While our condo unit was undamaged by hurricanes Helene and Milton, the storm surge of Helene badly damaged the pool, hot tub and BBQ areas. The concrete wall surrounding those areas was washed away. Currently the pool and hot tub are filled with sand. As soon as I have an estimated date for reopening those amenitiesI will post it here. If you wish to book without being able to use the outdoor amenities, I will charge at half the nightly rate. However if those areas are available, the full rate will apply. The businesses in the area that are at ground level were all inundated by storm surge and are still (as of 10/13) in the process of cleanup and repairs.
Unit 406 at Anglers Cove is well equipped for laid back fun on the sugary white sand beaches of Pinellas County. It is on the 4th floor front corner of the building (see photo with our condo circled on it). Enjoy dinner alfresco on our wraparound balcony as you spy dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. Interior recently renovated. We have tried to imbue it with a comfortable beach cottage feel by decorating in muted blues and greens. We like to cook and bake and have supplied the kitchen accordingly. This is not your typical bare bones condo rental. We use it as a second home to gather with our families who live in the area. Downstairs there is a beachfront heated pool, jacuzzi and grill/picnic area. There is pay per use laundry on each floor, 2 elevators, covered parking, and on-site security and maintenance. Wi-Fi and 2 parking spaces included. Marvel at the sunset each evening as you sit on our spacious wraparound balcony. You will love your stay in paradise. Check out our reviews. (The pier that was once the focal point of our view from the balcony, has been completely removed.)
Furnishings updated regularly: April 2023 we had the entire condo painted floor to ceiling and installed new carpet.; April 2022 we replaced the double beds in the middle bedroom with queen beds; April 2021 we installed a new walk in shower in the master bathroom to replace the previous bathtub/shower. Bathrooms and kitchen were upgraded to granite countertops with new sinks and hardware and new appliances in the kitchen in April 2017. We regularly replace the quilts and shower curtain liners as needed. We stay at our condo several times a year and can see for ourselves when things need to be cleaned or replaced. We also take time during these visits to touch up the paint. This is why our condo is consistently described as the best one in the building. It's because we care. We do not cover our annual expenses on this condo with rental fees, and certainly do not make money. Please respect it and take care of it as you would your own home so that we can all enjoy a beautiful getaway :)
