3 bedroom w/ loft/2 bath lake home, fireplace, across from BWCA,7 miles from Ely
The Otter Den lake home was finished in May 2019. It is just 100′ from the water’s edge of Farm Lake (part of the White Iron Chain of Lakes - approx 7000 acres of water and across from Entry Point 31, N Kawishiwi River). This year around 3 bedroom w/ loft/2 bathroom lake home is air conditioned, has a dishwasher and a freestanding gas fireplace. The lakeside has french doors and large windows for a perfect view of the lake and dock to watch the sunrise in the early morning. Or perhaps grab an Adirondack chair and a book and head out to the end of the dock for some quiet time. Aluminum canoes, sit-on-top kayaks and a paddle boat available at 'no charge'. We also rent kevlar canoes and motorboats. We are a small family owned resort just 7 miles southeast of Ely, MN.
Dogs are ALLOWED December - April for $45 a night/dog. Max of 2 dogs.
Dogs are NOT ALLOWED May - October.

The cabin is beautiful - clean and new and spacious; nicer in persona than the description and photo's from the VRBO. We had 8 adults and did not feel crowded at all. Great views of Farm Lake from inside! The large dinning table allowed for several games to be played at the same time without interupting each other. Could have seated 12 easily for meals. All bedrooms are very large and spacious. Kitchen is arranged to easily cook meals. We all slept hard and very well, maybe due to NO noise from a loud furnace. This is because of the in-floor heating. Each bedroom does have a split system for backup heating/cooling that we didn't need. It is mentioned there are three bedrooms, but actually I would considered the loft a bedroom as it has three full size beds. Overall the place was very comfortable. YES I would highly recommend this place!
Place is immaculate. Super clean. Located right on the water. Communication with property owners was awesome. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place
The new house was perfect for our family. The kids loved to swim in the shallow waters of the bay. We all loved the kayaks and canoe. Evenings around the fire pit were serene. We enjoyed hiking on the nearby trails. Overall, an ideal place for a family get-together.
This cabin is beautiful, spacious, and cozy. We gathered here with extended family to relax and enjoy a nice weekend together while the kids participated in a hockey tournament in Ely. So much better than staying in a hotel. We prepared our own nice meals, including burgers on the grill, snowshoed out on the lake, and spent evenings relaxing around the fire. Beds were very comfortable and heated floors were also a delight. I bet this is an ideal spot in the summertime.
Heated floors were wonderful and the kitchen has everything you need plus. Thank you, Joan and Jim!

Greetings from Moose Track Adventures Lodge, Outfitter, and Guide Service in Ely Minnesota. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves: Jim lived in Ely and operated Four Seasons Adventures, which specialized in custom guided wilderness canoe and fishing trips along with winter dog sledding, and skijoring adventures.
Joan worked in the outdoor gear & clothing industry for eight years where she became knowledgeable of the vast array of outdoor products on the market. We met September 2000 on one of Jim’s guided wilderness canoe trips, which ironically departed from the Farm Lake Access (just down the road from the resort) and a year later we were married and decided to continue our adventure in Ely. We purchased the resort formally known as Ojibway Resort and changed the name to Moose Track Adventures Lodge, Outfitter & Guide Service in September 2002.
We truly enjoy what we do and we place a great deal of pride and satisfaction in the personalized services we provide our customers.
