Peaceful and relaxing

I cannot tell you how peaceful this place is. When you walk outside, all you hear is birds singing in the trees. I sat on the swing and thought how magnificent heaven must be when a place like this exists on earth. Everything we needed was provided. The boys aged 12 and 11 had their own little "man cave" with a large screen tv and windows that allowed them to see the woods. As we were leaving, the boys both asked if we could come back there again. DEFINITELY!!! We will be back!! Thank you Sheryl & Jim for providing such a beautiful place to make memories with the grandsons.

Great Stay

We journeyed to the smokies for our annual spring/summer trip. We enjoyed the location, space, and being able to cook and clean our clothes as needed during our trip. If you enjoy the peaceful side of the smokies as they call the area, you will enjoy this place as well!

Beautiful location near Cades Cove

Beautiful, Secluded, Responsive Host!

I'm originally from East Tennessee, and my family makes our annual "pilgrimage" back from Ohio every Memorial Day weekend. We gave this place a shot in hopes of getting away from the busyness of Gatlinburg and giving our kids more room to play. Boy, did it pay off! Sheryl responds almost immediately to any question, and the place is perfect, especially during rainy mornings and quiet evenings on the porch. It was everything we were looking for, the price was perfect, and we hope we can come back!

My new favorite!

This house does not disappoint! They’ve taken great care of the property and made sure that what was needed is there. It is a quiet little sanctuary with a bath tub fit for a queen, a theater room for the tv watchers and a large (but unfenced) yard for the kids to play. I will definitely return!! ❤️

Great mountain home

Everything was as described. Beautiful property, nicely landscaped. The location was great also. Very private. We chose this house due to the close proximity of Cades Cove, one of our favorite places. We didn’t do much cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped. I highly recommend this house.

Very cozy

We had a great week! Cabin was everything we wanted BUT when we booked in October we were under the impression from the listing that it had a hottub, which we were really disappointed to find out that was changed before our stay. Otherwise we loved our stay and had a great Christmas. Our kids favorite was going down the hills in the front yard on their skateboard. We loved being convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but still in a quiet peaceful area.

All was very nice would definitely stay there again, if i had to complain about anything was floors were noisy when walking on them and people in bedrooms could hear you but this is not a big deal .

Great location for my family. We live Cades Cove and is very convenient to it.

The property is clean & in a great location on the quiet side of the smokies. Lots of space for my family of 4. My 17 year old son LOVED the movie room.

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful home with a beautiful view. Gave 3 stars for accuracy only because when I booked the home a few months back they advertised a hot tub which was not there on arrival. Other than that I gave it 5 stars and would book again.

Perfect secluded family cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear. Check in was a breeze, cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. It is very secluded, yet only a few minutes to town. This was a great place for a family vacation. We hope to stay again!

Beautiful place to stay

Everything was clean and attention to detail. New like pans in kitchen. Cupboards are old and kitchen needs updates to match the rest of the cabin. We didn’t see bear but we sat on the front porch everyday watching and waiting. It wasn’t a problem though because the setting is so beautiful. They have quite the gem there in the mts. Floors are very squeaky and I thought it was going to be problem but it wasn’t. You just knew when someone was moving about in the house. The hot tub room is no longer but now has an 80 inch tv. and a relaxing sofa. I do wish the lights in the backyard had bulbs because I so wanted to see a bear even if it was at night. If you are a fussy person it is the perfect place to get away to. I didn’t have to clean it to enjoy it.

Amazing quiet
