About this property

Beautiful two bedroom home located just outside of town right across the road from the mighty Mississippi. Lots of space for anything (boats, campers, trailers). Excellent location in Clayton county Iowa. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, hunting are just a few things Northeast Iowa has to offer.

The cabin has two bedrooms with doors with a queen bed and two twin beds. All bed linens are provided for your stay. There is also a queen size air mattress available for use.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans along with dinnerware for all of your cooking needs. A Keurig coffee maker is also available with coffee pods and creamer.

The cabin has a firepit and a grill for you to use. Fire wood is also provided during your stay.

Spoonbills was great

The house/cabin was amazingly clean. It was very cozy and had everything we needed. It was right outside of town so handy to get around. It was a little closer to the highway than we pictured so there was some highway noise. We had a fire in the fire pit and use the grill and, enjoyed everything.

We will definitely stay here again. It is the perfect location for the area. Had such a great time hiking, visiting caves and the winery's & oh can't forget the casino!! Nice to come back at the end of the day to a cozy campfire too!

Short but Sweet

We only stayed 2 nights but the home is so cute and clean! We loved the big front yard for the kids to play! Felt like we were in the country with the conveniences of a town a minute or two away. Would definitely stay here again!!

The cabin is very clean and stocked with everything. Nice home that is accessible to main road. The only thing that it needs are blinds in the bedrooms. It makes me want to stay in a vrbo again.

Welcoming cozy home!

What a great home base while we attended a baseball game at the field of dreams. Very clean, comfortable couches, well stocked kitchen, plush carpet. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice 2 bedroom stay

Enjoyed the updated inside and cleanliness of this property. The linens were nice and also appreciated the extra touches like the Keurig, K-cups, games. Looked like a nice fire pit but didn’t have time to use it.

Looks brand new

Very nice cabin. My wife thought we were the first people to ever stay there it was so clean. Thank you for the bottled water and Popsicles. Only complaint is it advertises "on the mighty Mississippi " and its not. We would stay there again

Excellent stay!

The house was very nice and clean. We spent Memorial Day weekend here and went to some bands at the Lakeside Ballroom and visited Promiseland Winery. This place was close to everything. Loved the decor. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. The hosts had everything we needed.

Cozy little getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a few days here after our wedding! It was cozy and comfortable, just outside of the small town of Guttenberg. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, appliances, and utensils that made it easy and enjoyable to make our own meals. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a few days away!

This cute little 2 bedroom house was perfect for our weekend stay! Within a couple minutes from most amenities, spacious, nice little fire pit out back, and very clean. We will for sure stay here again when we are visiting family!

Very comfortable and clean cabin

We were very impressed with this cabin. It was completely updated, clean and nicely decorated. The furniture was very comfortable and the large television was fun to watch movies on. Gutenberg is a lovely and welcoming town and there are several nearby State Parks for hiking and beautiful vista's. Thanks!

Cute and Cozy

This cabin was cute and super cozy. It had a lot of utensils for cooking and lot of things for our 2-year old to do. The cabin was really updated and super nice! Only complaint would be the curtains are sheer so we used towels to block out the sun while sleeping. We would stay here again and recommend to others!

Cute and cozy

The cabin is super cute with nice finishes. It is very modern and up to date. There were lots of utensils to cook with and a lot of activities for our 2-year old to keep him occupied. Only complaint would be the curtains in the bedrooms are sheer. We used bath towels to block the morning sun. I would recommend this place as well as stay here again!
