Perfect long weekend

This was a weekend like no other. We love the St. Lawrence but we also love modern conveniences and this home satisfied us on both levels. Love the convenience of one floor layout but yet separate ends of the house for bedrooms. Love Love the front porch-spent most of my time out there just loving the view. Very very clean!

Peaceful Retreat

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at this riverfront property. The beds were comfortable and the house as a whole is wonderfully appointed. The deck overlooking the river was perfect for relaxing and watching the ships on the St. Lawrence. The location is perfect. The house is approximately 30 minutes east of Alexandria Bay, and 40 minutes east of Clayton. The drive is beautiful and there are several state parks along the way, as well as several scenic overlooks. The only glitch was that upon our arrival, the beds weren’t made prior to our arrival (we arrived after the 2 pm check-in time). But Erin was very responsive and arrived promptly to address the situation, which was greatly appreciated. My only suggestion to improve the property is the addition of non-slip mats in the tub and shower in the two bathrooms, since they each became quite slick when wet, and my mother was concerned with falling. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Lovely relaxing place to stay

Such a nice home with all the amenities. I really enjoyed swimming most every day and relaxing on the deck most nights looking out at the water and watching the passing ships. Very good atmosphere to gather our family together and enjoy the time together.

Outstanding Home on the River!

This nicely appointed rental home was (as always) exceptional. This was our 4th year renting here and it's always fantastic! We love the peaceful location and the large open grass area leading down to the St. Lawrence river. It really does feel like our home away from home. The owner is so thoughtful and manages this home with care. He's always upgrading the property for an even better experience. We absolutely love staying here!

St. Lawrence escape

It had a wonderful view of the st. Lawrence river to watch the birds and tankers as they traveled. The bedrooms were nicely separated for privacy with ensuite baths.

I have no beef about the place it was very nice .but the water there smells like bad eggs so bad in fact we could not take a shower or use it for cooking . iI hope you look into this problem and I expect to hear from you. .please call at 570 467 3234

It was excellent to wake up every morning to look at the river

Absolutely Outstanding Experience, Again!

This place is truly amazing. It offers such beautiful views of the St. Lawrence river and it's an incredibly relaxing destination. We love the large yard for games and activities and we come back year after year to enjoy this place. The owner is extremely accommodating and always makes sure everything is perfect. I can't say enough good things about this property. This is by far one of the best vacation rentals on the St. Lawrence river!

Home Away From Home

If you are looking for a great vacation home, this is it---clean, comfortable and "homey". The floor plan is ideal for privacy between the two bedroom/bath areas. Excellent location on the river--- very scenic, quiet and peaceful, convenient to shopping and dining.

Perfect end-of-summer vacation

This house was perfect for our family to reconnect with our cousins in Ogdensburg, enjoy early August on the SLR, and just relax. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, view was incredible, and the large lawn between the house and the river was perfect for our kiddos to play. This is also an easy drive to Ottawa for a rainy day trip. We can't wait to come back next year!

Everything you need for a perfect getaway!

From start to finish this was an amazing week. Such a well appointed rental with everything you'll need for a relaxing vacation. It felt like home from the moment we entered. Erin made the rental process easy and was the perfect hostess. The view is spectacular from the well furnished deck and the three season room. We enjoyed sitting down by the river where the breeze was lovely. This is such a peaceful property. The location is ideal for restaurants and only a short trip to stores. We hope to return in the future.

The BEST place on the St. Lawrence!

This was our 2nd year staying at this camp. In short, this place is absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the large yard and dock that comes with the property. We had many nights of bonfires, smores and fun! I can't say I enough good things about this property. Our whole family loves this place. The owner is great to work with. We will definitely be back same time next year!!

Another beautiful stay! Stubbies from Massena NY

Was everything as expected in this beautiful property. Quiet area and very tranquil. The home was well stocked with amenities. Communication with property manager was outstanding. Store is close by as we needed ice - about 1 1/2 mile from camp. Made a day trip to Clayton and River Rat Cheese and to a Craft Store in Alex Bay. It is a short drive. Hope someday the river problem is solved. It wash high but we went in anyway. Hope to return again to this real wonderful venue! Thanks, Erin

Spectacular property

A fantastic retreat perfect for four adults or family of 4. Amenities were outstanding and kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Two full bathrooms were very convenient for two couples. They were like new and very clean. The kitchen was great for indoor dinners. We used a Weber gas grill provided by owners for 2 nights. Grill was clean and quite new. We left it as we found it. The bedrooms were large, comfortable and well separated in the camp. Living area was very spacious with cable tv/flat screen. We spent a lot of time on the large deck with plenty of seating provided. We took chairs down on the lawn to the enjoy the breezes off the river and sights of boats and Canada. There is an inside sitting/porch area for bad weather or cooler days. Overall it was fantastic. We had a problem with water supply treatment, but have been assured that the problem has been eliminated. Our host Erin was ver accommodating, promptly replying to any questions we had. 5 STARS!

Great location and wonderful river views!

Great location and wonderful waterfront views and access. Easy trips to Waddington and O'burg for supplies, but far enough away for relaxation and quiet. Loved this property and Erin is an excellent property manager - helped us with everything we needed!
