Cozy and comfy

My family and I spent a few days here and really enjoyed it. The location is great, in that it is walking distance to the grocery store, which is practically right in the back yard. One thing we did not enjoy was all of the family photos throughout the house. Great-looking people, but my teens said that it made them feel like intruders and they were not very comfortable. So, of all the positive things my family had to say about this experience, the only negative was that maybe the owners should tuck some of the photos away while renting to guests.

Small space for 12

We had 11 to 12 staying and it was a tight space for that many. Seating in living room only for 5-6. Location was awesome on the second row. Not enough kitchen storage for food for this big of a party. AC went out on Wednesday and we could not reach after hours service. Disappointed that there was no grill. Had to cook supper meals in kitchen and that made the temp go to 86 on thermostat. Took all night for temp to come back down to 74.

Location was great.

The home is close to the beach, walk across the street and down a bit. There are views of the ocean from the front porch and front of the house. This may all change when the empty lot across the street is built on though. And there is a lot of new construction going on right now! We struggled to get to the actual beach because of the dunes that had been built up. Soft sand! Perhaps that was done after the last big storm? The linens were rough, sheets and towels, but there seemed to be enough for the six ladies there. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms! This is something we have always had provided, those small hotel bars. Not here. The stairs are hard to manage carrying stuff. Our ladies group ranged from 47-70, with half over 62. The pans in the kitchen were in bad shape, the frying pan rusted. The living room furniture was uncomfortable to sit on to watch tv and our age group does watch in the evenings. There was plenty of covered parking and a grill we used for steaks. The consensus was that it was not the worst of place we have rented for our bi-annual trips but it was not great. We will not rent this home again. I expect for a younger crowd it would be fine.

Girls get away

This home was perfect for our girls get away weekend. We had our own bedroom with Jack and Jill bathrooms between 2 bedrooms. The location was perfect, the house was pretty and clean, and the beds comfortable. Would return here again!
