Had a great stay. loved exploring the grounds with my dog. incredible sunset views and the pool was amazing. If you're someone who needs the thermostat at 68 degrees, then you might be a little warm during the summer months... there's a window mounted AC in the bedroom where it matters most at night. did the trick for me. Excited to stay again
The property was a beautiful, large open space with wildlife, sun and a great get away from the city. The unit was small but well designed and comfortably fit me and my partner. Bed was comfortable. We experienced a few issues and the host was extremely responsive. We wish the property was a little better taken after - the pool had debris on the bottom we could not clean on our own, cobwebs on the outdoor furniture, and lots of windblown debris on the tennis courts. We were looking forward to the amenities listed like horseshoes and hiking trails, but we found these overgrown and largely unusable without a trail map.
We were only here for a short wedding weekend, but wish we had longer to stay at this comfortable and charming property! Complete with a pool and gorgeous views overlooking rolling green hills and a vineyard. We weren’t able to take advantage of the large surrounding property, with tennis courts and hiking trails, so I guess we will just have to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
A very remote feeling accommodation with access to off leash dog adventures with outstanding views. The cottage is small but has everything you need, is light and airy with a view from every window. A two level deck in the back provides private outside relaxation...good for yoga, reading, a dip in the little pool (cold) or a sunny afternoon nap! The property in general looks to be set up for events and/or group camping with dedicated campsites with hookups...not sure if they are functional.
Property is situated between several wineries....Cass is a great stop for wine and good food!
A note if you are planning on cooking: the only things stocked were salt and pepper....you need to bring all of your own seasonings, oils, whatever you normally use, and coffee.
Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for peace and quiet.

We had our dogs with us, and there is a gap in the area by the pool where they can get out. That was interesting, but fortunately it all worked out well.
The place is adorable. The location is spectacular. It is remote and WAZE was helpful but completely accurate.
I love this place and can’t wait to come back again when it isn’t raining!
It was my husband and I and our 2 dogs.
It was perfect for us the dogs roamed freely outside and the location was perfect easy to get to town and the lake. The pool was awesome 👏 and the guidebook they had was great we ate at the best restaurants! We will be back every year next time we’ll bring our boat.
If you’re looking for a place in the heart of downtown action, this is not it. If you’re looking to get away from it all, rent this place. It was small but had everything you need including a pool. Mornings and evenings we were visited by numerous deer. Additionally, you are minutes from wine tasting and the serenity of a lush vineyard. The place was clean, adequately appointed, and very private. What a gem!!
Everything was great except that most of the reason I booked it was for the pool, which was SO frigid despite being over 100 both days, it was totally unusable. It clearly has a heater but was not working / turned on. That was a disappointment. Otherwise beautiful and very private.
The pictures don't do this property justice. The ranch is private, with an electronic gate to enter. The codes were provided ahead of my stay so I never had to worry about checking in. The Hideaway House itself is like a vision when you pull around a cute "barn" they must use for events. The landscaping is gorgeous and lush. The property is just as it is pictured but what I wasn't prepared for is the views as soon as you walk in the front door. The house itself is small and long so the entire back of the property overlooks the deck and the rolling hills. Because the home is narrow, you're never far from a window and the view. I didn't come for the view but I'll never forget it. Here's things to know about the home: it's essentially one space, the bedroom is not behind a door but the bed is tucked away so feels semi private, if privacy matters for your stay. There is one window AC unit in the bedroom. This all worked out for us but may not if you run warm and/or are sleeping in the living room. The pool is not heated and was refreshing but never "warm". The outside area is generally safe for dogs but the fence and deck railing don't connect in two small areas. I used patio furniture to block the escape routes to avoid losing my very curious terrier. Worked perfect. Property is about 15-20 min from town. It's an escape and feels like one. Can't wait to go back!

Why they chose this property
This property is magical. It feels worlds away from civilization but is only 12 min from downtown Paso with its restaraunts, galleries, tasting rooms, and activities. We're walking distance to several wineries. And nature abounds on the property, from dozens of deer to red tail hawks and golden eagles soaring through the canyon. It's really an amazing stay.
What makes this property unique
Location. Views. Nature. Seclusion and restoration.
