As location goes you won't get more central than this property in the heart of the city. The property is situated on one of Galway City's Historic Streets. This stylish townhouse enjoys fabulous views of St Nicholas Church, the Cathedral and Farmers Market. The property was finished with comfort in mind. The beds offer comfortable mattresses and the living area has large recliners that make you feel like your staying in a relaxing five star hotel. You can cook up a storm in the kitchen or simply step out to one of the nearby gourmet eateries Galway has to offer. After all your shopping and eating you can lie back and enjoy a long relaxing soak in the bath.

Our unique city centre location connects Shop Street and the Latin Quarter. Restaurants, bars, shopping and nightlife are all on your doorstep and accessible on foot. Galway offers a host of events throughout the year from Galway international Arts Festival, Galway Fringe Fest, Seafest, Galway Races and Oyster festival to name but a few. Galway is the only City along the wild Atlantic Way and has something to offer everyone. From traditional Irish music to theatres you won't be stuck for entertainment.

Accommodation was cancelled the week we were due to stay and different accommodation was provided but it was definitely not up to the standard we would normally like to stay in. Host did offer a partial refund to compensate

Wonderful place in the Heart of the City Center. Kevin was a great host and even gave wonderful recommendations. Whenever I'm back in Ireland will definitely book again!

Best Location for Everything
Stepping outside the door and going one block left, there's top places for trad music, Claddagh Jewelers and an easy walk to any place you want to go. We walked to the harbor, the Spanish Arch, the Cathedral, and all along Shop and High street, and then finally to the train station. The place is spacious, very clean and user-friendly. Kevin provided recommendations that were appreciated and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was great to be in the middle of everything at a place that was so comfortable. Thank you Kevin!

In the heart of Galway
We had a great time in Galway thanks to the location of the Townhouse so central to everything. It worked great for us as a central point to walk to taking an all day trip to the Aran Islands as well as the Cliffs of Moher. The night life and food around the area is incredible with some of the best buskers you'll fined anywhere.

Quiet retreat in the middle of the action!
Great location - with access to groceries, farmers market, pubs, restaurants, musical entertainment and shopping. With all of the activities, it was very quiet in the living space and when sleeping. The living space was very comfy as were the beds! Everything we needed was provided plus we were provided bottled water, tea, and coffee to drink and graciously were greeted with a delicious piece of cake. The bakery across the street had yummy almond croissants for breakfast treats! Great cheese and olive shop around the corner. We enjoyed tours: Cliffs of Moher and Aran Island visit. The International Arts Festival was a bonus and we enjoyed visiting galleries and attending plays. I would recommend booking tickets for the plays and such in advance as they do sell out. Galway has something for everyone! We would definitely recommend this apartment space to our friends!

City center. Easy to get around
The condo is located right on the pedestrian walkway so very easy to get around. The condo is simple and has the essentials. The only negatives are the shower water pressure was weak and Kev said he would look into fixing that. Also not under the owner’s control - noisy revelries late into the day from the nearby bar and dark and dirty stairs and landings getting to the apartment. Again out of the owner’s control. Overall this apartment and Galway are central to places to go and coach busses for tours. Enjoyed it very much.

Great location and wonderful apartment
The apartment is in the heart of the Latin Quarter so steps from the door to the building are loads of bars, restaurants, shopping and the weekend market. However, the apartment is 3 floors up (there is a lift) and faces away from the Quarter so it’s not too noisy at night. The apartment is 2 stories with the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The stairs are pretty steep if that’s a concern. The living space and kitchen are a good size and comfortable. The apartment was well stocked with soaps, shampoo and paper goods. Kev provided water and chocolate to welcome us. The apartment has a homey feel and was perfect for exploring Galway and then being able to retreat to a quiet, comfortable place. Being in the heart of the Quarter does mean that you can’t park at the apartment if you have a car. There’s many parking lots around so finding a place to park isn’t too hard. We parked at the docks because it had a 24 hour rate of 8 euro. It meant we had around a 5 minute walk but that was fine us. Some of the parking lots had much higher rates so you will want to do some research if you care. Working with Kev was great. He was quick to respond, helpful and welcoming.

Zentraler geht es fast nicht mehr. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Zentrum, leider auch im Trubel. Wir waren am Wochenende da und es wurde bis 4 Uhr morgens in den Straßen gelärmt und gefeiert. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Die Ausstattung ist toll, die Wohnung sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Sofa ist total bequem mit Fußteilen zum Ausklappen. Negativ: Ich habe erst einen Tag vor Anreise per Email den Türcode erhalten. Da ich unterwegs keine Emails abrufen konnte, hatten wir einige Probleme, um mit Hilfe des Kundenservices die entspechenden Infos zu erhalten. Es ist niemand vor Ort, der bei Problemen zur Verfügung steht. Die Wohnung ist eher für ein Paar mit zwei Kindern gedacht als für 4 Erwachsene, denn es gibt nur ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett und eins mit zwei Einzelbetten, wovon eins sehr kurz ist. Dieses Zimmer ist extrem klein und man kann noch nicht mal die Kleidung vernünftig unterbringen. Die Dusche ist eine Katastrophe, der Wasserdruck so gering, dass man Ewigkeiten duschen muss. Trotzdem ist es eine sehr schöne Wohnung und wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Es gibt Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das nächste Mal meiden wir einfach das Wochenende.

Amazing location with all the bells and whistles
We loved this property. The location is in the heart of all the action and somehow manages to keep it quiet on the home front by being tucked away up a couples of stories on an inner courtyard. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment very clean with everything you need. Actually, there was so many added touches. A well equipped kitchen, bottled water in the fridge and even a delicious pastry from a sweet French cafe across the street to welcome us. The owners were so helpful as well. Highly recommend this sweet gem.

The apartment was beautiful and located right in the center of Galway. The apartment was very easy to get in and out of. Kev and Cliona provided several recommendations for what to do around the city and left waters and a welcome treat in the fridge! They made us feel very welcome and I would definitely stay with them again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Galway. The unit was well equipped with plenty of comfy blankets and towels and everything we needed in the kitchen for our stay. It is perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful pedestrian streets of old downtown. A short walk to countless fantastic Irish restaurants with live music and dancing right outside the door to enjoy every day. Shops, friendly locals and happy tourists all enjoying the market at your doorstep on Saturday mornings. It exceeded all our expectations.
