Enjoy our vacation beach house on a no bank sandy beach with stunning 180-degree views. Watch the cargo ships and fishermen navigate the vast shipping lanes of Puget Sound with Mount Baker, Whidbey Island and the Cascades in the background. Walk to the Point No Point Lighthouse or the Hansville Grocery and Grill on the beach or road. Walk around the Point and catch a view of Mount Rainier and Seattle.

We have a great spot to isolate from others or walk to the public beach by the lighthouse and enjoy the social scene. The beach is considered private in front of the house with only friends and neighbors walking by occasionally.

It is a spacious one-story, three-bedroom home with a sunny courtyard, deck and patio for outdoor dining. There are many sleeping spots with 3 comfy queen beds, a futon, and two couches. Two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen and a great room with amazing views and abundant seating will make your stay very comfortable. We have a washer and dryer, wi-fi, two TV’s, DVD players, games and puzzles and more. Fly a kite, build a sand castle, play croquet, have a barbeque or just lounge on the beach and watch the eagles.

Outings to Kingston, White horse Golf Club and The Point Casino are an easy 15-minute drive. Enjoy day trips to Bainbridge Island, Kingston, Poulsbo, or Port Townsend for great restaurants, shopping and views. For the adventurous, head to the Olympic National Park for hiking, biking, and sightseeing or stay on the Kitsap Peninsula for great mountain biking and kayaking in Port Gamble. For the city experience, take time to ride the ferry across Puget Sound to Seattle and shop the famous Pike Place Market or take the Kingston ferry to enjoy dinner in Edmonds.

Wonderful Stay

It was a magical location and stay! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were pleasantly surprised at how convenient the location was and how spectacular the views were! The host was very communicative and offered lots of ideas and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

The full marine experience

Magical stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Angie’s in Hansville. The house was large, well equipped and clean. The beds were super comfortable and the beach access was unbeatable. For long walks on the beach, this is your getaway! We will definitely be back.

Paradise at Point No Point

We have come to Point No Point for day trips many times. We decided to spend a few days there with my (elderly) parents. The four of us had the perfect time together. The house is wonderful and extremely well equipped. Angie, the owner, is a delight to work with and quickly answered any questions we had. The location cannot be beat. Right on the beach, so many windows in the house to take in the gorgeous views, and plenty of shoreline to walk. Angie had equipped the kitchen well. Truly there was really nothing that disappointed us or felt to be lacking in any way.

Perfect Family Get-a-way!

For the second summer we hosted our little family at this wonderful, well stocked, has everything you need house on the beach. Our Parents own the house on the beach two houses down so we have been coming here for years. Angie's house makes it so easy to come and stay as our family grows.

Simply wonderful!

We had a fabulous time. The house is lovely with incredible views. We enjoyed watching the wide variety of ships and boats go by as well of the eagles, seals and other wildlife. It was easy to find everything we needed from kitchen supplies to towels. The house is very comfortable; perfect for a relaxing time at the beach. We're already talking about when we can return.

Everything about this stay was better than we expected. Angie anticipated every need by providing tasteful and functional amenities at every turn. One could not have asked for a better view, or a more pleasant access to the beach, but Angie enhanced the experience by providing every possible need at our finger tips. The only bad thing was having to leave. We could have stayed there the whole summer,w Hile burned house was getting a facelift. Thank you, Angie, for all your efforts!

The Perfect Place

This was our second stay with Host Angie and we were not disappointed. Angie is the consumate host and her home is georgeous and spotless. Hansville beach getaway

My friend and I needed some re-charging and we chose the perfect spot. The house was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Lots of privacy with the two rooms we used on opposite ends of the house. We happened upon a beautiful weekend in February, and the view was gorgeous, the beach just steps from the door. We had a good time and great food in both Poulsbo and Pt. Townsend. And the television actually works! We had a little glitch with a remote and the owner responded right away. We could not have made a better choice.

Heaven in Hansville

I have rented short term vacation homes all over the world. This is by far the most memorable and finest experience. The views are awe inspiring, the location near lighthouse a plus, beautifully furnished, clean as whistle, we’ll stocked with everything one might have at home including kitchen pantry items. The layout is excellent with spacious living area, fireplaces, high end appliances including laundry facilities. We arrived Christmas week and were greeted with a lovely decorated and lit tree along with stockings hung on the fireplace. We were welcomed with a chilled bottle of wine and treated to a snowfall the night before we had to depart. We want to make this an every year holiday tradition even though we traveled from So Cal to get here. Thank you so much Angie for the best Christmas ever!!!!

Great Beach Location

About the host

Hosted by Angie Van Wyck

Kurt and Angie Van Wyck have lived in the Seattle area since 1991. They raised two children on the Kitsap Peninsula living in both Poulsbo and Indianola. The family decided to keep the lovely house on the beach and share it with friends, family and new guests. Angie manages the property and enjoys biking up to the house from their home in Indianola.

Why they chose this property

Richard Van Wyck grew up in Seattle, graduating from Queen Anne High School. He spent time at a family cabin on the water on Vashon Island every summer. His dream was to have a house on the water in Puget Sound. In 1999, Dick and Delores purchased the Hansville Beach House. They enjoyed having the kids and grandchildren from Indianola and Boston for many weeks in the summer and made many great memories on the beach.

What makes this property unique

This one story home accommodates 6-8 people very comfortably. The location on the beach allows for nice walks to the light house or the quaint area at Norwegian Point to enjoy the Hansgrill and store and the bakery. The large comfortable living room has enough seating for the whole crowd to enjoy socializing and playing games. The sandy beach is a favorite for the kids to play in the sand, play in the water and search for sea glass.
