Checked in but moved to a different property

Overall, the unit was as described. Seemed clean but it was dark so I can’t say with 100% certainty. But the property owner apparently didn’t pay the utility bill and there was no power in the unit. Contacted the Vacasa property manager and he found a unit for us within the hour and had us moved and all set up. Pretty disappointed that we didn’t get to stay where we booked and annoyed that our evening plans had to be cancelled due to the delay of having to get rebooked and moved. I am very happy with Vacasa, William the property manager was very fast and on top of everything! Super nice guy!

FILTHY

The smell was so bad when I opened the door, it was horrific! Walls were stained, mattress was stained, pubic hair on the white blanket on bed, sheets stained or filthy, shower curtain ripped, chair on balcony broke, busted glass on balcony, a/c vent so dusty and dirty and floor looked like it had never been swepped or mopped. This was listed as updated condo with sleeper sofa. This was clearly false advertisement. I didn't check in. I did notify VRBO and requested a full refund. I had to get a hotel room for the weeknd.

Photos are deceiving

The pictures posted were staged as the property is decorated differently. There were so many dead plants on the porch, you could not utilize it without being claustrophobic. There's no photos of the bathroom. It is likely original with a terrible paint job and leaks in 4 places from the a/c unit. We had two buckets in the middle of the tiny bathroom all weekend and were told by the property manager that this has been an ongoing problem. Due to the leaks, the whole condo smelled musty. Also the finishes on all the pans are destroyed so you can't even use them without burning whatever you're cooking.

Convenient location but needs pest control and a renovation

I do not recommend this property (3113) due to multiple issues: - Bugs: fruit flies and roaches were present from the very first moment we arrived. Roaches were seen initially in the bathroom, and then the kitchen, countertop and in the final night, they were discovered in the bunk bed (we scrambled to sleep in the living room area due to that) - the second day, pest control was there, but those bugs were very much alive - The balcony was not clean, with dead plants and dusty patio furniture - The balcony door doesn’t have blackout or heavy curtains. Only curtain veil and everything can be seen from the outside especially at night - The person who lives there suddenly opened the main door and showed up at 8:30am the check out day - check out time was 10 am. - The website’s pictures show different furniture like bar stools that are not there. The futon is different, the bathroom cabinet looks better in the pictures. - The whole bathroom needs renovation, bathtub is stained, curtain rod is rusty, vanity-cabinet is old and that is where the roaches can be seen coming out - The Wi-Fi service is very spotty - only works ok in the master bedroom - it is almost impossible to watch TV in the living room area.

Family Vacation

Great option over a regular hotel room. Kinda small, but worked great for what we needed. Loved the balcony and spent a lot of time out there. 2 things that were weird. 1) we could never find the remote to the television in the bedroom 2) the a/c unit run off dripped from the ceiling into the bathtub. Other than those things, not a bad stay.

Beach vacation

Nice small place. Looked exactly like the pictures. Small but still suitable for 5 of us. Only thing was the table was broken. The fridge gets cold but takes a very long time. Other than that everything was great. Nice view of beach. Walking distance from everything in the city.

My Stay

I love the location..The Unit is located on the first floor...I Would Love to be on a high baclony.. inside the place in bathroom leaks water all day...I called and I was told matience would be out and that was not successful..Besides I would stay again.. everything is walking distance..r 2 min drive.. beach access right across the streets.. Friendly property..Jus that I hate the pool close @ 10..but beach open all night.

Really NICE & affordable spot

If you are on a budget and want a good location to everything, this a really nice spot. It needed some updates(minor) like repainting of the front door, "patch up" the patio screen, throw away or replace the wilted-dried up plants(a eye-sore),replace 2-3 shower hooks would be good but overall nice spot. The property needs to give us steady working wi-fi which went in & out but again a nice fairly quiet spot. Its Literally across the street from the beach,around the corner from Wal-Mart and just below are 2 hot tubs. There are 2 pools and 1 of them is heated which was great for swimming at night. We will be back with $budget deals like this for sure.
