Welcome to Cooper’s Point, 10 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, featuring a brand new private & cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bunk room, 1.5 bath Forest River Vibe cabin with fireplace, central air, gas range, deck w/hot tub & outdoor living spaces including grill, outdoor entertainment & beverage fridge, all nestled under the pines & surrounded by water! Our property is family owned & occupied, with our rental cabin situated & fenced off for pets & privacy at the end of our lake point. Se habla Español! We are proud to offer an affordable dog-friendly experience for couples, friends, small families, or anyone wanting to get away & relax. We’ve even hosted famous writers! Please note we do a *lot* more business on the “other” short-term rental website, so please do check us out there too, even if just for the reviews- we have solid 5-Star reviews and can be found at “Cooper’s Point Hideaway.”

A privacy fence affords a dog-safe & uniquely solitary water-front stay nestled under the pine trees, while our cozy master bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with premium bedding, & our bunk room features one *upper* bunk & a lower fold- out queen couch that we can make up on request. (Please note for mobility purposes that when the bunk room queen bed is pulled out & made it takes up the whole small bunk room.) All rooms are situated with great lake views right on the water.

We’ve built a new deck for our professionally-maintained hot tub & private living & outdoor cooking area that includes a propane fireplace. Lakeside evenings couldn’t get much better than sipping tea or a glass of chardonnay out on the deck in front of the fire with your best friend or your best canine pal & your kindle.

For the colder winter months, our RV cabin is equipped with central heating, electric fireplace, extra radiators if needed, a heated mattress pad on the master bed, plus plenty of cozy blankets. If you like quiet days in, we offer books, games & puzzles, plus Netflix & Amazon with movies & internet for viewing the lake from the comfort of the warm indoors.

A few things to know:

Lakeside can still get chilly in the winter, so please plan & dress accordingly.

Smaller dogs should be leashed at all times as we do have (amazingly beautiful) predatory birds, including bald eagles, hawks and owls.

As shown in photos, this property is in the woods & has all the woodsy things one would find in the woods, such as bugs, critters & such. We take a lot of care to remove fire ants & bad insects like wasps; however, please be aware the property is right on the lake & situated in the woods & plan accordingly.

The cabin does have an oven, but just fits a flat baking pan. We also have a new outdoor gas grill with burner in the outdoor kitchen area.

A little about us: We are a woman-owned business, & our property is owner-occupied. It is our pleasure to welcome you with a quality, relaxing & quiet stay. We’ve settled down a bit in our older years, so if you’re looking to party loud (nothing wrong with that), we’re not the right fit. 😊 Please note: If you have any special needs, please inquire with us as we are happy to accommodate if we can.

Absolutely perfect cottage

My husband, I and our two dogs have stayed in several VRBO and air b&b all over the US and this was by far our favorite . We will be back for sure . We stayed for a full week , we didn’t even want to leave the property we loved it so much . The cottage is very well maintained , very clean , has everything you could possibly need . Beds were very comfy , loved the huge bathroom . The property is amazing , our dogs loved swimming in the lake and running around on the fenced in acreage . Highly recommend . Great location , within minutes or everything in hot springs . The neighborhood is very quite , we brought our running shoes and went for a run every morning . Loved it .

Our Hot Springs Get a Way

Great place to unwind

We were looking for quiet and seclusion with a nice view for a very short stay... and we found it! This property fit our needs perfectly. It truly had everything we needed. We had one glitch but the owner, Signe, was very gracious... she addressed the situation and did her best to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you Signe for a very pleasant experience.

Great weekend getaway!

We loved our time with such great access to the outdoors. Perfect for our 6 year old and our 2 labs to run off lots of energy, with lots of accessible hikes nearby as well!

Lake Point

It was great! House was very clean and decorated very cute. The area is very secluded and peaceful. We swam off of dock and floated down cove, which was great. Fishing off of point was great, didn’t catch anything but had a few bites. Bug spray is for sure a must while waking down to dock and point. Everything needed was supplied in kitchen, except can opener didn’t work to well. Very comfortable and peaceful week.

We really enjoyed staying here. The cottage was very clean and very nice. Everything you could possibly need is available there. The boat dock and boat ramp are nice and makes it very easy if you’re a fisherman or boater. Thanks for opening up your home to us!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent Getaway-feels like home.

Super easy to book; great directions for check in; and fantastic communication with owner. When there were weather concerns over hurricane Laura possibly ruining our trip, Signe was great about letting us know there was no damage, flooding or power outages, and we were good to come the following day! ZERO complaints!! Every detail is thought of: every cabinet labeled, bug spray if you forgot yours (like we did), hummingbird food, sunscreen, toothbrushes, razors...literally anything you might need. Couch was comfy, ottomans for your feet, lots of throws if you get chilly. Bed was comfortable, better than any other VRBO rental we’ve ever been to. Location was great, easy to get to the highway and go 2 miles to be in the middle of everything, or go nowhere and enjoy the peace. The private dock is perfect to fish from or take a chair and fish from the point; both were great. Despite rain nearly every day, it was still a wonderful get away and we love that pets are allowed as part of the family. Thank you so much for sharing your family’s cottage with us, we will definitely come back! Nathan & Amanda Crump *IF I had to make any possible suggestions (because it really is fantastic), they would be: -have a broom and dustpan available for the OCD that want to clean before they leave (at least the leaves and pet hair). -a lamp for the other side of the couch for reading, drawing, etc... -a curved shower rod to give a little extra elbow room in the shower. ~curtain liner with suction cups to stick to the side of the tub so water doesn’t escape so easily. Again, just some thoughts I had throughout the stay but nothing that would prevent me from returning or anything that dampened our stay.

Getaway

This was our first time visiting Lake Hamilton and I can say it wont be the last! We absolutely loved our cabin! It was all modern and up to date on everything! We loved our location! It was snuggled into a little cove where we were able to launch and dock our party barge. The only suggestion i could make is an outdoor sitting area. The porch was in the sun during the evening and we couldnt enjoy the view but other than that it was PERFECT!!!!!

Perfect Lake House!

We stayed for several days and the property and location couldn't have been better! We have stayed at several lake houses in the Arkansas/Missouri area and this was by far our favorite. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and very well stocked (plenty of dishwasher detergent, shampoo, conditioner, tinfoil, bug spray and lots of other daily kitchen and cleaning items). The swimming off the dock was great and there were plenty of chairs and floaties there to use - the dock is at the perfect location just inside the cove where the water is deep and clean but with minimal boat traffic. Signe responded back very quickly anytime we had a question and was very accommodating. We hope to return again soon!

Awesome lake house.

Amazing, love lake Hamilton. It was super easy to put the boat in the water. The only problem was there were no lights on the dock. Great views and everything you need is there from the kitchen to the bug spray and super fast internet. Thanks for sharing this awesome home.

Beyond Amazing!!!

This place exceeded all of our expectations. We could not have asked for better host and a better place to be. The kids and dogs didn't want to leave, er physically had to get them in the car that's how badly we didn't want to leave!!

Perfect get-away!

My partner and I stayed a week with our dog. It was a wonderful and relaxing time. The owners have thought of everything we might need or want. The kitchen had beautiful granite counters and new appliances, creating a luxurious feel. We stocked the fridge while we were there and cooked nearly all of our meals at the house. There were all the kitchen essentials including spices. The gas grill had propane ready to go. There were paper towels, ziplocks, and everything we needed to clean up a bit during the week. The bed was as comfortable as our home. The decor is just perfect. I really can't say enough positive things about our stay. The owner even installed a long ladder for the dock while we were there to make getting in/out of the lake easier. We will definitely return!

Wonderful location

This was a wonderful location, in a quiet neighborhood. The kids enjoyed being on the lake and swimming, while my husband spent time fishing. The house had everything we needed.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing, swimming in the lake and relaxing on the pier in the afternoons. The property is big enough that we never made contact with any of the neighbors. We brought our dog and she enjoyed exploring the property.

Quarantine getaway

We have many people in my family with preexisting conditions and have been stuck inside since the pandemic started. We wanted to find a quiet place where there wouldn't be a lot of other people, but would allow for a change in scenery and fun family activities. We roasted marshmallows, swam, took pictures. Drove to see the stars, and just enjoyed nature. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Cozy, Clean, and Private Arkansas Lakehouse

This was my family’s first trip to Arkansas and this lake house was the perfect first experience! It was clean, decorated so cute, and very comfortable. Big windows all along the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms give you a great view of the water. Cozy soft blankets were thrown over every chair (I took a nap in a recliner so I can vouch for it’s comfort).We had everything we needed and there were a few extra little toiletries in the bathroom in case you forget to bring something. The air conditioners worked great, the beds were comfortable, I just can’t stress enough how homey and cozy it is! It is the last house on the street in a neighborhood but since it’s the end and the backyard is a huge triangle you feel like you’re on your own island. My husband enjoyed fishing and caught a couple of small bass. The girls enjoyed swimming in the lake— there was a little confusion and they didn’t swim the first few days because we didn’t know the ladder to climb out of the water & back onto the dock had fallen into the lake (but was tied to it with a rope) so once I text the owner we fished it out of the water and my girls enjoyed swimming. We saw fireflies flying around the trees at night (it was pretty magical), were visited by a goose family, found 7 or 8 four leaf clovers, and drove see sites nearby. Lake Catherine State Park and Hot Springs State Park are only 20-25 mins away. We rented a boat at Kahuna Bay and drove around and pulled the kids on a inner tube and we were able to stop back by and dock at the house for lunch before going back out. All in all we loved this house, and this trip, and we are already planning on returning!

Peaceful relaxation during pandemic

We were booked to have a family getaway the first week of April but due to travel restrictions from Covid-19 we were not allowed to take our trip. Signe was so awesome in the handling of the issue as I sure she was bombarded with cancellations. We were offered a refund but chose to reschedule for a latter date and she made this happen easily. We visited April 30 - May 4 and it was amazing. The property and lake was beautiful and relaxing. We bought food to cook during our stay due to restaurants and such being shut down due to social distancing requirements and the cottage had everything needed to prepare full course meals, whether inside or grilling outside and even he fire out we used for roasting wieners/s’mores. Just what we needed during a stressful pandemic. We are already looking to book again in the fall!!!!

Wonderful Mother’s Day!!!

I rented this property for my kids and I to have a weekend getaway for Mother’s Day. This property was everything the listing said it was and the reviews were all accurate!! It was clean, stocked with everything you’d need and then some, beds were super comfy and it was great having the point to ourselves! I’ll definitely be back!!! Best Mother’s Day weekend ever! The fish didn’t bite but the boys had fun anyway. The shower drained slow and that was the only thing at all that wasn’t perfect!!!

My name is Signe Land, and my sister Elizabeth and I inherited our property from our father Cooper B. Land, who was born and raised in Hot Springs, and then retired on our lake point twenty years ago, living there for many happy and contented years prior to his passing in 2016. Our father inherited the property from his father Cooper Land Sr., who was a prominent attorney in Hot Springs during the 40's, 50's and 60's. We consider Hot Springs our home and we cherish our special spot on our quiet inlet on Lake Hamilton. We are pleased to offer our new Lake Hamilton bungalow for guests visiting the Hot Springs area. Our property has been in our family for many generations, and we take pride in the privacy, beauty and amenities we have to offer.
