My family enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again. The location close to beach and nearby restaurants was excellent. The hosts were also very lovely and a pleasure to communicate with.
The first floor two bedroom apartment was nice. It fit four adults and a baby just fine. Extremely convenient and close to the beach. Two outdoor showers had great pressure making it easy to rinse any extra sand off. Owner explained and made it super easy to use everything she provided for us. Everything was easy to find. Nice place to stay if you want to be super close to the beach.

Great location but very small
While the location was perfect, the pictures online were very deceiving as we thought it was bigger than it really was - especially for the price. Parking is tight but owner accommodated parking both our cars because right before check in i found out you only get one spot and there is not much available street parking in that area. Place is bright with lots of windows. great for a small family or with little ones. not for 5 adults. no tub - small stand in shower. outlet in MBR was in line with my face in the bed which was odd. had beach chairs for use but bikes were not really usable. nice to be able to bring my dog and have a washer/dryer (although there were outside in garage). oven/fridge are compact not full size.

This posting needs some amendments
When we first saw the description in vrbo and the pictures of the deck, beach and the house, we honestly believed we were renting the house, considering how old it looked as is ( which I didn't care) . When we arrived with my kids, to our surprise, we were directed to a basement (in the picture the space is the 3 windows below the deck). The rooms are very tiny and I will not qualify the "master" room as queen, but ore like a full with no space to walk around, the hard mattress goes wall to wall. Air conditioning is attached to the windows and very noisy and dusty. Even the the toiled is tiny: you have to seat in diagonal, or you would not fit, and I am not a tall person. In short, and despite we had the owners living all the stay on top of us and inviting friends over, the rental would be fine for half-price and accurately described in the posting. The two positives are the bicycles that the couple allow us to use, and LBI - because LBI is always nice.

So close to the beach - you can hear the waves kiss the shore!
We stayed in the second floor unit from July 16 through July 23. The hands down best feature of the house is its location to the beach. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. There is a quaint little beach lane behind the house which makes it very quick. As for the deck, it actually would have a view of the ocean if not for the small grove of pines and the new dunes which are very high - but it's that close that you'd see the ocean - and as an added bonus, the rear of the house faces one of the McMansion's backyards - so it's clear through to the open sky above the ocean (through the pine trees). The house is a throw back to the 1960's with knotty pine throughout, but newer carpeting and some new light fixtures - the bathroom looks like part of the set from "I Love Lucy" pink tile - but everything works fine. The kitchen is clean and updated (sink faucet pulls out so it's also a sprayer) and features a dishwasher and breakfast island. The master has a door to the bathroom and is roomy with a comfortable mattress. The second bedroom is small, L-shaped with one single bed and then bunks - which are suitable for children - but I wouldn't recommend them for adults as there isn't much head room between the bunk beds and the mattresses in this room are very firm - Mom compared hers to sleeping on a "concrete slab." So you may want to bring feather bed toppers with you. That being said, this is the house to rent - because of the location. It is surrounded by Mansions and the gardens in the neighborhood of Beach Haven Gardens are the best I've seen on the whole of LBI. This is a very safe neighborhood where you'll see many families riding bicycles after dinner or taking long walks. The house is convenient to Murphy's Supermarket and Foster's Garden store (about 2 blocks to the LBI boulevard if you walk) and a WAWA and Gulf Station. I loved my stay here - and I"ve been coming to LBI for many many years. This is by far one of the best rentals for the value and the owners are very nice. I'd also recommend for eating: Woodies Too, Fred's Diner (my mother's favorite) and Foster's Garden Market for sandwiches. As for souvenirs - please do yourself a great favor and visit "How To Live" - this shop is one of a kind and remarkable (there are two - one in Beach Haven and one in Surf City).
Perfectly positioned for easy quick access to beach on ocean block- Second house from beach. Walk to Wawa, Spray beach restaurant, Howard’s and ice-cream. Bagel place around the corner on boulevard too. Comfortable and quiet area of LBI. Can’t say anything more/ other than owner was very available and quick to respond when contacted.
This was a great little home with a one minute walk to the beach. The owners were there while we were and they are wonderful people. I mentioned to them a few things that could use some extra cleaning and they looked into it right away and sent a message to their cleaning service. They were happy to have the feedback because they want to make the home a pleasant experience.
The house was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies. The kitchen had a coffee machine as well as a keurig, a toaster oven and a blender. The garage was stocked with umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards as well as a large brand new washer and dryer.
The location couldn’t be beat, so close to the beach. We really liked having an outdoor shower to cut down on sand getting in the house. Mattresses were firm. Nice flat screen tv that worked with our firestick. The grill was in good condition to barbecue food.
Overall, we had a great week in this house with our 2 children and our dog.
Can not say enough about the location of the property. The location was great.
The property was clean and a good size for three adults and a small dog.
The owners were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.
This quaint little beach house is in the perfect spot. It’s just the right size for a couple or small family, the house is clean and well maintained, but the best feature is the location. Just steps from the beach makes for an excellent acation.
We had all we needed for our stay and Joan was 100% responsive, following up with us prior to and during our stay. Absolutely the best.
I highly recommend this property for small families especially with a well-behaved dog. The inside of the house was updated and clean, with working AC window units in each room. This kept the house nice and cool.
We spent most of our time out riding bikes (we brought our own but there were some in the garage), on the beach (quite close as you see in the photos), fishing (behind Morrison's and be sure to chat with the team at Jingle's bait shop), at the dog beach (end of Taylor Ave on the Bay), or at other areas of the island that allowed for social distancing.
We spent time inside the house in the mornings and evenings watching TV (we brought our own AppleTV and wifi was excellent). We did not feel cramped with four of us, we all seemed to have our own space if we needed it, and there were tables and chairs outside if you wanted to step out.
No complaints!
The house is hidden right behind the dunes and while you cant see the ocean, you can hear the waves. It is just a very short walk onto the beach. It is also walking distance to restaurants.
While the place is small, it was adequate for our needs and has a great fully stocked kitchen. Owners are great and responsive to all needs. Best part for us was that we were able to bring our puppy and the yard was quiet and private.
The location was perfect. i loved how quiet it was and was just enough room for us and our pup! Thanks for having us!
