About this property

The house, 51m2 duplex, is in a small condominium (5 apartments in 2 buildings). A 2-space car park (one behind the other) is available. Right next to it, you have a 14m2 covered terrace.
On the ground floor, the refurbished kitchen, fully equipped (details below), is open to the living / dining room. Emphasis has been placed on child safety (anti-tip drawers, grill to protect the cooking plate, oven with cold door).
The living room is equipped with a sofa bed (Bultex mattress).
The bay window opens onto a 40m2 garden with a beautiful sea view. Two deckchairs and a garden table are present.
A washing machine is available.

Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms, each with individual air conditioning, a toilet and a bathroom.
The first bedroom has a double bed (140 × 190), the second has two single beds (90 × 190). The bedding is brand new and of very good quality. Each bedroom has a closet.
The WC and the shower room overlook the scrub, the two bedrooms have a beautiful sea and mountain view.

Prices include household linen (sheets / towels / tea towels) provided and cleaning included.

We would like to point out that the linen supplied is made from organic cotton.

Simple house that did not quite meet our expectations.

The house lacks many little things, nothing serious but we didn't really feel comfortable. For example, there were no chair or anything else in the bedroom to lay down our clothes and in the kitchen there are only very small drinking glasses. Unfortunately, the way to the beach is along the big street, which is not very nice, especially in the evening. The terrace and the very small garden are unfortunately right next to the car park of the 5 apartment parties. The contact with the owner is very nice and helpful.

Maison très agréable

Nous sommes parties tous les jours pour changer de plage. la maison est bien située, belle vue , très bien équipée, cependant l’accès est dangereux pour sortir et aller à la plage à pied. Impossible de sortir du parking en une seule fois,

Logement propre et fonctionnel

Logement propre et fonctionnel. L'accueil a été très facile, nous vous remercions beaucoup pour le présent. Situé à 2 pas de la plage, le logement est très bien situé pour profiter pleinement des environs. Toutefois, 2 petits bemols - la route tres dangereuse pour aller à pied à la plage avec des enfants en bas âge. - la table de jardin située sur le parking des voitures donc aucune intimité extérieure. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans cet endroit magnifique.

une très belle semaine à visiter les environs

La maison est très bien. En voiture, nous avons pu visiter des coins de Ajaccio, le lac de Tolla, la tour de Capo di Muro et différentes plages dont la plage de Cupabia. Tous ces coins valent le détour.

Presque parfait 😍

Maison super propre, fonctionnelle, climatisée. Seul petit bémol, la terrasse côté parking mais pas beaucoup de passage et facilement résolu en mettant la table ds le jardin. J’aurai aimé que la présence de la départementale juste en bas soit mentionnée mais franchement, ce n’est pas gênant. Vue extraordinaire 😍 et plages de rêves isolées pas loin du tout

Emplacement idéal et gentillesse des propriétaires

Maison très agréable et bien située. une belle vue au réveil ou au coucher depuis les lits des chambres, un régal. pb de climatisation sur notre semaine mais bien pris en charge par les propriétaires et son papa. propriétaires très à l écoute et très disponible poyr échanger sur les bons plans à faire aux alentours. Magnifique plage en bas de la maison. Super parcours acrobranche à 1h de route de la maison avec un accueil également incroyable. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

What a view!

We had a good time in this beautiful holiday home. It was rather hard to find, but once found, we really enjoyed everything that it had to offer. It was a very comfy, cosy and rather quiet place to stay, and was a perfect starting point to discover the southern west coast. We missed nothing, everything that we needed was available. Of course you should drive there by car (as most of Corsica anyways), but once arrived, you can also walk to the next beaches and restaurants - everything is available in just a short walk. But definitely the best was the view - you can see the whole bay, and day as night it is breathtaking. Many thanks for that, we really enjoyed the time here!

Vue magnifique

Sympathique maison un peu sur les hauteurs permettant une très belle vue sur la baie d’ajaccio. Endroit calme, situé près de nombreuses plages.ideal en famille. 45 min de l’aéroport, commerces proches accessibles uniquement en voiture. La maison est propre et fonctionnelle. La plage d’argent a 800 m est sublime. L’accès à pied se fait par la route, plutôt dangereux. Le jardin est à l’ombre en octobre et la maison humide, ce qui est sûrement plus agréable en été. Nous n’avons pas eu d’accueil à l’arrivée, et la personne avait plus de 20 min de retard au retour.

La maison est très confortable. Elle est très bien équipée. Elle offre une très belle vue mer. Elle est à proximité de la magnifique plage de Mare e Sole. La maison est située dans une région qui est riche de découvertes et d'activités.

Au calme et proche de la mer

A 15 minutes à pied de la mer avec 2 enfants en bas âge, la localisation un peu sur les hauteurs de Cotti Chiavari offre une jolie vue sur la mer. Maison propre et bien entretenue. Le classeur laissé à disposition par les propriétaires est une mine de renseignements intéressants. Les propriétaires sont de très bons conseils. Il faut absolument aller au marché d'Ajaccio pour acheter le broccio de Mireille. Chambres impeccables. Terrasse à l'ombre bien agréable pour manger. Nous y retournerions volontiers!

Great property, not much happening in the area around it

The house: A really great place to stay. We were a family of four and the size was right for us. I think with more, especially 6 adults, it would feel cramped. The kitchen was fully tooled with all we needed, and as we ate outside on the terrace mot of the time we never really needed to use the living/dining area inside. Both bedrooms upstairs were good-sized, plenty of storage space for clothes and empty cases. The separate toilet and bathroom were also more than fine for us. The only downside was, with temperatures over 30 degrees each day, the house heated up to the point of almost being unbearable in the evenings. Yes, you can open the windows to let the cooler evening air flow through, but then you also invite the mosquitos in...of which there were plenty. So, be sure to bring anti-mosquito spray. Overall, a really great house. I would recommend to the owners to either install some air conditioning units or put anti-mosquito nets over the bedroom windows. The location: Verghia is a small place. Really small. The little beach at the bottom of the hill from the house is great - it's not a 'sandy' beach but it's not pebbles either, I would describe it as either really big grains of sand or really small tones!! It is within walking distance from the house, but I would recommend driving if you have children or are fearful of the wild driving of the locals! But there really isn't much there apart from a pizza place (pretty good) and the Le Roc 72 bar/restaurant (overpriced - 22 euro for a burger?!). The nearest supermarket is a Spar on the way to Porticcio at Agosta Plage. If you take the house, definitely hire a car as you'll need to drive elsewhere to find more signs of life. Porticcio (15 minutes) has a strip of beachfront restaurants and bars, or there's Ajaccio (30-40 minutes) which has loads more to offer. Overall: We will definitely go back to Corsica, and even to that area - as we really liked Ajaccio and also the places further south (Propriano, Tizzano, Bonifacio, Campomoro, etc.) - but we probably wouldn't stay in Verghia again!

Idéal !

Une maison qui offre de remarquables prestations, des propriétaires attentionnés et prévoyants, un cadre agréable pour se détendre, une situation géographique idéale pour visiter les lieux emblématiques de la Corse (de Piana à Bonifaccio en passant par Corte). On en a pris plein les yeux pendant une semaine !
