Cozy Bungalow, located in the heart of Amish country. Relax hearing the horse and buggies, going by the bungalow daily. Updated 1 1/2 story bungalow, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, is located just minutes away from all Amish attractions. Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, with queen size beds, and bathroom. Upstairs consists of 1 bedroom with full size bed. Linens and towels provided. Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bakeware, spices, and paper products. TV, Wifi, DVD player, some DVD's, books, and games. Pack-n-play, highchair, and booster seat is available.
Amish homes and farms along the road, Stoltzfus produce stand and Hayloft ice cream with pond (can feed ducks) also has a play ground for small children, and within walking distance. Close to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Sight n Sound in Strasburg, Shady Maple, Maple Grove Drag way, Green Dragon. Close to most Lancaster County attractions.

Always a great experience

We have stayed at this bungalow multiple times. We always have great conversation with Ted and Sharon. They are very knowledgeable about the Amish, which we find fascinating.The house and grounds are very clean and well maintained. We already have reservations for our next stay.

Warm and Friendly

Many personal touches that showed hosts truly were happy to have us as visitors. Decorated for Christmas. Friendly but not intrusive. A willingness to help and answered all our concerns immediatley.

Annual Anniversary Trip

We travel to Lancaster every November the week of our Anniversary. We have stayed at this hose several times because of the location, the owners, and the house itself. The location is perfect for eating places, shopping, going to shows like the one at Sight and Sound Theatre. The house is just the right size for the two of us, and everything we need for cooking and space to store all of our shopping bags until we leave. Ted and Sharon are wonderful to work with and always provide a wonderful atmosphere. The house is comfortable and inviting. A family of 4 or six would have plenty of room also. We will try to book this house again next year.

Peaceful stay

The property was everything it said it would be. Our hosts were very welcoming. It was so comforting to come back to the house after hours of touring around the area. The house was immaculate and that in itself gave us such a peace. I would go back there in a minute and will tell my friends about it.

Lovely place to stay for a weekend

This house was very clean and comfortable. Exactly as presented on the website. Neighborhood is quiet. Owners are friendly and pleasant. Beds are comfortable. House has everything needed for a short or longer stay. Would come back again if we have need.

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for myself, my daughter and 5 year old grandson to stay. It was clean, comfortable, had a nice outdoor space, right in Amish country with horse and buggies going by and and closer than we thought it would be to "tourist sites". Our hosts were very gracious.

Great location. Quick,easy access to sights/events. Clean, bright accommodations - beautiful small home. Our “landlords” were/are two of the nicest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Already thinking of an excuse for a return visit.

Great stay at the bungalow in Leola

Ted and Sharon are great hosts. The bungalow was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was a great location and close to many things to do. I would highly recommend Dutch Wonderland for an amusement park experience for young kids. Our grandchildren were 8 & 5 and they loved there time there. We had a great family vacation at the bungalow.

Perfect Location

We wanted to be near Ephrata, Sight and Sound Theater, Intercourse, Litiz; this was a perfect spot. Fun drives around the countryside; away from cities; just what we wanted. There was room for 3 of us to spread out and have breakfast before taking off for the day. The upstairs bed is pretty firm but we enjoyed each having our own room.

Ideal Location for Lancaster County

We had a relaxing, wonderful stay at this property. The owners, Ted and Sharon, were a pleasure to work and visit with. This is a cute, quaint home with an ideal location for doing things around Lancaster and surrounding smaller towns. In the evenings we would sit out in the front yard and watch the sunset as the horse and buggies would pass by. There are plenty of eating establishments nearby and a wonderful ice cream/homemade pretzel shop just down the road. We look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Another wonderful stay

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit the area. Ted and Sharon are wonderful hosts and the is immaculate. They think of everything from cookies on arrival to adding a grab bar for my mother. We are looking forward to our next stay!
