, and there were huge crowds out at the nearby restaurants, but we only heard one or two groups walk past.
Only downside is there's no parking at the house. There's usually a parking garage a block away, but it was being rebuilt while we were there, and the next best we found was a 10-minute walk away (felt perfectly safe to do this walk late at night). So, if that's too far, you might want to confirm if the closer garage is open yet for your stay.
