The little red house was a most charming N GA mountain get-away! Excellent hiking and waterfalls, with Rabun Co having the most waterfalls in the SE.

Wonderful Stay

Totally recommend! The house was great with a cute little kitchen with nice appliances, comfortable seating in the den and options for dealing with the heat—central air and a fan in the living area, and plenty of light. We backed up the drive as long as there was enough light but you can also park to the front. You are minutes from the Tiger drive in on Old 441, the Walmart, and on the South side of Clayton closer to the dog park (at the Rabun County recreational area) past the high school to the south—this was closer for us than where we stayed before. There are to entrances the first one with the gate is the one you want, but you can turn left from the other—-follow the curve around (a pond is on the right) until you see a parking lot to the left that has a bark park parking sign. You have to walk across a field to get there. When eating out, we recommend the Rusty Bike in Town for breakfast or lunch really and had dinner this time at the Valley Cafe on the way to Dillard to the north which was really good, and has amazing cakes. It is in an old bank and has a wine cellar on display in the bank vault. The place we were going —the Country Cupboard—was closed for dinner.

Great time in Clayton

We loved the house and the area! The winding and steep and narrow roads are a little intimidating at first, but there's not much traffic in the general area, so it doesn't take too long to realize they aren't as bad as they might seem. If your car doesn't have a backup camera, though, don't park at the very top of the house's driveway--the parking spot in front of and parallel to the house is much easier to get out of.

Enjoyed our mountain getaway

Had a wonderful time staying at this property. The host was very responsive to my questions and check-in was easy. Cabin was clean and spacious with comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfort at the Little Red House

The property is well cared for and had all the 2 of us needed. The beds are remarkable. Furniture is comfortable. large TV we couldnt figure out, but if we had a youngster with us, no problem. Did get info from owner, after wed given up. We would recommend this place. Location was close enough to town on a quiet street.

Little Red House

Stayed all week at The Little Red House in Clayton, GA. Had a ball! The house was PERFECT! The home was immaculate, bright, roomy and well appointed with everything one would need. Location-wise easy to get to, overlooking golf course, peaceful, very close to town/shopping. We opted to prepare our own meals as opposed to eating out. The kitchen was very well supplied! The beds were very comfortable. Favorite spot was on the porch in the evenings after whitewater rafting, hiking Tallulah Gorge and Blackrock State Parks. I would DEFINITELY recommend this home to anyone looking to relax and will definitely return! The owner Andrea Miller was very attentive even though we needed nothing!! Thanks again!!

Cozy and convenient!

The Little Red House was perfect for our vacation. The house was cozy and had everything we needed to feel completely at home. It was only minutes from downtown Clayton and close to several hiking spots, waterfalls, and lakes. We highly recommend and will return for future trips.

Little Red House

All was good. Cozy home ,close to town. Only complaints was that the bedroom door or the bathroom door would close. Stove needs to be updated. We didn't cook there because we felt it wasn't clean enough. There was no cable or satalite tv only Roku through the internet. The beds we're very comfortable though. There was no gas grill. So eating out every night was a must.
