Family-friendly Home

My place is close to great views, restaurants, beaches, and bike trails. It is a 5 minute walk from a shopping center and a short drive from Monterey, Carmel, and 17-mile-drive. You'll love my place because it is a beautiful, clean, remodeled, sunny house with lots of space for parking. The climate in this area is fairly moderate around 60’s and 70’s, so air conditioning is not needed. My place is good for couples, business trips, and families.

Great house, easily comfortable for 4 couples, superb location, ten minute walk to a dozen or more restaurants, fifteen minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to Laguna Seca (40 minutes with heavy traffic). *just don’t follow the GPS that takes you through Seaside High School, the gate is typically closed on that route. Ten out of ten!!!

Pricey for the location and quality
The house was large enough, but for the price, the mattresses and pillows should all be replaced. We splurged and spent more on this rental than we had for any of our previous 10 years. Didn’t work out as we had hoped. Sound transmission was a problem for us with an infant in the family. After 7 pm, we all had to whisper, and through the night when the baby woke up, we all heard his cries and every footstep above us. Was a challenging place for our family stay. Very little within walking distance in this suburban neighborhood, so be sure to have a car.

Comfortable place to unwind
We absolutely loved this house. The layout was spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The view of the water was great, and the sunroom quickly became our favorite spot to relax and read. The location was perfect, just a short drive to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Work-cation
Our construction team stayed at the house for a couple of projects in Sand City. The house is very large and has a great backyard we enjoyed barbecuing in. Lots of space and we never felt cramped. The laundry room was a plus.

Quick family trip to the coast
This property was perfect for our needs. A decent sized kitchen and close to the beach and shopping, it gave us an ideal home base for trips to Monterey and state and national parks. I would advise bringing extra towels, as the ones provided were quite small and there were no additional towels anywhere I could find. If you have to take an extra shower after a trip to the beach, for instance, you had no way to dry off because the only towel provided was still wet. I suppose you could run the towels through the dryer, but the dryer was outside and the room it was in was kind of smelly, so nobody really wanted to go in there. Also serving utensils like salad tongs were lacking. Overall an excellent experience, however. I would book this property again and just bring my own stuff.

Lovely relaxing time
Great place to stay and visit Monterey. There were 4 of us all over the age 65 including our 95 yr. old mother. We stayed two nights. The kitchen and living room, plus a master bedroom are upstairs. Mom did just fine going up and down the stairs. Beds and rooms were comfortable and I wish we could have stayed longer. It was cold when we went and we would have loved to have spent some time in both the front and back yards. Loved the garden plants. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the upstairs was pretty at night. We would go back again.

Great house for graduation
The property was very clean and perfect for our group of six people. The location was great as we were in town for CSUMB graduation. Would definitely recommend this property if you are in the Monterey area.

Perfect girls weekend
The house was perfect for our girls group get-away! Each of us had our own rooms, with comfy beds, and lots of space to play cards and visit. Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything we wanted to do! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Seaside getaway
The house is spacious and comfortable. It has a lovely patio with a little view of the ocean and is conveniently located near the ocean and shopping. The kitchen has everything for cooking meals, which we used a lot for entertaining. Its a short drive to Monterey and pacific grove, which was nice.

Great Family Trip
We enjoyed our stay! Great place for a large gathering. The only thing that isn’t clear in the description is that there is a sunroom that sleeps 3-4 more people. The listing just has the 4 bedrooms. So close to the beach and so many fun activities. We will happily stay again!

Great home for easy access to Laguna Seca
This is a great home in a fantastic location. 10 minute walk to the beach, 5-10 minute walk to a dozen or more restaurants. The drive way is long enough to park a GMC Yukon XL and a 22 foot trailer for your race car. 20 minutes to Laguna Seca. Spacious bedrooms, nice kitchen and dinning area.

Perfect Family Gathering Place
Would recommend and reserve this place again, in a heartbeat. It’s close to all the attractions, easy access to the freeway and in a great neighborhood. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sunroom upstairs and the front or backyard were perfect outdoor hangouts.
