Situated steps from the famous El Dorado Hotel and Manteo Resort, Playa del Sol is minutes away from a wide range of activities and attractions such as award winning wineries, first class golf courses, biking & hiking trials, boating & water sports, museums & art galleries, festivals & farmer’s markets, and pristine fruit orchards.
We welcome you to come and stay at our little piece of paradise and consider Suite 370 your home while you’re away. It is one of a handful of condos located away from the resort’s main apartment style building and is accessed through a secluded landscaped mezzanine with your own walk-out entrance conveniently located on pool level.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom vacation home offers a unique feature of not only one but two private outdoor spaces. Picture yourself at day’s end, on the quiet creekside balcony enjoying a glass of Okanagan wine or relaxing in the front courtyard while the kids run and play or go for one last dip in the pool before you fire up the BBQ.

Pampered

We love it from the moment we walked in! Our favourite spot was sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek, enjoying the wildlife such as deer, ducks, woodpeckers and bats, the children loved this. The location was perfect, merely a 5 minute walk from the beach. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome with wine, chocolate, coffee and my favourite item was a puzzle, something to do when it was a little too hot out! I would definitely recommend it to everyone! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

A get get away

Our family had a celebration of life for our parents and the stay was perfect. A pool, close to the beach and rental of water toys, restaurants and common areas for a family potluck dinner. A great holiday

Nice condo close to the lake

This is a nice unit especially if you have kids. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The beds were VERY comfortable and the A/C was great to have in the hot weather. Black out blinds great for sleeping. The pool deck was great and the 4ft deep pool good for kids. The keyless entry locks made it easy for the kids to get in and out. The area of town is lovely & walking distance to two beaches & some restaurants.

Okanagan Break

A very large building with little done to keep outside areas clean. Cobwebs, leaves, and litter everywhere including cigarette butts in this "nonsmoking" building. The "welcome book" in the suite is inaccurate, there is no landline phone to allow guests to access the building remotely and the games room advertised in the book is off limits to renters and has been since the beginning of the pandemic for "safety reasons" but the exercise room is open to anyone. Surely a contradiction. The suite is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are 10" steps down from the front door and balcony. The counters and a small glass-topped table were dirty and there was thick dust on some surfaces. Not been dusted for a long while. Lighting in the kitchen is poor, no light under the microwave oven making it hard to see pans on the stovetop. We had to wipe round in the kitchen and sweep the balcony as soon as we got there to make it inhabitable. Not impressed with Maids Gone Green. Gone missing is more accurate. Only 5 coffee mugs in a suite claiming to house 6, but enough glasses to open a bar.

The suite was equipped with all the kitchen appliances/utensils you could possibly need, some outdoor supplies, as well as a complimentary bottle of wine. Very clean. Great communication prior to the stay and during. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated. Cozy and very clean. Everything you need was there. Just like home. Nice touch with all the extra’s. Chairs, cooler etc. The overall building itself outside of the condo unit. Areas of walking could use a wash with a hose. Lots of dirt and leaves and pollen.

Fully equipped

We had an amazing stay in a condo that could not have been cleaner! The kitchen was also fully equipped from a blender to crock pot! They had beach chairs and umbrellas as well as a cool to use. The location was minutes walk to the beach and about 7 to 10min drive to other major attractions. Grocery store was super close as well. For how busy downtown is already (June) it was so nice to be 7 min away. It has a private entrance from a beautiful garden terrace and steps from the pool. We can't wait to come back.

Cute little place

The check-in process was quick and painless. We’ve had horrific experiences at another place in Kelowna (a # of times) so to be in and settled in a matter of a few minutes was very much appreciated. The overall place is very cute and clean. The back deck space is quiet and serene, a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The one downside to this place is location. Although close to a beach, it’s not walking distance to downtown which is typically where we spend our days (splash park/park/restaurants).

Wonderful resort in a great location

Our family enjoyed our week long stay here at Playa Del Sol! 2 grandparents and 2 kids, lots of activities nearby for everyone. We were 6 in the unit, 4 would be better as the pull out sofa needs a topper. Otherwise the unit was spacious for all of us and had everything we needed.

Lively stay in Kelowna

This was a amazing vacation rental in a fantastic complex. The unit was updated, clean and stylishly decorated to make it feel like a home away from home. The owners have appointed the unit with everything you need and more. Upon arrival we were welcomed by tray of treats and a Welcome binder with everything you need to know about the unit, complex and surrounding area. The condo was great for our family of four. This unit had both a front patio facing a lush courtyard and a lovely deck overlooking a creek and greenway. This complex is located in a great part of Kelowna close to beaches, a marina, shops, and lots of amazing restaurants. We will be recommending this place to friends and family and will hopefully be back ourselves.

Perfect home base for exploring Kelowna

When you wake up at this condo you instantly feel like you’re on vacation. The hosts took extra care to make us feel welcome and we had everything we needed for a relaxing week. The hardest decision was whether to spend the sunny days poolside or on the beach! The location can’t be beat, no matter your interests. Wineries, restaurants, beaches, breweries - we have some new favourite spots and will definitely be back for more!

Home away from home! Great Experience

This place is like no other. Cannot compare to a hotel or typical short term rentals. Safe, secure, and the perfect place for families or individuals. There was certainly lots of thought that went into designing this place to make it feel like home. This home is perfect for short or longer stays as it has an in suite laundry and full size kitchen which makes extended stays very comfortable. The suite was very clean all over which is very important to us as we have had some horrible experiences with cleanliness; seriously a 10/10. If you’d like to stay close to home but enjoy the outdoors; this suite has two sitting areas, one being directly at the front door as unlike other apartments or hotels, this unit has exterior entry, and the other being a massive rear patio. The location was perfect as it is under a 5 minute walk from the Rotary Beach Park and under 10 minute drive to Downtown Kelowna. Your search ends here.. BOOK THIS PLACE!

Great Stay in August 2020

We really enjoyed our week long stay here. The condo is in a perfect location, walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The unit was very clean and even nicer than the pictures showed. The pool was busy but lots of space on the pool deck. We will definitely come back to this property.

Fantastic unit, responsive owner, great vacation

Our recent stay in unit 370 was great! The unit was VERY clean and comfortable. The decor made it feel very much like a cozy lake house. The unit was well isolated so sound was not an issue and it is also tucked away in a small courtyard. The pool is just across a set of doors and the rotary beach is a 5 min walk away and is great for families. The unit also had great beach supplies for renters which was amazing. Within 5 minutes drive you will find grocery, liquor store and pharmacy. We used the kitchen often as it was very well appointed and the balcony BBQ was great. The owner was very responsive and answered all our questions and concerns prior to leaving given the current pandemic. We also appreciated our welcome gift! We would certainly come back again.

Lake House Condo

We have just returned from a nine night stay in this lovely condo. The owners have done an amazing work decorating the condo in a true "lake house" spirit, that will create lasting memories. The place is meticulously clean and the owners have taken extra precautions due to Covid-19 situation such as sanitizing all door handles, light switches, kitchen knobs, and all touchable surfaces, before your check-in. Sanitizers are also available for your use. The kitchen has all you will need for your stay. BBQ is also available on the balcony. The owners even provided us with a lovely surprise when we checked-in. They have also created a comprehensive "Condo User Manual", that was very useful. We have used dozens of suites around the world, and we never encountered such a comprehensive manual. Great location, no need to leave the resort 😊

Arrived early and was able to check in earlier than expected. Place was awesome, nice and clean and lots of space to entertain also a large front and back patio. A short walk to the pool which was also a plus as it made for a quieter location. Kendra greeted us showed us around the resort and upon arrival we received wine and chocolates which was very much appreciated. Would love to come back next year for a longer period. Thank you

Great Get Away

Our family of 4 had a wonderful week long stay. The condo had everything we needed to prepare meals with local fresh food, do a bit of laundry and even chairs to sit at the beach. It was very clean and well kept. We would definitely stay there again. My teenagers really appreciated the old school Nintendo game system!

Just a little about us. Maciej and I and our two amazing children are from beautiful BC currently living in the Lower Mainland. Maciej grew up on the Sunshine Coast and I grew up in just outside of Vancouver in a suburb called Coquitlam.

We’ve been visiting Kelowna for many years as the heat and dry weather is a welcome change when living near the coast. Over the years, we have fallen in love with the city and all it has to offer. Let’s face it, Kelowna is remarkably beautiful. You can’t go wrong when you are surrounded by vineyards, orchards, farmer’s markets and golf courses! Who wouldn’t want to own a little piece of this lakeside paradise. So, when an opportunity presented itself to own a rental property in 2018 we jumped at it!

Why they chose this property

What really appealed to us about this property in particular was its location. Within walking distance of the lake, the marinas, restaurants and shops as well as walking/biking trails. What attracted us to suite 370 itself, was its unique features offering a private entrance away from the main building and its two outdoor spaces.

Located on the south side of Kelowna, the Lower Mission is conveniently near the lake, downtown, and all that Kelowna has to offer.

Beautiful public beaches and lake access points, the H20 aquatic and fitness centre, and the CNC recreation centre make this neighbourhood highly sought-after for families. Lakefront resorts and marinas, magnificent walking and hiking trails (including the Mission Creek Greenway), and world-class wineries attract active individuals and those who really want to pursue the Okanagan lifestyle.

What makes this property unique

For us, being located away from the general apartment style condominium is a huge benefit. Our creekside entrance walks out on to a landscaped mezzanine which provides a private and quiet environment. We also enjoy that our suite is on the same level as the pool, hot tub and fitness centre so they are all easily accessible.

Another benefit that attracted us to suite 370 are the two outdoor spaces. You can fire up the BBQ on the back balcony overlooking the creek, or relax in the front courtyard with a view of the landscaped mezzanine and let the kids run around and play.
