The Powder Pointe Lodge is a stunning, ski in ski out, top of the line, 4 bed / 4 bath single family home that is ideally located directly on the main ski slope of Granby Ranch. With accommodations for up to 8, this gorgeous retreat is the perfect location for skiers, hikers, bikers, golfers and relaxers. With million dollar views, access to some of the finest amenities and luxurious King size beds in every room, Powder Pointe guarantees a memorable getaway.

We are located remotely, but the home is equipped with wifi locks that provide seamless access to the home with your personalized access code that will be sent prior to check-in. Located just 25 minutes past Winter Park on highway 40, Granby Ranch is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We chose this location due to the significant number of activities available year-round and the relaxing atmosphere due to the absence of large crowds found at the larger resorts. Whether it's skiing, tubing, biking, golfing, fishing or just kicking back and relaxing, you can find it all here in Granby Ranch.

Access:

Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels and linens. Ample storage for ski, bike and golf equipment is available in the gear room and on the exterior ski racks. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, patios, porch, and grill are available for your full use. The community pool, located near the entrance to the ski resort, is available for guest use and features a heated pool and hot tub that are available year-round.

Granby Ranch has recently changed their policy for guest use of the community pool and community trails. Here are the details:

Pool: If you would like to use the community pool or hot tub, you will need to purchase a daily guest pass at the pool for $15 (per person, per day, price subject to change). Children 8 and under are free and this also includes access to the clubhouse, game room and fitness center. For a pass to be issued you must provide proof that you are staying in this home. The welcome email or the confirmation email, showing the address, should suffice.

Trails: Granby Ranch is a little different from other ski resorts on federal land. Consisting of trails on primarily private land, all guests riding or hiking on either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Rates and tickets are available on the Granby Ranch website. One exception to this requirement is the Granby-to-Fraser trail, which does not require a pass or waiver.

With a heated driveway and patio, direct access to the slopes, a large gear room and a top of the line whole house automation and speaker system, our guests will want for nothing. This spacious retreat has 4 bedrooms, three of which have stunning views of the ski slope.

The home provides multiple living areas with ample room for your group to lounge after a day of outdoor adventures. An open concept main level living area with a gorgeous stone fireplace, huge walkout basement lounge with bar and multiple outdoor living spaces will help guests relax and unwind. With all its space, this home still maintains a cozy, welcoming and elegant feel. It’s warm, high end finishes and comfortable furnishings provide a homey touch to this mountain getaway. Two decks and a patio provide plenty of space to fire up the grill and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

After a fun day on the slopes, you will find plenty of storage for all your gear with a dedicated gear/mud room and exterior racks for skis/boards. This large, heated room allows you to store your boots and snow gear without cluttering the main living areas and provides direct access to and from the slope. Once you have hung your wet coats and hats up to dry, you’ll be ready to head upstairs and enjoy all the finer features this home has to offer. Stream music from your device while cooking in a well stocked kitchen, or kick your feet up and enjoy one of the six TVs, or perhaps head outside to the heated back patio and watch the skiers (or bikers) race down the hill.

Note: The home is equipped with a garage, but it will not be available for renter use. There is ample parking available for guests in the driveway.

Kitchen:

The kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances, a gas range, and an outdoor grill. Included in the kitchen are supplies for cooking and baking, including utensils and knives. Dishes and glassware, as well as a crock pot, toaster and blender are also in this fully stocked kitchen. There are basic spices, as well as a fully-automatic espresso machine. There is dining table outside to enjoy the amazing view as well.

Sleeping arrangements:

Master (sleeps 2): main level master features a king size bed, large walk-in closet, connected bathroom with dual sinks, a soaking tub and shower, TV, stereo, and breathtaking views.

2nd bedroom (sleeps 2): upper guest room with a king size bed and TV. Near a full size bathroom.

3rd bedroom (sleeps 2): lower junior suite with a queen size bed, TV, and attached bathroom.

4th bedroom - large, lower level bedroom (sleeps 2): this is a large bedroom with a walk in closet, TV and a sofa. Near a full size bathroom.

One pack-n-play is available for guest use.

We love that it is located right on the slope, brand new, and professionally decorated in a soft contemporary style. We also love the gorgeous views and heated driveway, stairs and back patio. The gear room to store skis and snow gear is extremely convenient, as is the Control4 home automation system. One of our favorite activities is to watch the Granby Ranch New Years Eve Fireworks right from the expanded back deck.
