Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. There are so many wonderful things to explore, come stay with us and experience the very best the peaceful side of the Smokies has to offer. We had a wonderful time. The house has all the conveniences that we needed. The shower was great. Couches and beds are comfortable. If you’re coming in the winter and it’s going to be cold, definitely suggest you get firewood at the store to use in the stove. The heat pump causes the living room temp to fluctuate up and down.

Honey Bear Cabin / Cades Cove Adjacent

If you enjoy visiting Cades Cove and hiking in the mountains, then this cabin is for you. This cabin is in the valley just north of Cades Cove and is very similar in look and feel. The cabin is secluded, clean and well appointed. Everything works. Very comfortable. Convenient to Townsend town center. Large stores are 30 minutes away in Maryville. We will book again. Thank you for a great stay.

This was a family trip with me, my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. The property was beautiful. The lay out of the house was perfect for my mom, uses a wheelchair, and my Aunt who uses a walker. We loved it! The porch swing was my favorite!

Beautiful property

Great Stay

We journeyed to the smokies for our annual spring/summer trip. We enjoyed the location, space, and being able to cook and clean our clothes as needed during our trip. If you enjoy the peaceful side of the smokies as they call the area, you will enjoy this place as well!
