A FEW COMMENTS BEFORE WE TELL YOU ABOUT OUR PLACE;
***We charge a very low cleaning fee and have no other host fees. We know how annoying those unexpected pop up fees are when you go to book! The only additional fee you will pay is the VRBO booking fee they charge and they keep. You will get a 10% discount off a weekly rental and a 15% discount off a monthly rental.

***This property is a two unit cabin and you are renting the LOWER UNIT which has its own private entrance and deck. This is not a shared space inside, for example; think of a 2 unit condo on nearly half an acre of private wooded land each with their own exterior entries. You can rent both units for large groups or families to sleep a total of 8 people so just ask! The listing number on VRBO for the upper unit is #1391764 so you can see photos and pricing for that unit.

***There are some stairs from the driveway to the cabin entrance, so you must be able to walk up some steps.

Now on to our specific listing description;.

LOCATION;
The Cutest Cabin in Helen sits just off downtown Main Street and the Chattahoochee River. There is no rental home closer to the epicenter of downtown Helen than our place!!! It is the perfect mix of less than a 60 second walk to all the action right in the epicenter of Downtown Helen yet you are set back just enough for some peace and quiet and to enjoy the lovely views and nature from our multiple elevated decks. Note if you are a very light sleeper you may wish to bring ear plugs as you can hear some music and hustle and bustle from town on the weekends at certain times of the year. We provide a floor fan for some white noise as well. Most people are not bothered at all and it never bothers our family, but just letting you know. The Georgia Alpine Coaster is the latest and greatest attraction to Helen and is a 3 minute walk from our property. Not having to drive into town is a huge plus because of the traffic, pricey and crowded parking issues and of course not worrying about getting behind the wheel after drinking a few of those famous German lagers and stouts. Renting a place in Helen where no car is needed is a HUGE PLUS for most people!!!

THE SPACE;
The two unit air conditioned/heated two-level cabin is 1856 square feet under air and has three separate exterior decks both covered and open offering over 2700 square feet in total of indoor and outdoor living space. The lower unit is an open floor plan and lots of windows. The home sits on just under a half acre with a large private driveway for free secure parking. The lower unit also has its own separate entry with one king bed in an open studio style setting - not an enclosed bedroom, a small kitchen dining table with benches, a full size kitchen, a free standing Jacuzzi tub between the bed and the TV so you can watch TV while in the tub. The open en-suite bathroom is large and please note the shower is open and to the main room with a huge walk in shower made for two people with two shower heads. There is a separate toilet closet for privacy. The lower unit has a covered deck space also. It is beautifully decorated and very romantic for couples. You will find it to be furnished for a very comfy stay with everything you need such as; bedding, towels, linens, extensive kitchen items, a wall mounted large flat screen TV with Roku, Netflix and Primes etc, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, deck furniture and some board games for those occasional rainy days. You can rent both units for large groups or families and that will sleep a total of 8 people so just ask! Again, this listing is for the lower unit which sleeps 4 people. It has one king bed and one queen size blow up mattress with a pump for the floor. You need to slide the kitchen table out of the way and you can stand up the mattress or put on top of king bed during the day so it is out of the way. We offer sleeping for 4 people meaning a couple with two children who don't mind the tight fit as the space is really more geared to couples.

THE DÉCOR AND VIEWS;
The woodwork is gorgeous and the decor is super cute with a nice conceptual design throughout. It is true Bavarian style ski chalet from the outside and a dazzling updated cabin filled with charm and character on the inside. You can hear and see the river from our property. When the leaves drop the elevated views of downtown Helen below our property are amazing.

THE TOWN OF HELEN;
If you have never been to Helen before you are in for a treat. It is a Bavarian style town with great beer halls and bars, restaurants and shopping, nature oriented adventures and a ton of family fun activities. By law all architecture must be Bavarian in style, even the fast food joints! In addition, if you want to explore the surrounding areas the natural wonders are incredible for hiking, waterfalls, kayaking, swimming, fishing, golfing, vineyards, etc. During the summer, people tube right down the river in front of our cabin. There are large lakes with public beach access close by and many festivals throughout the year. Helen is the 3rd most visited town in Georgia despite having only 500 full time residents.

IN SUMMARY;
Without a doubt you will not find a better location or a cuter place than ours, all at an affordable rate compared to those run of the mill motels. We also send out a fantastic 10 page trip planner document to all of our guests covering everything from check in procedures and directions to the best restaurants and beer halls and surrounding adventure stuff to do, plus lots more.
