About this property

Direct Oceanfront Condo, Amazing Views of Ocean and Bay

This property is Owner Operated. We do not use an agency, so there is no management fee.

We purchased this condo in 2018 and completed the renovation in June 2018.

Direct Oceanfront Condo with two large balconies. The building is located at 11100 Coastal Hwy in North Ocean City. The condo is on the 20th floor, with an Amazing view of both the Ocean as well as the Bay. Watch the sunrise, listen to the waves crash and watch the dolphins swim up and down the shore in the oceanfront balcony. You can see the sunsets on the bayside balcony.

We have keyless entry to our Condo, so no need to carry key when you go to the beach.

We have free WiFi that is private to our unit.

Guests to bring their own linens (bed sheets and pillowcases) and towels.

The building has 3 high-speed Elevators, Indoor Pool, Sauna in both bathrooms. A huge sundeck with picnic tables, during peak season umbrella tables chairs are available, which is perfect for sunbathing and lounging around.

For 2024, the Indoor Pool will be open from April 1st through October 1st.

Excellent location! Gold Coast Mall across the street. There are several restaurants, pubs, shopping, pharmacy, movie theater and supermarket nearby.

No pets allowed. No smoking allowed, including the balconies.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent to high school or college groups under the age of 25. Therefore, online bookings for group rentals will not be honored.

Maximum occupancy 6. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests included in your reservation. No gatherings/events/parties are allowed.

Damage and incidentals: If there is damage to the Property during your stay, you will be charged up to $1,000.

For 2022, there is a $60 Building Registration/Parking Fee per vehicle per week due at check-in.

Check-in at 3 pm; Checkout at 11 am

June, July, August, September requires a WEEKLY rental. Weekly Rentals are Saturday to Saturday.

Minimum stay is 3 nights during the off-season.

Rates are subject to change until confirmation is confirmed. Cancellation fee $200. If cancel at least 30 days before check-in, 100% refund (minus $200 cancellation fee). 50% refund (minus the VRBO Service Fee and $200 cancellation fee), if cancel at least 14 days before check-in. No refund if cancel less than 14 days before check-in.

The Rental Agreement must be signed by the Guest & return to the Homeowner upon receipt. Homeowner reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the Agreement is not returned within 48 hours. A photo ID is needed to confirm the guest who will be checking in.

Beautiful view and very clean

Some of the furnishings were outdated but very clean, beautiful view, easy access to the beach. Great communication with the owner. We were unaware of the $60 charge for parking until we already booked our 3 night stay.

OCMD Vacation

We absolutely adored staying in the condo at The Irene. (Once we found it! There is a very small sign at the entrance we missed on first pass after dark, and the sign on the pool area was hard to make out). Otherwise, it was a relaxing, perfect week at "the shore". We hope to be back!

Fantastic Stay

Condo was just as it appeared online. Mornings spent having coffee watching the sun rise over the ocean we even saw dolphins numerous days. The building was very nice as was all staff we interacted with. Easy to get to the beach and easy to clean up from the beach. Pool was nice for a break with the kids. We would definitely come back again.

The condo was exactly what we were hoping for

We really enjoyed staying at this condo unit during our first vacation at Ocean City. The unit was clean and neat. The views from the balconies were absolutely incredible! We had an amazing 20th floor ocean-front balcony on the main side of the condo unit. Across the hall on the opposite side was another amazing view of the waterfront bay. The sunrises and sunsets were wonderful! The unit was nicely equipped with some basic kitchen items such as plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots and pans, etc.. The unit had a nice modern look to it and was tastefully decorated. The owner was very good at responding to any questions we had. The Irene building itself was very nice and well-maintained. There was a nice indoor pool inside the main building that we could relax in after a long day of lounging at the beach. It would have been nice to have an outdoor pool too, but not highly necessary. Beach access was good. Take note that the beach is wide and it was a bit of a workout to walk through the thick hot sand to get to a good spot near the ocean to sit. Overall the beach was very clean and wasn't crowded when we were there in late August. Not sure how it is other times of the year. Grocery store, restaurants, and other and other shops were nearby within walking distance or a short drive. The boardwalk was about a 20-minute drive from the condo. We loved the area where we stayed and would definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation property

Beautiful views

We just left our our condo in Ocean City, MD. Our condo was clean but the views were even better. I. The morning, we had the ocean and beach. Did t make the sunrises. We WERE ON VACATION!!!!! In the afternoon, the sunset and bay. Simply gorgeous. We did have a maintenance problem but it was fixed within two hours. Thank you Mui and Ryan.

Great stay

This was a perfect location in ocean city with easy access to the beach. The view of the ocean is mesmerizing and there’s even a bay balcony to. Had all the essentials we needed and didn’t have to make a trip to the store. Highly recommend this stay.

Comfy Place with Nice Beach

We had a nice time at this property, the building is on the older side but the unit is well kept and suited our needs well. This stretch of beach was nice and not too crowded. The only thing we wished was different is that the listing and check-in instructions clearly state that linens are not provided so we brought all our sheets and towels to find when we arrived that they were provided. Wish we could have used that room in the car for something else.

Great beach getaway

We have stayed at many condos inOcean City over the years and this one was definitely one of the nicest. Clean, up to date furnishing, spacious and beautiful views from the direct ocean front balcony and bayside balcony. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property with all the amenities you need!

This is an excellent host. We would definitely stay here again. They are very responsive and the place is beautiful and very clean. Views are incredible from the ocean front balcony with the sunrise and the Bay front balcony with sunset. This was a lovely relaxing place to stay. The condo unit had everything we needed and more!

Loved the view and location

The place is beautiful and the owners were amazing through the entire process. The only reason I rated the overall stay 4 instead of 5 was because the beds were not very comfortable. They seemed to be new however they are memory foam and you sink to the middle.

Our thoughts

The units are definitely older but the owners have done a lot to update it. The second bedroom could use some minor things, a mirror, alarm clock and better lighting. The bedroom is very dark.

Our family loves spending time on the beach in Ocean City MD. We purchased this condo 2018 because of the location. This building is located in the quiet part of Ocean City and right on the ocean. It's within walking distance to grocery store and many restaurants.

Why they chose this property

The building is very clean and well maintained, few renters, and very quiet. The beach is not overly crowded. It is a secure building, security code needed for evening hours. There are 2 balconies with Amazing views of the Ocean and the Bay. There is a nice indoor pool which is great for rainy days.
