Welcome to "Amazing Grace" located in Etowah Valley, nestled in the mountains of Western N.C.. It is located directly in between Hendersonville & Brevard and is only 15 minutes from the Asheville Airport, 30 minutes from Asheville and 5 minutes from Etowah Valley 27 hole Golf Course/ Resort. With several breweries within 15 to 20 minutes away.
Excellent for mountain bikers, hikers, and golfers. We have 4 maps for your convenience to plan your day on the DuPont Trails or National Pisgah Forest. Or you could spend your day or evening by sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the view.
This new 1,300 sg ft home includes a large master bedroom with a king size bed, 1 bathroom shower/ tub and a upper full size deck to view the sunrises. The main level has a full size kitchen that is fully equipped, dining area and living room with a rock fireplace with gas logs. The living room has an over-sized "L" shaped sofa that could be used as a sofa bed.

Lovely Home away from Home

This home was one of the best we have ever stayed at, with a wonderful and gracious host. Debbie was available to answer all our questions and needs and her special touches were in every room. Comfortable bed, linens, snack basket, wonderful covered porch with swing, beautiful landscaping, we enjoyed it all. The location is great, convenient to so many places to hike and the town of Brevard is one of our favorites. We will plan our future trips to the NC mountains with a stay here on the agenda! Highly recommend!

Comfy cottage

The property was great, very clean, nice upper deck to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine with a view. Also enjoyed evening fires at the outdoor firepit. Great location to Hendersonville and Brevard which are beautiful towns with great main streets full of shops and restaurants. In addition also close to Ashville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and a brewery on every corner. The host Debbie was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating.

Great couple retreat near great hiking and downtown Hendo!

Quiet, wonderful couple retreat convenient to waterfalls hike in DuPont; and Looking Glass Rock hike in Pisgah. Loved the location, home, and amenities. Would recommend to other couples! Hostess was fab with great communication!

Restful getaway

Perfect Getaway

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this property and the host Debbie. I chose this home because of all the excellent reviews…and they were all spot on! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood setting with a lovely view from the deck and fire pit area. The house is warm and cozy and stocked with everything needed to make it feel like home. Debbie, the host is very communicative and accommodating. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven and would not hesitate to book again!

The perfect cozy retreat

What an amazing vacation rental this was. So clean and the view was outstanding. It was furnished with everything you would need for a great vacation. Fall get-a-way

We found the cottage beautifully appointed and decorated. The only recommendation I would make is to add a step stool in the bedroom as the bed mattress sits high (I am 5’2” and had trouble getting onto the bed) even my hubby who is 6’ found it high. Mattress and linens were lovely and comfy. Kitchen had everything you could need. The welcome basket with treats was a lovely touch. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Beautiful display of fall colors too! Lovely mountain view from balcony. Lovely spot to enjoy the sunset.

Amazingly wonderful

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The cabin is beautiful, clean, extremely well stocked (Debbie has the nicest wine bottle opener I’ve ever used), secluded and private but not far from stores and trails, the view from both of the porches is heavenly, the bed is so comfortable and she had plenty of extra pillows and blankets, she provided firewood and a basket of treats… I could go on for hours! Debbie was probably my favorite bnb host I’ve ever had! She was attentive to details and available whenever I needed her, but gave us our privacy too. She was so accommodating and even let us stay late on checkout day. I can’t wait to head back to the Asheville area and stay with her again!

Wonderful Cabin

We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years and this has been one of the best! Beautiful home, clean and stylish. Everything has been well thought out for the comfort of guests. The location is fantastic, extremely private but certainly not isolated. So convenient to great hiking trails and several towns. The owner is very kind and thoughtful. We can't say enough good about this property and highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

Property was as advertised! Great getaway for couples! Private location between Brevard and Hendersonville with excellent shopping, breweries and restaurants nearby. Owner’s touches are truly uplifting!! Definitely lives up to its name! Hope to visit again soon!

Outstanding place

We were really happy when we walked in and saw this very clean and cozy cabin with a quiet and great location. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the fall colors were fabulous. We enjoyed the front porch swing as we could see the white squirrels and all the brids.

Yes, Amazing Grace is amazing!

It impossible to do Amazing Grace justice in a short review. It was our first Vrbo stay and Debbie has set an incredibly high bar. She has provided everything you might need for a memorable stay. The house itself is very clean and inviting. We literally felt at home while we were there. For relaxing in the evening or for a nap after a tough hike, there is arguably the most comfortable couch ever, with cushions and super soft throws. Debbie provides maps for great hiking areas and a notebook with information on attractions, restaurants, etc. The king sized bed is perfect for a good night's sleep. There are also several types of pillows and additional blankets/quilts in the roomy walk-in closet, along with an iron and ironing board and lots of hangers. I'm telling you...Debbie has thought of everything! We were lucky enough to be there when the leaves were changing and the view from the upper balcony was really beautiful. If you are staying in the Asheville, Brevard, Hendersonville area, I cannot recommend Amazing Grace enough for your North Carolina getaway. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely want to stay there.

Perfect cabin, perfect location, perfect host

We loved this rental! It was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. Debbie, the host, provided many extras you don’t normally find in other rentals and these were much appreciated. We loved relaxing on the second floor deck with the beautiful view after a full day of adventures. The location was also great as it wasn’t far from all the hiking we wanted to do and close to Hendersonville and Brevard. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

A little piece of heaven on earth!

Amazing Grace was the perfect mountain getaway! A beautiful, immaculate, cozy home with breathtaking views and no detail left undone. I have to say however that our host, Debbie, went above and beyond! She communicated with us from the moment we reserved, to listening with care and compassion as we journeyed away from the hurricane in Florida. The same care and compassion are felt throughout the details in her home, a welcome peace that was very much needed. Thank you! We look forward to returning soon!

It's our anniversary

We go up to the Asheville every year for our anniversary and this has been the best trip so far. Home is situated in a great little neighborhood but is also very private. It was very common to see deer and white squirrels on the property and in the neighborhood. The property was also centrally located to Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard. It was also ideally situated to mountain biking in the area. Dupont, Pisgah and Mills River areas are all within 20-30 minutes away. Debbie was also great and very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to come back in the future and might have to start going more than once a year.

Amazing Grace was Amazing.

Well kept and equipped A-frame cabin. Big yard for the dog. Great views. Only 10 miles or so to DuPont Forrest and Pisgah Forrest for biking and hiking. Owner is very responsive.
