We warmly invite you aboard our beautiful and comfortable narrowboat ‘Ellis Belle’, fully equipped to ensure you have a wonderful holiday.

You can choose - Static, or Cruise!

Cruise through the stunning Yorkshire Dales, along scenic, peaceful canals.....
..... or stay in historic Skipton - bursting with great places to eat and drink and visit Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey and many other attractions.

4 or 5 day breaks - starting on variable days of the week - please check our calendar for availability.

New boater? - don't worry! We will meet you on arrival, show you to your boat and We will ensure that you have all the necessary training if you are a beginner, taking you through a lock and we'll ensure you are entirely happy before setting you off on your adventure

Narrowboat Ellis Belle was built in 1990 in a traditional, historic style, by the famous and well-respected Colecraft Narrowboat Builders of Warwickshire, and still retains many of it's original features, giving it a real 'Time Capsule' feeling. It has all you will need on board, we supply all your cleaning items, bed linen, towels, etc. On board you will also find a TV, DVD player.

There are 3 bedrooms, one at the front of the boat, with a 44 inch double bed, which converts into lounge/dining area seating up to six adults. In the middle of the boat, there is a bedroom with two single bunk beds and a bedroom at the rear of the boat with one single bed. A fully equipped kitchen, with full size cooker and fridge freezer. Two WCs, two handwash basins and a shower. There is also a small snug, with TV/DVD player.

Your narrow-boat journey will start from our mooring in beautiful rural Greenberfield, near the lovely ancient market town of Barnoldswick, situated at the the very highest point of the the Leeds Liverpool Canal which is often regarded as one of England’s most scenic canals. From Greenberfield you can either cruise east through the stunning scenery of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, towards historic Skipton and on to the famous five-rise locks at Bingley, or west through the Foulridge tunnel and on through the industrial heritage of Lancashire and the lovely Lancashire countryside
