Our direct oceanfront, ground-floor condo (#3126) is a sweet, clean and comfortable unit located only steps from the ocean at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort. This condo is filled with thoughtful, artistic touches in a tropical theme throughout -- including original artwork by notable North Florida artists -- and pride of ownership is apparent in every room. New custom sofa sleeper & two new cushioned swivel rocking chairs added in February 2024! Still getting new pictures, so bear with us. The solid, well-built resort as a whole offers many amenities, including free activities through partnerships with local businesses. Stay caught up with the news and your social media updates with in-condo WiFi, and relax in our living room looking out on a common grassy area with the dunes beyond. Only steps from the ocean walkway! Bathrooms include a glassed-in shower in the master bath and a deep-soaking tub in the guest bath.

Unlike the non-oceanfront ground-floor units in the resort, our condo doesn't look out on a parking lot! It's private, with very little foot traffic in front of the back patio, which looks out on a common grassy area with the dunes and ocean directly beyond. Your view is of marsh and dunes. We love the wildlife we are close to! Our dunes offer both a protective buffer and a peaceful view, with tortoises & rabbits and curious herons seen frequently in the brush and hawks, ospreys and pods of pelicans flying overhead. The common area between our patio and the dunes is carefully maintained by the resort. From our patio, you'll only walk a few steps to the boardwalk, which offers a nice sitting area of benches for sipping your favorite beverage and looking out on the ocean. Just beyond, you'll encounter the sand and beautiful sea of St. Augustine Beach, a gem on Florida's Atlantic Coast.

Our resort is gated, family-oriented and secure, with a caring on-site management staff to answer questions or provide additional advice on local attractions. The ground-floor location of our condo affords easy access to the beach, and makes loading and unloading supplies & groceries a breeze -- no steps or elevators to worry about. We're approximately 1/2 mile to Publix plaza (supermarket, salons, restaurants, etc.) and an easy drive to all beach restaurants. We're also only about 15 minutes to the historic sites, restaurants and activities you'll find in the famous Old City of St. Augustine.

The resort has two pools, one heated year-round, and Jacuzzis in several buildings. All of these amenities, along with tennis courts and a shuffleboard court, are easily walkable from our unit and available for everyone's enjoyment.

Our unit features 16 x 16 tiled floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, stylish and comfortable furniture, updated vanities in bathrooms with solid-surface countertops and tumbled marble countertops in kitchen. Sleeps six total, with plush queen bed in master, Sealy plush twin beds in guest bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room.

St. Augustine Beach is maintained by the city and always pristine, unlike some other areas nearby. We have owned and dearly loved our condo for 19 years (in 2023) -- and ask only that guests treat our unit as they would their own property, gently and with care, as we have.
