Private Haven: Luxury Villa w/ Pvt. Beach, Pool, Dock & Whole House Generator!

Our Villa is equipped with a whole house generator to ensure no loss of power during outages

Our dock allows for excursion pickups so no need to drive into San Pedro. Great for fishing and enjoying the views too

All the amenities like shampoo, soap, toilet paper, towels, dryer and washing machine are included in the price.

We have 2 kayaks with lifesavers, snorkeling goggles that are also included in the nightly price.

Our rooftop has a big terrace for stargazing.

We are the only villa with a big yard to make your BBQ's, play sand volleyball, sunbathing or anything you want

Our beachfront villa located on Ambergris Caye in prestigious Playa Blanca, features 5 bedrooms, each with its' own air conditioner and ceiling fan and 5 bathrooms, three of which are ensuite. Two of the three upstairs bedrooms open on to a long terrace with sitting areas outside of each bedroom. The 360 views from Villa Aurora span the Caribbean Sea to the bay. We also feature a Princess Maya one bedroom one bath suite with a separate front beach entrance, kitchen and outside sitting area.

Our new roof lounging area is perfect for sipping a cocktail while enjoying one of the most beautiful views in the world.

Our newly renovated villa is graced with handmade furniture from Belize as well as handmade furniture and statuary from Bali, Indonesia.

Our walls are decorated with paintings from the local Belizean artist Fred Trejo, and carefully chosen handmade treasure from Bali.

Cooled by the eastern sea breezes, this spectacular villa features a rooftop palapa, three beach palapas and one palapa at the end of the dock! Lounging areas on the beach, on the roof and poolside.

Beautifully landscaped gardens of tropical trees, and flowers, over 30 species of plants, creating an idyllic environment. The spacious living room and cushioned sofas opens to the pool deck and outside dining area. Both our handmade dining tables are perfect for family meals inside the villa or poolside.

You may arrive at Villa Aurora by sea or by land. The villa features a long private dock with a palapa with hammocks and benches at the end. The dock has a ladder and is perfect for snorkeling off of, paddle boarding, kayaking or fishing. The dock is easily accessible by to water taxis, dive boats, jet skis and sailboats.

The villa also features lots of beach towels! And a laundry room for your convenience.

Villa Aurora has a care taker on site to ensure the property is in pristine condition and to assist our guests.

Family Before wedding get together

Great house, great country, incredible host!

This house is amazing and, Mike, the property manager is even better. With a secluded location, private amenities on a well-loved property, and lots of space, this VRBO is perfect for a group who is tired of the resort vibe and wants the quiet, natural beauty of the Caribbean and a private pool! It’s a 30 minute ride from town, but Mike meets you at the airport or water taxi and can then organize events that will pick you up from the private dock. And Mike is the best host we had in the 100 or so properties we’ve rented in the last decade. He strikes the perfect balance of responsiveness and privacy. Ahead of the trip, he handled all the logistics (golf carts, trips, service) and during, he showed up to help as needed and not more. Fishing was amazing, Myan archeological site was inspiring, cave tubing was refreshing, catamaran was mind-blowing…all from our amazing launch point of Villa Aurora!!!

Core Memories at Villa Aurora

This was such an amazing vacation for our families. We were a party of 9- two families with kids ranging 8-18. Communication was always prompt from Michael and he helped us coordinate and facilitate our golf cart rentals, groceries and beverages on site upon arrival, a fishing excursion as well as a catamaran excursion. He was prompt in picking us up from the airport as well as made sure we safely returned. He was very professional and communicative. Our experience was over the moon by the staff on site. Jairo and Vicky made sure our every need was taken care of. From baiting the lines and fishing on the dock to cooking our catch… to carrying kayaks to the water and providing recommendations for dining nearby. My husband celebrated his 37th bday while there and Jairo and his wife helped me surprise him with a nice dinner and a cake. They were the epitome of purveyors of hospitality and kindness. My kids were sad to leave. This was an outstanding stay for us- the property is a bit remote but we found that to be a blessing. We hope to be back to Belize!

Fabulous Private Villa

Our group of 9 had a fantastic and relaxing week at Villa Aurora. The pool, kitchen and living room was a great space for all of us to hang out with a lovely view of the Caribbean Sea. Jairo and Vicki took good care of us always making sure we had water, ice and even did a bonfire for us one night. Mike did a great job arranging our airport transfers, golf carts and snorkeling tours (must snorkel Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley with Captain Chris). Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect for a girls getaway

This house is perfect for a large group or family. We had 5 people which meant that each had their own bedroom & bathroom. You could comfortably do the same thing with couples as the rooms and bathrooms had plenty of space. Everything with the house was perfect. It was extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable. From the moment we landed in San Pedro, Mike was there to guide us and handle anything we needed. He booked us a golf cart, a full day charter boat, and got us back to the airport on our last day. Jairo and Vicki were on site and took great care of us as well. Jairo did a fantastic job of tending to our every need without being intrusive. He handled our luggage, made sure everyone was comfortable, got us set up with the paddle board and kayaks, and so much more. Vicki made us two amazing meals that we couldn't get enough of. We felt completely spoiled the whole week. Even though we were just there, we're already planning our next trip back to Villa Aurora. The only reason for 4 stars on the location is that it is a bit of a trek to get into town or to any type of market. We didn't have the house stocked with food and drinks which we will definitely do next time. And the one night we did want to go into San Pedro for dinner we had to call a taxi vs taking the golf cart since the roads are pretty rough and it was very dark outside the city. Not necessarily a negative if you're going for a more remote, private vacation, just something to be aware of.

A Most Excellent Stay

We Loved Villa Aurora We took the non-stop from Los Angeles so did not arrive in San Pedro until 9pm. The property manager was waiting for us and had also ordered two golf carts for our group. We were able to stop at the market to get items for the house since we like to have breakfast at home--Warning: the supermarket prices were very expensive as Ambergris Caye is essentially an island. The house was as pictured....Beautiful. Spacious. Very well located. And with all the necessities. Our favorite part was the dock and the palapa at the end of the the dock. The snorkeling around the dock was lovely and so was the fishing. Also, kayaks were provided and the reef was about a 10 minute kayak ride out to a buoy where the snorkeling was spectacular. Belize is very respectful of their reefs and only Belizian guided boats or kayaks are allowed to explore the virtually untouched reefs. The caretaker Jaido was very helpful and present when needed. He was always careful with our security and a lovely adviser with our fishing, kayaking, coconut hunts. You should be aware that the house's spectacular special-ness it's remoteness...It is at least 5 miles from town and the road to-and-fro is not paved and rugged. If you want to stroll out of your condo for a cup of Starbucks, this place is not for you. But if you are looking for adventure with comfort....beauty & family fun. Nothing can beat Villa Aurora. Staggering Sunrise and Sunsets await.

Thanksgiving Break

Our family really enjoyed coming to Villa Aurora! There is plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do! Hito and Vicky are extremely welcoming. Vicky cooked a fabulous Belizean/American meal. Mike was also extremely responsive with any question and other needs(ie. booking 1/2 day charters, setting up golf carts, picking up from airport and bringing us back to the airport). Our family thoroughly enjoyed this trip and was able to relax! Thank You All for sharing Villa Aurora!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great 7-day stay at Villa Aurora. Jairo and Vicki (caretakers of the property) were absolutely amazing! They helped us with whatever needs we had, and Vicki is an amazing cook. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-16). We all had our own space and enjoyed the house. Would highly recommend this property when booking your stay in Ambergris Caye.

Fabulous home / fabulous house managers!

Our group of 8 adults and teens had an incredible Spring Break at Villa Aurora. The home and the views are even better than pictured. We had perfect space to be together by the pool or in the house. Our own private beach was a magical place to enjoy a bonfire. Even with ALL this - the best part of this property are the team who help you every step of the way. Mike helps with airport transfers, golf carts, arranging everything from massages to dinners out. He’s very responsive and helpful! And dear Hairo lives on property with his wife and precious son. They are all WONDERFUL. Hairo built us bonfires, surprised us with fresh coconut water, went grocery shopping for us and even made a surprise TikTok of us we didn’t know he was making! He takes care of the chickens on-site and was quick to point out iguanas and everything else we could have missed. When we accidentally broke a golf cart windshield, he called around for us to price solutions. On our last night, he and his wife made us the most delicious meal of burritos with homemade sauce. They take such great care of the property and treated us like their family. I can’t say enough about them. Book this house!

An incredible experience

We had a group of 8, ages 8 to 80, and we all had a wonderful stay here. Jeiro and Vicki are fantastic, and they went above and beyond on a daily basis making sure that we had an excellent stay here. Our first night here, I was exhausted, so Vicki had prepared the best Belizean meal for our family. The food was fantastic. Mike contacted me right away and set up our plane tickets to the Island from Belize City, our golf cart rentals, excursions and meals. I didn't have to worry about anything. The property does need some updates here and there, but overall, I was very happy with our stay and my family was comfortable. I'm so glad that we had the opportunity to stay there and have such a great experience.

Outstanding Home, Staff, Location-Our 16th Trip to Ambergirs Caye

We just returned from a week in Villa Aurora and as a frequent visitor to Ambergris Caye (16 trips) I can say this is the best accommodations and overall experience ever. The home is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped, grounds are beautiful and expansive, and the large pool is very nice. The caretaker and his family (Jairo and Vicki) attend to your every need PLUS offer great suggestions such as a bonfire, fishing on the dock, showing off the beautiful grounds, picking up items in town and more. They added so much unexpected joy to our visit. Mike the property manager took care of travel to and from the San Pedro airport, stopping for groceries, and he can set up golf carts, excursions, and many more extras. One day after being gone for 12 hours on a mainland excursion we took advantage of a wonderful meal prepared for us in the villa of grilled chicken, fish, conch ceviche, vegetables and more. It was a terrific way to end a long day with an authentic Belizean dinner ready for us when we returned. The entire week was just outstanding and I highly recommend Villa Aurora. Bob Adams

This place was perfect

This place was perfect for our first time over sea vacation. Mike the manager helped us so much. There was no shampoo or conditioner when I thought there was but we survived. It was pretty far from town. A 20 minute golf cart ride. It was private. My family loved the dogs. Great place for large families

A Dream Vacation -

I cannot say enough good things about this trip. I couldn't even wait to get home - I'm writing this from my layover location. I had never been to Belize, and I had never really planned a trip for a large group (I traveled with my boyfriend, my own family, and his family - 8 people total of varying ages). Mike made the process very easy for me since the moment I booked the house, helping me understand what I might need once I got there and booking it for me. Once we got there, the property exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, scenic, remote, peaceful, and easy. Jairo, the groundskeeper, was one of the kindest persons I have ever worked with. He chatted with all our party members and attended to everything we needed with ease and a positive attitude. If you are scrolling through these reviews thinking about whether to do it, stop hesitating. Just do it. I am already heartbroken that the trip is over. As a side note, we snorkeled with a crew that Mike recommended, and that experience was also a dream come true. We were even treated to some visits by some very friendly house dogs. As you can see from other reviews on here, you cannot swim in the ocean from the house property, but the "secret beach" is quite close and is absolutely stunning. We'll definitely be back!

VILLA AURORA-wonderful week in Belize, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

Nice big 5 br/5 ba house that housed 5 couples. big ocean front yard with VB, cornhole, horse shoes, bonfire, long private dock, fishing off dock. Full time care takers on site, chef available @ $40/P. Groceries are expensive, so chef prepared meals are a good option. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Bring bug spray!! Buy liquor at Duty Free in Belize City. Pool a little deep to enjoy, but nice sun deck with lounge chairs. Mike the concierge, is very helpful with reservations and answering any questions. Also did massages at the house (roughly $75 to 90/p). Would go again to this place.

Fantastic visit!

Mike, Teresa and Jose were terrific hosts. They checked in with us every day, responded promptly to questions, and the meals Teresa cooked for us were better than what we had at the restaurants. We had plenty of space to relax, play games and enjoy our week in the sun.

Great Family Reunion Spot

We rented Villa Aurora for a 40th birthday family reunion that consisted of 4 kids (1, 2, 4 and 7 year old) and 6 adults, for a total of 10 people. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, highlighted by the incredibly helpful staff who take care of this property. Pros: 1- the property is very spacious and did not feel cramped for our party of 10. There is even a guest room on the ground floor that could have accommodated 2 more people, but we had all members of our party stay in the main house. 2- the private beach area in front of the house is fantastic and superbly maintained. There are volleyball bets, an area for bond fires, and just tons of clean sandy beach for kids to play on (throw frisbees, footballs, etc.) 3- Jose and Theresa’s, the couple who take care of this property and live right behind it are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Given they live onsite, they are available immediately to resolve any issues and are ready/willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you have a great stay. We also had Theresa cook dinner for us on a few nights of our stay and were happy with the authentic island food she prepared. 4- Mike the property manager is super responsive and we appreciated his honesty when he highlighted a discrepancy in our final bill, one we wouldn’t have noticed in our own. 5- the private dock is actually a great spot to have a few beers and catch some fish! Cons: 1- aside from the master bathroom, the other bathrooms need a refresh, as you would expect more from a property at this price point. 2- the waters in front of the property have a ton of sea grass/algae, making it unusable for swimming. The waters do become clear once you get to the edge of the dock and to be fair the entire island is dealing with a problem of sea grass/algae taking over nearly all their beaches. We rented a boat to take us to tranquility beach, which is at the northern tip of the island and had some of the clearest beaches. 3- The pool at the property is very deep (10 feet), so kids have to be strong swimmers to use it. 4- the property is a ways out from downtown SanPiedro (about 30 mins), but we were actually just fine with that, as it made the environment feel much calmer and there still are some great restaurants nearby (Matachica, John’s Escape, Portofino) All in all, a great vacation spot!

Perfect home for multi generation family vacation

The house, yard and private pier were perfect for a family vacation. Simon met us at the airport with our 2 golf carts and escorted us to the house and gave us a tour. The caretakers, Jose and Theresa, took wonderful care of us. We enjoyed our Belizean meals. We loved the large yard and played volleyball and corn hole. The pier is perfect for fishing and spotting sting rays. Highly recommend this property.
