My family and I met at this adorable cottage for Thanksgiving and it was exactly what we needed! The location is great and the house is has a great cozy feel. We loved staying here and highly recommend it!
The cottage was adorable, very clean, and private. It was a perfect getaway for a few days. It was very easy to book and owner was very quick to respond to all messages. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again!!
I came to work away from the city and this little cottage was the perfect destination. Close to attractions and far enough away from everyone to really feel isolated.
This cottage was cute and perfect for a week of quiet retreat. The yard is surrounded with trees. Those had that secluded feeling without being far away from people. Close to stores and Presque Isle State Park. It was an enjoyable week.
We enjoyed our stay here, this house was a good option for us for our visit. Boat parking is available as well, but it is a tight squeeze. One bed, and a couch in living room. It’s nice being tucked back in the woods a little bit. Would definitely recommend.
Place was great, and the decor reminded me of home. Melodee answered all my questions in a timely manor. We'll definitely come back.

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Disappointing
Although the cottage had a sweet nostalgic feel to it— there were a number of issues- the worst of which included the TV not functioning, kitchen sink that was rusted out and had no filter, and the bathroom sink sending up sewage- like fumes. Also, there was no communication- no number to call for problems. Wuite disappointed on this one. I’ll have to think twice before using VRBO again
Even though it was close to the highway, you didn’t get much traffic noise. It was wonderfully hidden in the trees, and is close to everything in Erie and Girard. I a like I should tell everyone that they would hate it so there would be more availabilities for me!! 😂
Perfect little cottage nestled within the trees - peaceful & quiet. Reminded us of our home in the mountains of Tioga County. Loved the decor, comfy furniture & well stocked kitchen with everything that could possibly be needed. The sun porch was the best place to start and end the day. Centrally located to everything we wanted to visit while in the area. Such a gem!
The cottage is not far from the road but the surrounding woods makes it feel very private. The place is cosy, quaint and well equipped. We would recommend this cottage to friends.
Very comfortable and clean little cottage perfect for two!
Very nice outside space as well equipped with a grill and chairs and a firepit!
Unfortunately there were no printed instructions for how to access either the over-the-air digital TV or the Internet-based TV. Not readily obvious to this old dog but we were able to figure it out after some canoodling!
I gave this property a 4 out of 5 star rating only because 1) the pricing is misleading as you get charged an additional rate when you add a second guest, and 2) you can't book this property without first agreeing to purchase their damage insurance (which is an additional up-charge). I have other insurance that would cover me but wasn't given an option to opt-out.
A nice property!
We enjoyed our stay. Nice little cottage near a lot of things. Very close to Presque Isle and Erie.
It has a secluded feel to the place with woods all around but it is just tucked back a lane out of sight.
We did have some trouble with the satellite TV, no signal for a whole day and next morning, but otherwise great place.
Property was great. It was warm, cozy, clean, and perfect for our long weekend fishing trip. We were able to cook dinner every night after a long cold day on the streams. Melodee was quick to respond to any messages, and had the cottage ready to go for when we arrived late.
